Please kill Julian ASAP. I don't care how. He's a douchebag asshole of literally unbelievable magnitude.

Sometimes in fiction, characters are so unsavory that members of the audience either begin to lose suspension of disbelief or abandon the work entirely because the real world is filled with enough unpleasant people that the audience member thinks "Why should I waste my free time exposing myself to another one?"

Julian is such a character. In the real world, an alpha douchebag like that would either get the shit kicked out of him to take him down a few pegs or outright murdered. (*) If I was another guy in this story, while Julian was being used as a buttplug, I'd be conspiring with the others to take him out.

(*) This sort of thing happens in reality too. I've seen on PBS an alpha female hyena who was a real douchebag. The other hyenas got fed up with her and beat her to within an inch of her life and she became the lowest in social order.

So, either please kill Julian or cause something to happen to him so he reassesses being the alpha douche he is.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review and share your feelings about the story. Yes, Julian is an asshole and I've tried to shed some light on some of his character flaws. While I can't defend what an absolute tool he's been to other characters, he is has been trapped here longer than any of the others and has constructed defense mechanism to push others away, all the while desperately afraid of being al;one. I too have seen usurpation of misplaced authroity and social upheaval both in the animal kingdom and obviously through human history. Rest assured, there will be some comeuppance for our disagreeable mouthpiece.

Gork, the hyena queen, has been a total douche and threatening the existence of her clan with her selfish behavior. The others take out You can watch around 19:00 minutes. By 22:00, Gork is maimed and by 25 minutes, we see what happens. This is mammalian behavior in a social order and that includes humans.

Upon Bohdi's healing, together, we would have killed Julian.

Things may change given the fact Faith is not acquiring more tinies on a regular basis and who can say how Julian will be tolerated over a longer period of time before someone attempts to put him in his place. Maybe they could just freeze him out...

The voiced speech of a typical adult male will have a fundamental frequency from 85 to 180 Hz, and that of a typical adult female from 165 to 255 Hz.

So, if we take a 5 foot 10 inch man, he'd be about 178 cm tall. Shrink him to 5 cm tall, then he is now 0.0281 of his original height. That means that the wavelengths involved in making his voice will all be reduced by that same factor. The frequency is the inverse of that factor so, his frequencies will go up by a factor of 35.56.

If we take the low end of his normal voice as 85 Hz and multiply that by 35.56, we get 3022.6 Hz which is rather squeaky.

Author's Response: Yes, i’m aware of the issue. If we keep on thinking that way, a tiny human wouldn’t even be able to survive for more than a few second, for a hundred different reasons. My point was that since 100% scientific accuracy is not possible, i explained how those phenomena worked (or didn’t work) in this specific, fictional world. In particular, i don’t like the idea of the tinies having such a ridiculous voice, it feels comical and definitely not necessary. I really don't get this story. I am not into butts and anal insertion, so it really doesn't appeal to me on a GTS level, but that's OK because "to each his own".

However, as a scientific American, I am having a problem with "suspension of disbelief". How could it possibly have any scientific value to stick a shrunken person up someone else's ass? How is this justifiable?

Hey, thanks a lot for the review. Let's work backwards from the end.

Mandatory, permanent rear-housing is a means to an end. The "end" is a significant cutback on use of non-renewable resources and redirecting the climate crisis trend downward or at least decreasing its upward slope as well as improving socioeconomic conditions around the world. (This is what Dr. Walker has suggested and admittedly, the "end" has really not been discussed at great length, and any mentioning of it has been pretty vague. The reason for that will be revealed in future installments.)

Mandatory, permanent rear-housing is the means, but we're not even up to the "means" yet...Dr. Walker hasn't confirmed if long-term rear housing is even viable, and that will take years...decades even...nor has she addressed some of the other logistic concerns such as reproduction...so fully understanding if the "means" is truly an effective approach won't be known until the experiment concludes, and this series is all about the experiment.

Between Lori's story and Becca's story, Dr. Walker has went pretty indepth on the justifications, hypotheses, and data analysis. If any of these in particular jump out at you and you have corrections/suggestions, I would truly value your input on some of the scientific details because I'm very interested in suspending disbelief as much as reasonably possible. At the end of the day though, this story exists solely to talk about shrunken people in butts...there's no way to achieve 100% believablity...the ethical and moral components alone are enough to cripple suspension of disbelief, let alone scientific authenticity, but then again so too does most setups, such as the "girl finds magic book and shrinks guy" trope.
