A reward for a contest on my Deviantart account. A son spends a bit to much money buying socks from a foot model he loves, so his mother decides to teach him a lesson in working for your money.

In a world where newly released shrinking technology is being utilised by entrepreneurs, we hear the story of Steve, a 25 year old, unemployed and struggling artist. With Mother’s Day looming close, he believes he has the perfect stunt to make a name for himself on the art scene.

Unfortunately for Steve, things don’t go to plan. Find out what happens when he remains an inch tall, in the possession of his strangely vain and domineering mother.

Natalie Beaumont hates shrinkies. Which is a huge problem for two of her children who have caught the shrinking virus. Life gets extremely difficult and scary for them as they deal with their giant mom. And it only gets more terrifying for them as their only ally, their big sister Aubreigh, is starting to see them differently as well.

Steve, a young man with a vast inherited wealth, catches the Shrinking Virus.  How will Lola, his girlfriend, and his best friend Mike react?  

     After Tim mistakenly drinks a mysterious, secret potion his mother brought back from a research trip to the Amazon, he winds up shrinking to a mere 1-inch tall; now, while his mother frantically works to formulate a cure for her tiny son, Tim is stuck at home in the care of his aunt, who starts taking advantage of her nephew’s “little” condition.

1/29/2024 — Based on the feedback I’ve received, I’ve decided to go ahead and write an epilogue to this story. I’m not sure exactly when it will be finished and posted, but I’ll be working on it as well as a few other small projects as I prepare to write my next novel. I just wanted to thank everyone for all their support and honest feedback. This story was just supposed to be practice for my novels, but it’s certainly taken on a life of its own.
