Bratty Maria is a fourteen-year-old blonde who is one of the most popular girls in school. She is more concerned with her looks and trying to get into a relationship with her classmate Lucas than school. Maria is secretly jealous of the easygoing nature of her classmate Una whom she considers a competitor. In an act of petty retribution, she decides to use her father’s shrink ray to shrink Una.

 Things go horribly wrong when Maria accidentally shrinks herself to an ant-sized half a centimeter height and gets stranded on Una’s desk. When Una returns from her lunch break, she mistakes Maria for an ant and swipes her on the floor, a fall Maria survives due to her smaller mass. Unfortunately for Maria, in a twist of destiny it turns out the “floor” she landed on is actually a worn insole of Una’s pink Birkenstock sandal.

Lucas sees a little dot falling into Una’s empty sandal but mistakes little Maria for an ant. He has a crush fetish and, as Una obliviously scrolls the phone, he eagerly awaits the moment Una will inevitably put her foot back in the sandal.

While away on a business trip, you manage to score a handful of non-prescription shrinking pills. The lesson to be learned here is this; if you're going to experiment with unmarked shrinking pills, then tell someone what you're doing. Anyone who isn't your idiot friend Evan.
