Writing a fantasy story is fair enough but there has to be a certain amount of realism even here. How could the world support so many giants? Surley they would inevitably run out of food and die. Heck, even today, in the real world, they are talking about food shortages. I'm sorry to burst your bubble but, SafetyPin is in many ways correct. Despite that SafetyPin has not listed ways in which you could improve your story:
You should probably retink the entire story carefully. So perhaps the aliens only chose selected groups of people to rule? It seems odd how they would come and randomly make people grow. There has to be a good and believable reason for them making people grow. Or maybe the aliens want to invade?
Plus you need to add more details. The decribing how the aliens made people grow is a good start for a prolouge but I read the whole first chapter in about a minute. Not how the story in its current form merits the 5 star rating someone gave but everyone is entitiled to their honest opinion.

so im going to explain this a second time.
The aliens took them away as soon as they grew. it even says right in the story. "However, mere seconds after half the population of Earth grew to their colossal size a large robot came out of the sky and ordered them to travel with him" so theres no need to ask all these hypothetical questions about how they could eat or if their clotes grew with them and how they would survive in the cold atmosphere without freezing to death or hyperventilating due to lack of oxygen. they are gone. if they stayed on earth you would be right and they would have trouble finding food but i never said they would stay on earth. I said they left.
they never wanted the people to rule. thats why they took them away. it was a trick. youll se why in the next chapter i posted. there doesnt always have to be a good and believable reason for people growing. in some stories, girls just grow or boys just shrink, for no reason at all and it turns out to be a decent story. How can you rationally explain something that hast happened in real life yet. as far as i know.
its true this was a short chapter. but i just wanted to add an intro before i get to the good stuff but im getting tons of emails about how giants could survie and how thir body's would adapt to the weather and if they could fit on earth. i never even specifed a specific size. Use your Imagnation.

Yeah it got posted 3 times because the site kept giving me a server error on the additional Authors box, despite having nothing in there so i tried refreshing and it threw me back to the blank submitting form each time. I only just found out how to delete the other two submissions.
Normally i do edit the doc to put speech and text on separate lines but i copy/pasted this from my facebook page and by the time the site actually told me it had accepted the story i couldn't be bothered messing about with it any more.

It's ok but then the name Eli appeared from nowhere and it gets very confusing for me as a reader. There is no mention of this person previously. Perhaps if oyu describe her first and then only call her Eli after he name is mentioned for the first time by another character...

I apologize for the late reply, but I can see where you're coming from. I guess I was trying to evoke what many comics and TV shows do, but I imagine that it's harder to pull off in stories.

Another Brilliant chapter. I'd just like to mention that a bullet to the throat would surley kill her, especially on the inside. I didn't find that very believeable. That aside, I can't wait to read the next chapter.
It's good to see an island of quality in this sea of rubbish. What I mean is many stories can be read in either a minute or less or are more of a scene rather than a stories with a good plot.
