I can see why Aren wants to keep his friends a secret.  After his "break up" with Natalie, he wants these 2 for himself.  For Michael, its about staying safe.  He and the Captain have the biggest disadvantage of all the groups on the island, they're normal sized.  For Natalie, its plain shock.  She's not the biggest anymore.  And if going by how she handled being the biggest in a group of normals, Izzy would probably take over and displace her new leadership role.  I don't want to be any of them when its discovered they lied to their new companions.  Though Izzy may be neutral on human companionship, what about MALE companionship  She's the oldest woman on the island so far and appears to have been there the longest.  Unless she's a lesbian and if Ally and Dea are any indication, she's going to want to have some male fun.

A good start.  I look forward to maybe getting a little more background info on this world.  Is shrinking common?  How has society dealt with it?  I noticed some references to some of the giant people having crushes on the small members, and potetial relationships being encouraged.  Would those end up being somewhat "normal" relationships (as possible with the size differences), or is a pet/master relationship?  Lots of potential here and many possible stories that can be told.  Hopefully all this info with trickle out in future chapters!

Looks like things are getting into full swing.  Since Dr. Monica is stuck giant-size, maybe Arell's people can use her to help guide Earth towards a peaceful future.  The first of a new breed of giant-size Earthies.  Looking forward to future chapters.

Good chapter!  And since you asked . . . I would go with the giantess only route.  In order for there to be harmony between tinies and giantesses, I would imagine they would need something from the other; a way to relate to eachother as intelligent beings.  Otherwise you get a giantess race of oppressors who will squash, eat, and toy with the tinies.  So either the giantesses are science enhanced humans, humans with a gene for giantism, or magic.  This would enable the giantesses and tinies to breed with eachother.  Giantism could be a recessive gene, only active in females.  Occasionally you get a tiny family that would suddenly birth a giantess.  They would stay with the family for a year or two before they could no longer care for her, then an adult giantess or the government would take her and raise her in the giantess zone.  Unless one of the parents is a giantess.  Nothing is obsolute in nature, so male giants are possible, but extremely rare and they have same chance to produce giant offspring as everyone else, or not.

Going with what you have so far, maybe there was some tension between the races in the past.  Since giantesses need tiny males, they would kidnap them and use them.  Giantesses couldn't oppress tinies forever, since tinies are more numerous and combine that with advanced technology, tinies could kill giantesses, possibly to extinction.

Just some ideas.  In the end I just like to see happy giantess-tiny relationships, and not have it be too rare, but rare enough when you probably consider the small size of the giantess population compared to the relatively large tiny population.

This ending is better then the first one, but still seems kind of weak.  I liked the almost omninous way you had Allison survive in the last one.  Like she could return some day.  Remember, the shrinking formula was untested and rushed.  It was nice for Mark to learn a lesson from this, but it just rubs me the wrong way that he would subordinate himself to Chuck and become a hero.  It might seem better if he became an anti-hero, or a hero with an attitude.  I just think you wrapped it up a little TOO cleanly.

Looking at the way Steven thinks about his relationships and how it would be when he shrinks noticably, you'd wonder why he isn't considering suicide.  I hope he can come to terms with it, find someone that can actually care for him and dig out some kind of tolerable life when he's too small to live normally.

Glad that you're still writing.  Steven's a smart guy, but his pride is going to ruin him.  I hate to point out the obvious.  He's putting himself right into Jade's clutches.  He can resolve this by simply telling everyone.  He still has enough size to matter.  If he does what Jade tells him, he's guranteeing that Jade and her mother will get custody of him.  I really would like to start seeing some common sense from him.  The clock is ticking and he doesn't have time to mess around being Jade's slave and giving up half his money.  I look forward to reading more.

I've suspencted for a while that there was more to Jade and her "obssession" with Steve.  I can only hope that her feelings are true and that this won't go horrible wrong.

You could spin this chapter off into its own story.  Teenage years are hard enough, but to be part of a shrinking minority or normal people could make it harder.  It might be nice to see his school life or hanging out with friends.  Maybe he has a normal girlfriend that elevates suddenly and having to deal with the awkwardness of relating to each other or deciding whether to continue the relationship or not.  But regardless, these stories are pretty good and you should definitely continue.

And cue Super Ramona!  She just had another evolution.  Maybe this would include some kind of sense of  her loved one's condition and their location?  Anyway, I think Greg can kiss his remaining independence goodbye.  I'm anxious to get back to Dave and his problems.  Unlike the other normals, only his daughter cares what happens to him and she's too young to do anything about it.
