Summary:

Edit (2/24/17): I'm sorry to say that I don't think I'll be updating the story here any longer.  I'm already updating it on another GTS website (I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say which, but I'm sure most folks reading this probably know of that one also), and with so many chapters, corrections and changes are a pain in the butt.  It seems silly to bother with both, so feel free to check it out in the future on the other major GTS site.  Thanks for reading.

Synopsis: You know the drill.  Pandemic story; men are (largely) untouched but women grow to 9-14' and have increased sexual appetites.  Where I've tried to set the story apart is in building a deep relationship between the two primary characters, Alex Gray and Elise Pierce.  My goal is a nuanced approach to revealing the impacts of the changing society on that relationship and others as the world shifts radically from male to female dominance.  Lots of detailed worldbuilding and a pretty heavy dose of romance.  Slow growth through much of the first half(ish) of the story.  This is primarily a New World Order story in the Mini GTS realm.  There is (limited) BE, multiple sexual situations with characters of various ages (none are minors), and most encounters are gentle.  There are some violent/slave encounters toward the latter part of the story, but if you're reading for these, best look elsewhere, as they're not going to be the primary focus.  Expected length is around 90-100k words.

This story was just plain, old-fashioned fun. It had many of the standard giantess tropes, but you presented them with skill and creativity, making it easy to suspend disbelief. The characters' personalities held true throughout the work, and that kept me coming back to read further. The appearance of Grace was necessary as a means of bringing an end to the fun, but at least there's one more chapter. Excellent story! It makes me want to explore others in this universe.

It's quite a curious thing in this scenario, honestly. In this particular world, Ollie likely does have things as best as someone afflicted by this disease could: He has a loving person that's invested not just in a continued life for him, but in providing a comfortable life for him - granted that Kaylie also expects a small amount of returned affections, but he's also not abused in any real sense, not by Kaylie or even her sorority sisters. Of course, the real negative is that Ollie himself has 0 agency in his position in the world - to the point where, as he's found the love of his life, he has to depend on that lover to make the case for possession of him. He makes no case for himself, in fact saying not a word, and instinctively performs in a manner that Kaylie enjoys.His life isn't really his. And in a way, that might be more painful than any potential mistreatment that he could have been faced with had his owner been less kind. Psychologically, anyway.

Hmm, this statement has me concerned: "you pretty much just choose the one you want and they toss you the keys, nothing else."

Does that mean there are no homeless Betas? I suppose it's easy and good to solve the problem of homelessness simply because it would be easy for Omegas to achieve such a feat, especially for Betas. However, if everything is handed to Betas, what is there to work for? What incentive? Do beta's just become pets, unable to care for themselves? Lucy means well, but her first instincts are to bring Neil to her house (dollhouse?) and fight Neil's fight for him.

Realistically, Omegas, in their exalted wisdom, should put an end to this mixed soceity and section Betas off into their own land. Relations between Alphas and Betas causes more harm than good.

Of course, if that happened, readers (including myself) would lose interest due to the lack of giantess interaction. So we're glad that isn't the case in this world. But separating Betas and Alphas is what *should* happen...if we're being realistic.

There probably are still some homeless Betas around, but the free apartments thing is an attempt to eliminate that issue eventually. The incentive is for basically everything else; the Omegas don't just hand out the food and other amenities required. They're just trying to give a boost so the Betas have a good starting point for autonomy. Lucy is just planning on putting Neil in his own little bed in her room, not a dollhouse. There actually are areas around the world where the races aren't quite as mixed. This particular city where all of the current stories take place just happens to be promoting it the most as the current epicenter for the Omegas. I think everything I just said is accurate, though I would as usual defer to Ackbar for universe-related queries like this.

Even if this wasn't a continuation of my story, I'd want to read this. You're a skilled writer, and you bring the characters to life in a unique way. The jump from first person to third person omniscient works quite well, as it highlights the shift between authors, and provides new perspective. I enjoyed the movement from Luna's to Ash's mind toward the end of this chapter. Normally I find such transitions jarring, but the intimacy allowed a natural transition. You almost perfectly matched the Ash and Luna in my mind, especially Ash. And Luna was tricky because she's Ascended and should behave a bit different. I liked how you portrayed her new intellectual gift, as something available but perhaps not always 'on' unless she chooses to access it. Please continue. :)

I'm glad I matched your mental image of Ash and Luna. That's high praise, coming from the original author.

