Hmm. A different direction then what I expected. I assumed that Carly would relate to Bob as a sex object or try to maintain their marriage, but with HER in charge. Surprising that she's actually treating him like a pet/doll. I'm assuming he's going to go with Sandra. I wonder if she'd treat him any better?
Carly's ultimate goal, seeing her husband as a tiny miniature man, had been incredibly realized with the help of her sister...
Afterword, her mind reverted back to her childhood fantasy, which sent her (mentally) off-course, inside her marrage with Bob. If she could've kept him longer she would have began to respect him more, but that will come in time...

I actually think in a weird way, Paige actually has some feelings for the protaganist. I say this because she seemed to take a liking to him initially, though it's hard to tell from her behavior. My main reason for this thought is that if her feelings for the protagonist were the same as other tinies, why is she trying so hard to hurt and punish one tiny man? Starting fires, calling the police, killing her new cute tiny man? Granted, I might be reading too much into it and Paige is just a bitch, but I do find her behavior odd..

Can I assume that there's going to be GTS material at some point? You mentioned that virtually every GTS worthy person is not around (I hope you're not thinking the old woman counts). Otherwise this would be just like the number of kiddie bug movies that have been released in the last decade or so. Other then those things, the story is interesting enough for me to keep reading.
No, it's going to follow that other movie trope: a teeenager having the place to himself and people returning unexpectedly. :)

in a word. BI-POLAR. Her personality shift from a sweet caring mother figure into this vengeful bitch disturbs me, even if she's disgusted with her stepson's behavior. This has already gone beyond teaching him a lesson, and then to ruin any chance with a girl his own age that she professed was her wish. But looking at the other comments I can see I'm in the minority. As a person more into the gentler side, I don't mind a little humiliation and violence as long as its intelligently utilized and has a point to it that usually results in a happy ending for the shrinkee. I'm going to withhold final judgement and a rating until the end.
All good points but think about this, was she ever really a sweet caring Mother figure or was she a little crazy from the start? She married a drunken ass hole in less then a year of knowing him and he dumped her for being too clingy, she argued for custody of a 15 year old boy that she had known for less than two years claiming to have been raising him with no parental experience when he was well past his developemental years, she wanted him to stay home with her rather than hang out with his friends, she is posessive and overbaring, she liked the idea of him waiting on her hand and foot, she was flattered by his suspected fetish for her feet and the thing she was most pissed about was that he wanted a giant fantasy version of her rather than the real thing. the part about her wanting him to find a girlfriend, at least in my intentions, was just her trying to rationalize her anger and showing him to the girls from his school was, on the surface, to punish him with humiliation but subconciously it was a way to make sure she could keep him to herself. after all she didn't show him off until she heard about their crush on him.
as far as going beyond teaching him a lesson is concerned, he hasn't told her how bad it hurts and she thinks hes super durable. in short, she has no idea what she is really putting him through. she is pretty much just acting out what he wrote down.
if it helps, I do have an ending in mind where they are both very happy in their own ways but Gentle is not a term I would use to discribe this story. in my defence though it is labled violent not gentle.

After giving this a full read, this is becoming one of my favorite ongoing stories. I think the relationship between him and Haley is cute and I can't wait to see where you take it. Frankly, I hope the mystery of his shrinking gets solved but that he stays shrunk and has a future with Haley. I'll keep reading!

I like when you get into the ladies' heads. It gives us some insight into what the characters are really thinking and feeling. After reading you latest chapter I would almost put Diane in the same category as her daughters. I was fooled in the first half into believing that she actually cares for Bob like a human being. But the second half shatters that, when she starts thinking of him as a toy and shoves him in her panties. I would like to see Diane withhold Bob from her daughters until they're consumed with worry before she reveils him, shames them, and negotiates some regular son and mother-in-law time. Alternately you could corrupt her as much as all the other women and have her shrink her husband. Still, I like this chapter and I look forward to more.
Thanks Riczar, I was begining to think that I'd lost you! I tried to portray Diane as a middle-aged mother, whom had innocently discovered her tiny son-in-law and really had no intention of being cruel or abusive toward him. Although, after she is forced to hide him away inside her panties, she gets a little carried-away--
-As most women would, eventually! But, she didn't really abuse her tiny captive, she was just trying to keep him hidden from her youngest daughter, which she thinks, doesn't know anything about him...yet!

Well, no help for Bob from this crazy family. The way things are going, he's probably going to end up going native, since he's probably losing faith in his fellow man.

I know Diane won't do anything that will hurt her daughters, even at Bob's expense. My hope is that she'll try to patch things up between him and Carly. Maybe a little unprofessional marriage counseling if you will. Otherwise things could get a lot worse for poor Bob. And remember Chloe now has a vial of the stuff. Who will she shrink? I can't wait to see more!
Yeah, Chloe's waiting in the wings here, we'll have to check-out what's happening with Jim and Sandra first, then we'll see what Chloe ends up doing...
I'm enjoying this story, please don't end it abruptly! Take some time off and come back to it when the muse strikes you. What I want to see is for Bob and Carly finally have that serious talk that she seems to be avoiding. I honestly think that they could make it work if she started actually listening and taking him seriously.
An idea for a plot twist occured to me reading this chapter. And might be a good way if you feel you must wrap this story up sooner rather then later. It appears that his metabolism has changed if the alcohol is any indication. The serum that shrank him is still somewhat experimental. His life span has probably been greatly reduced. Jennifer probably couldn't know that since Bob is the first human shrunk and not killed right away.
Of course I still hope for the good outcome. Will read more as you release it.

