Summary:

Seth is one of many humans living under the velvet gloved rule of the Stelan Imperium, living his life in the shadow of the gold skinned amazons who have made Earth a protectorate. While most humans have embraced or at least ignored their new overlords, Seth remains suspicious, and finds himself increasingly drawn to their rivals, the enigmatic amazons of the Old Kingdom, an ancient star empire reminiscent of Egypt. An encounter with one of their diplomats quickly has Seth falling for a harsher brand of alien rule...
