Carol is a big lady who takes hormone blockers to manage her growth spurts. When these drugs make her sick, she's forced to abandon treatment. The growth spurts return, along with other symptoms that make it harder for her to keep her life organized. Her teenage son Kyle is forced to pick up the slack. His responsibilities grow alongside his voluptuous mother.