The possiblitys that you've presented could be quite true. The life span of most living creatures, that are so small like he has suddenly been reduced to, inevitably could come to light, his tiny heart would beat a whole lot faster, and his metabolism would be conciderably faster too.
I've already finished roughing out the next two chapters, but I have to polish them up a bit first before posting. You've definitely given me some fuel here! I might have to change it up slightly...

Thanks for reviewing, Riczar! Carly feels solely responsable for Bob's plight. She now realizes, that the reality of the situation is nothing like she had imagined it would be... She can't bring herself to see her husband as a person anymore, because if she allows that to happen, she'll have to fully accept what she's done to him. Her ignoring his question's, and seperating herself from him was her way of dealing with what she has done to him...
She's just being very 'over-protective', right now, but she's starting to loosen up...
It's plain to see that there isn't any happy future for Bob with Carly. Unless she snaps out of it and realizes all that's she's done and is willing to make amends. I don't see him being happy with any of the women in his life. Maybe its time to introduce someone else? If I recall correctly he's a writer. Maybe a visit from a female editor wondering why he's missed deadlines and never answers his phone? Here's to hoping things will look up for poor Bob!
Well, this is a story that I've had in mind for a long time. As in real life, nothing ever goes as planed and with Bob, he's going on an adventure that he'll never forget! Just a tip though,... things are definitely going to turn around sooooon....

A very imaginative plot! I've been following this, despite knowing that this would turn badly for the guy. I wonder if he knows that he doesn't have a prayer of winning this one. The girls all seem to be athletic, if their performance in the baseball game was any indication. I hope that the friendship between he and Angi won't allow things to get out of control when he's shrunk. Each of the girls will probably have a turn with him. I'll continue following this for now.

Thank you! I like it when an author can answer burning questions within the story. Like all the other reviewers, I didn't think my opinion of Marion could get any lower. If things continue on this trajectory, she'll be lucky if she has a quick and relatively painless death. But I would imagine an Alpha that couldn't be rehabilitated would be a failure to an Omega, so I hope that she can come to some nonlethal conclusion for Claire's sake. By allowing interbreeding, the author has tied all the races together, so they don't seem like separate species and have more similarities then differences. I look forward to more!

That was a nice chapter. It shows that Stephanie did care about her little brother, and that's probably why she suppreses her memories and feelings about him. I can't wait for the family gathering in the evening. Can't wait to see if Mom and Dad pay the prisoners a visit, and what if "Auntie" decides to pay a visit?

Thanks for answering some of our questions via storytelling. I DO have more. Are all the different sized beings a result of science, natural evolution, or alien? At first from your first chapter I assumed that Omegas were alien, but with your latest chapter with mention of that respected doctor being the ORIGINAL Omega, it makes me lean towards science experimentation. If not in this story, maybe some future one, you could present this information. I look forward to future chapters and I am curious what this secret project is.

Good story so far. Are you going to give us more info about the world this is set in? Why there are 3 sizes of humans? And how an approx. 400 ft tall Omega can be related to an approx 1 inch tall Beta? A little background and how the sizes relate to each other might help clear up some of the confusion I have. I am looking forward to reading more.
Another good chapter and some insight into Marion. I hope you will give us some historical background at some point. My curiousity is killing me. So many questions about how that socirty works, and only a trickle of info coming out. If I'm hearing it correctly, Omegas were a failrly recent phenominom. Were the young Omega women we're seeing born as Omegas or were they Alphas (or even Betas) transformed into Omegas as children? I gather that the first Omega and possibly most adult Omegas ARE transformed from smaller sized persons. Keep up the good writing. Could be another classic and if played right, another "franchise" story (i.e. the Titan series, and Carrie's Science Project series).
I'm hoping we might get to see some mixed sized couples soon. Unfortunately it appears that Zoe is crushing on Josh now and has completely forgotten about Chris. We haven't seen Kelly's preference yet, and it seems Enara might have something going on with Josh. I kind of grimaced during the last chapter when there were only guys. This story is good, but the precense of giant sized men is its only drawback in my mind. It makes it less likely that there would be mixed sized couples, as the giants will probably stick to their own unless there's a shortage of available same sized mates.
Oh boy! I think Chris might have some competition. Glad to see a continuation of this story!
Three friends get in a huge and messy accident, findind themselves stranded on an island completely uninhabited by people. There's a few species however that should be taken note of on the island, and a mysterious force surrounding that said island has left them with a big surpirse and unknowingly to them a big gift as they enter and attempt to survive their predicament.
I don't know what mechanism you used to make Natalie grow, so its hard for me to make suggestions. And I'm not sure if its just her size that's affecting her behavior or if the same catalyst that caused her growth is affecting that as well. My suggestion for now is to keep the tension between Michael and the other two. Keep the gentleness and affection between her and Aren.
Again not knowing the source of her growth, I could suggest that there's something special about the island that causes females to grow and that Natalie. You maybe you could throw in a native tribe that has had to adapt to larger women and smaller men. And maybe even turn it into a New World Order story eventually with an growth "infected"Natalie bringing the secret to growth back to civilization with her. Then Michael would have to confront the fact that even if he got away from Natalie, all women would be growing and he'd have to change his attitude or else.