I find writing Luna the hardest, since she should remember the way she treated Ash before, and the way she treats Ash should change -- but not too fast. It's a tough balance. I mostly worry she's changing too fast, so I try to slow it down as much as I can. - Thanks for the feedback!

Date: September 21 2015 Title: Chapter 2: A Day at the Office

Another excellent chapter. Your 'day at work' is much better than what I'd started. You keep the interactions one-on-one, which allows us to focus on dialog and characters without being overwhelmed by the number of people at work. You show man as 'boss' in a tongue-in-cheek sense -- an ususual mixture of 'extremely valuable' and 'hopelessly dependent/inferior'. Even though it's a 'safe' environment, they don't even let him go to the bathroom unaided. Yet Ash takes it all in stride simply because he knows of no different existance. Women are likely jealous of Amy and her regularly being the first person Ash calls for aide. She, of course, is thrilled. Assuming 1 man marries 4 women on average (who knows the exact ratio), women only have a 1 in 25 chance of getting married so it's like winning the lottery. This type of society opens itself up to all kinds of other facets. The world would be a dream come true for a lesbian, even though most partners would prefer a man. I imagine the sex toy industry would also get a lot of business. With Ascended fluids having such an effect, I wonder if women would try to 'spike' the drink of a man. Now I'm just rambling but you got me thinking again. :)

In my mind, nobody in this world would fit our definition of "lesbian". No ascended woman prefers female intimacy to healing, since it's like an orgasm x 10, plus the health and life benefits. That said, with so few men, and no taboo about F/F relationships, it's natural for women to fall in love, build strong relationships, and marry. With healing easy (if pricy) at healing centers, they can enjoy each other and healing too.

Addison is the current character closest to a lesbian. She's a very strong woman, attracted to strength only other ascended women can offer her. She also can hold off her urges towards men much better than most women. That said, she still needs and desires healing. It's just part of ascended physiology.

Interesting. Definitely a departure from what I'd envisioned with the knife bending thing, but I like it! I think it would be good to add an explanation of 'glimmer' at some point since I don't think it was mentioned in my original story. I do like the name for it tho, has an 'enchanting' connotation. I also like the way you portrayed Addison. I like how she explained the altruistic intentions of Ascended, i.e., they're intelligent enough to know the benefit of healing and the value of sharing their male partners to survival of their race in general. Jealousy in the classic sense doesn't exist in the same way. Kissing is held in higher esteem as something shared for true intimacy since healing (i.e., sex) serves other more critical functions beyond intimacy/pleasure.

Write more please! :)

The 'power within' concept was born out of my desire to make the advantage that induced acendants have take a tangible part in the story, rather than Luna just "being passively smarter". This is what happened in chapter 1 with Luna and her moment of focus / intellect. 

However, I didn't want the 'power within' (might need a better name) to be exclusive to induced (or exclusive to intellect), since that seemed too weird. Thus the 2-3% of women who cultivate their inner connection (i think of it as a zen/enlightenment thing)

Combine this with my desire to find some way to make Addison unique, and I decided she needed to have access to this rare gift, especially for strength. This explains why she's a police officer, and why she's such a 'catch' for a sexpot like Regan. It also expains how Addison is really the alpha among them, even if she doesn't always seem it. (though who knows how that will change now that Luna's induced!)

Not too much going on in this chapter. Nice how you linked to the first story with the jewelry shop tho.

There are so many easy ways Ash could get money, e.g., selling his services to the highest bidder. However he opts for 'traditional' employment. Hopefully experiences like this, the inability to afford things, don't change his mind. :)

Wow, two chapters at once! I almost didn't notice this second chapter. I recommend spreading this out more next time. :)

This was a great chapter tho! We got to see Ash and Luna 'interact' after her full ascension and while it went as expected, in some ways, that's a good thing.

You do a good job of portraying Luna's enhanced intellect. Let's hope her brilliance doesn't become more of a burden than a boon.

You mentioned at one point that she pulled his head into her stomach, just under her breasts. Would he be that tall? I think he's only 5'9. So he'd perhaps reacher her lower abdomen, unless she was coming up the stairs or something.

Excellent story thus far! When did you find time to write 45 chapters?!

