Summary:

I’ve received some feedback in the past that my longer stories, specifically novels, have been likened to merely a “spaghetti string of scenarios”, with the main character simply getting caught in and going from one awkward situation into another without any rhyme, reason, or story development. Obviously, I know that people really want to get to the “good parts”, but I also want to provide good quality stories that people want to read and be engaged in. So, I’ve decided to try something: I present to you “A Series of Scenarios”! 


The stories in this series are going to be very scenario focused—there won’t be much character growth nor development; it’s mainly going to be the “good parts”. The overall purpose of this series is to test out the numerous different shrunken encounters and giantess interactions that I’ve used and plan to use in my future projects and see what my readers think of them. That way, I can practice writing my encounters and various scenarios and get feedback on what you all like and don’t like so I can change, improve, and perfect them. This will be especially helpful in practicing the scenarios/genres I’ve never done before, or only briefly explored. Basically, this is your chance to be extremely critical and provide detailed reviews so I know what works, and what I need to work on.

Summary:


     After Tim mistakenly drinks a mysterious, secret potion his mother brought back from a research trip to the Amazon, he winds up shrinking down to a mere 1-inch tall; now, while his mother frantically works to formulate a cure for her tiny son, Tim is stuck at home in the care of his aunt, who starts taking full advantage of her nephew’s “little” condition.


12/3/2024 — The first set of Friday chapters are now updated and posted. I know everyone has been waiting patiently for new material instead of just getting rewrites, but being the perfectionist I am, I’m working hard to get them just right. I really do hope everyone enjoys and appreciates the effort. I’m hoping to have the remaining Friday and Saturday chapters, plus the long awaited epilogue completed by the start of the new year.

SPOILER ALERT:


     So, one of the more common complaints in the reviews I’ve received concerns the ending of the story: I agree the whole discipline thing is a bit out of character based on how I wrote Natalie and developed her character over the course of the story, which is one of the reasons I chose to start doing rewrites.

     Now, I would like to remind all of you that the initial intention of this story was more about hashing out scenarios and situations for my larger stories rather than character and story development, so I would ask that you all be a little forgiving on the plot. That being said, I also realize that this story has kinda evolved quite a bit from its original premise, and that you all have become emotionally involved in the characters and are expecting a high-quality story. With that in mind, I’m going to do my best to rework the ending a little bit; I want it to pretty much stay the same situationally, but I want Natalie’s intentions to fit more with her character. I think this will also help transition into the epilogue and the eventual sequel I’m looking to write in the future.

     In any case, thank you all for your input, and keep submitting those suggestions and feedback.
