A high ranking member of a secret society called the Disciples of the Hidden Path, currently in a state of chaos, finds an old tome in a musuem store room. Believing it capable of summoning a supernatural being and binding it to his will, he becomes fixated on performing the ritual. When he conducts the ritual, not all goes as planned, and there is a very hefty price to pay.

This is a fun little project I'm working on where I go through the plot of The Borrowers but with my characters instead. As you can imagine most characters will relate to their original counterparts. Story beats will also be similar but with some differences.

Arthur Brenner has gone for most of his life pretending to be someone he can only dream of being.

But just as a ray of light enters his dark world, everything becomes what never should've been. Our cocky, shy, and very stubborn hero is pitted into a world of things he can no longer control, and many more things he will have to learn to manipulate, even if it costs him a piece of who he is.

Can he grow as a person, in deeds? And if so, does size determine what a real person is? Or does the content of our character  define who we are?

This story is based on characterization and will not be 100% action. It has been written with more mature audiences in mind, or those who enjoy immersion in a world bourn of fantasy. The action is latent compared to some others, but I believe the wait is worth it.

A shrunken Harry winds up getting FAR more acquainted with Hermione than he ever wanted to be. Done as a commission. 

A group of students known as The Brain Trust come to gether to share resources. This particular meeting however, one of them brings a shrinking device, which leaves them stranded in a room with a tardy member of theirs.
