Chelle and Diane have been best friends all their lives. Diane is unaware that her friend has become obsessed with a single, unexpected freckle on the bottom of her foot, or that their habit of shrinking themselves to make the screen bigger when playing video games is about to go very differently than usual.
Author's note: Not sure whether I'm going to continue contributing stories. Twenty years ago, it wasn't uncommon for my GTS stories to be read hundreds of thousands or even millions of times and generate hundreds of comments and discussions. I've watched that dwindle to a few thousand views and two or three comments. If no one is actually reading what I write any more, there doesn't seem to be any point in throwing away time and effort on work which will vanish largely unseen.
The valiant knight, Lady Diasola, and her loyal squire, Baric, get lost while returning from their treasure hunting adventures in the mountains. Thankfully, an innocent-seeming lady invites them to stay for the night in her cottage. They are grateful for the shelter and hospitality, but beneath their host's gentle exterior, she hides much more devious intentions.