The strength increase does surprise me a bit. Given how easily she manipulated the high tensile steel, her hands can exert over 100,000 pounds per square inch. That's an enormous amount of pressure (for comparison, the human jaw is 120 PSI). It's also far greater than the pressure caused being hit by a bullet.

So I'm curious how they drew her blood with a needle. :)

Sure, this is fiction and we can make stuff up, but I can't help but think about these things, lol. Great story tho, and I'm so glad I found it!!

I wrote Goddess Resort July-September 2011, so it took about three months to write and edit the 66,000 words. Though it could certainly use some more editing. I think I was on a break from work at the time.

The strength increase was to bring in a bit of 'superpower' ala Supergirl. I agree there is a bit of contradiction between their extreme strength and drawing blood. Might be better to have the labtech fail with bent needles.

It's pretty rare that I read all of a series, but I read all of this one! It was somewhat predictable, and had too many characters/plot threads, but I just couldn't get enough. You just write matter-of-factly in a way that's quite refreshing to read. Plus there were so many similarities to things I wrote in Luna's Ascension, I couldn't help but wonder if I somehow plagiarized your work without ever reading it. :)

I really liked the parts where Suzanne and others demonstrated their strength. I also liked the fact that most of the giantesses were gentle, always my preferred theme.

At this point, I think that Wendel just needs to disappear somehow. I like Chris' storyline much better, but that's just personal preference.

Overall, excellent work, sir! One of the best I've read in a long, long while.

The words are raw and unedited, but the story siezes control and doesn't let go. Every character in the sizable cast has a distinct personality. Themes of betrayal and forgiveness are leveraged skillfully to create a masterpiece of storytelling. The saddest part, by far, is that the story is drawing to a close. Of course, it's already the length of two full novels, but I don't want it to end. I want to see Claire reunite and forgive (of course), but also how the plan unfolds, how things are five years from now, and so much more. Maybe if I leave a review after every chapter, you'll just keep writing them. :)

Hehe, if i had kept with the story path i set out when i first started this i might have just held you up on that offer. But sadly, or i should say thankfully i was stopped a few chapters in and the story by far has made me happy as a whole where it otherwise might not have. Thank you for reviewing SpookyTaco. I know even with my work being edited by F.W. there's still a lot of mistakes i make he isn't able to fix for me... :(

Summary:

Set after the events of The Escape Redux, Jessica Chen is no longer living on the island she called home for ten years but with her rich billionaire friend Jack who agreed to house the giantess for the time being. She doesn't expect it to be trouble but when you throw a two hundred foot giantess into the mix, trouble is the least to expect.

 

  As if things could not get any worse, Jessica must contend with Jack's girlfriend Caitlin, a woman who cannot stand the sight of Jessica and believes the latter has an ulterior motive. Which is false, Jessica wouldn't have anything up her sleeve? Or does she?

Jessica underestimates the value she could provide in a job. There are plenty of fields where her unique talents would come in handy. Excavation, construction, and demolition are just a few that come to mind. Given that she'd be replacing many men and machines in those areas, she could easily earn enough to feed herself. You read about such giant machines like the Bagger 288. It cost 100 million to build and 10 million every time they want to move it to another location. She could save those companies loads of money.

Hey thanks for the review! I think that's a very good point, her hands could easily move the earth with more precision than some of the machines currently used she  could negotiate for a high salary given the manpower saved and other costs like moving it. Its one way she could earn it, I've thought of a few more where her talents could be put to good use. Right now she'd underestimate herself because she's now forced to survive in the outside world where the average person is smaller than her finger, she's still finding her feet at the moment.

Wonder what Eva has in mind. Jessica can't exactly model the latest swimsuit since she wouldn't fit. She could advertise non-clothing related items: tourist locations, beverages, food, restaurants. Simply capturing a portion of her body in the frame would draw ones attention, tho perhaps more to Jessica than to the item being advertised.

I'd say it's a risk for Eva, though likely one worth taking.

I think Jessica could model clothes, it would require making a very large size but if Eva has the means to do it, Jessica could model clothing too. It would make use of her looks too and perhaps there might be other incentives if she does clothes too? Given that those clothes could only be worn by Jessica or the Statue of Liberty, you get what I mean......

 

Yeah if it works, Eva's company would taste an unprecedented level of success. Jessica alone would get attention , as a giantess and now a giantess model she is going to draw attention just by turning up; like if The Pope turned up to officiate a wedding. You know it will be on every paper in ever country.
