In a world where size determines what kind of person you are, what happens when an innocent person ends up the wrong size?
My thoughts are similar to Carycomic's. THe title could be a little misleading. All 3 are his "best" friend and each probably has had a crush on him. I bet all 3 will find a away to be his "master". I gather his friends are "good" people, so I'm hoping there won't be much in the way of abuse. Maybe just the awkwardness, embarassment, and struggles of an obvious power shift. I look forward to reading more.
Ah, sorry if the title seems a little misleading. To be honest that was probably the part I struggled with the most before I finally settled on that. I'm still thinking up stuff on the fly but if you're worried about abuse popping up don't be. The worst is probably a possible unaware scenario I'm considering.
One friend down, two to go. It looks like that relationship is over. Sad. I'm very sympathetic. We can only hope that he can carve out some kind of acceptable life, even as those who care for him most doubt his honesty and believe him to be some kind of closet criminal.
Glad to see you're continuing with this story. I'm suprised to see Kari volunteering to take care of him. I'd assumed she was trying to find a "nice" way of breaking up with him. I'm still anxious to see which of his friends he'll belong to. With his incredibly small size, I would imagine the prospective "owner" would need some measure of training in handling people that (as his mother demonstrates in her poor handling).
Another bad thing about the end of his relationship is that he'll probably never have any kind of relationship like that again. The closest thing to sex he'll get is being used by his new master. And hooking up with someone closer to his own size is out, since according to the rules of this world, that person would be depraved and untrustworthy, That is unless another mistake is made like with him.
I feel for the guy. Its one blow after another as his life is being taken apart one relationship at a time. I might be looking for hope where there is none, since his final destination will probably be with a complete stranger who will believe that he's the worst kind of person. But I still hope that he can find some kind of happiness in this pile of crap that his life is becoming.
Its interesting that you've introduced other innocent people that have been shrunk. I now have a theory. Maybe the shrinking is genetic? I saw a program on the human brain not too long ago. It showed that a certain area of the brain controls homicidal behavior. They showed a guy with this abnormality, but he was a well respected doctor with no criminal history. Maybe the shrinking affects those that are genetically predisposed to criminal behavior. Good work as always!
The brain is capable of all such of weird things. Look up cases of people with brain damage. There's one where a guy had a metal rod that flew threw his skull but he totally recovered, but his personality totally changed. He went from responsible to being totally lazy. So who knows. Maybe the brain has some stuff veered towards criminal activity ^^
I'm a little disappointed that none of his friends stepped up to volunteer to take care of him. I have the same feeling he has, that Alicia in England doesn't want him for companionship. The difference between he and Warren, is that Warren has a wife that will take care of him. Rob can't stay with his family and as far as I can tell, all the nice things that his friends said aren't amounting to much in the end. I hope I'm wrong and could still be in for a surprise.
A pleasant end to a story that kept us guessing who the "Best Friend" was. I'm pleasantly surprised that it turned out as well as it did and that their relationship isn't as master and pet, but as lovers. I think you did a pretty good job for your first gentle story and you only got better as the story progressed. Maybe you'll write about Alicia from England to show what she wanted to do with a micro person (not advocating for a mean giantess. Maybe she was a nice person after all).

Well, here is the story explaining and outlining what the rules are in the universe of "ToaSS". This is how the governement and culture thinks and how they came to this way of thinking. I will be following this from now on but I doubt if my previous chapters did. I apologize for that but now I have a written form of how I must depict my universe.
That's kind of depressing being a reader of (English) Rétrécissement. It makes me believe now that there isn't any hope for the guy at all. That even the people closest to him will probably turn on him, since they would have been influenced by society to treat him that way. Clarifying how the law and Shrinker organizations treat shrinkers and normals defeats many of the comments and suggestions I've made. Its becoming clear where you intend to take that story. Stuck in that house, the property (slave) of his stepsister, just barely surviving til his eventual shrinkage out of existence. I'll continue to read as long as the quality of the writing is good.
Well, I don't know for sure which direction Italykeke will take the story. He comes up with the storyline and I just rewrite it to sound better. Also you shouldn't believe that just because someone is influenced by society that they will conform to the norm. The teacher Vivian is a good example. She refuses to believe what everyone says about shrinkers and his sister, Megan, still cares for him. However, you are correct to say that he has overwhelming odds against him but you shouldn't conclude that he is therefore doomed to fail.
Samuel and his gothic girlfriend Lucretia have been stuck in a rut, but things quickly liven up when Lucy wins a night out with her favorite actor.
This story had a decent start, but has gotten weird. I guess I'm a little old fashioned and a romantic. I was hoping that Lucy was trying to experience her fantasy and rekindle her relationship at the same time. But I'm thinking that this might not end well for the boyfriend. No rating yet.

I'm glad you're following up with this story. But I'm having the same issue with this story as the last one. Also, male sgants make me cringe. I was hoping you'd focus more on Lucy and Sam. I'll keep my eye on this.

Meh, in keeping with the theme of this site, unless she grows or he shrinks, then you should keep the "normal" lovemaking to a minimum, maybe even offscreen. Good story! I want more!

You reminded me that they're planning to erase Tucker's memories at the end of the 30 days. If what Dawn said was right, it'll do him more harm then good. That and the condition of his life BEFORE Jessica. You'd think a company as advanced and thorough as Park would interview and do a psych profile on him. They'd realize that he's better off on Home with Jessica. Let's hope those subconcious memories and budding romance will get them to advocate him staying.

In one of the BFG side stories, didn't she win that pangeant? I realize that with Dawn messing with the time line, information from those stories is unrealiable. My concern about it, is that if things aren't happening as they did in THAT timeline, then there's a chance that Tucker's bad future happens. Crossing my fingers.
Yeah it was never stated that she actually won the pageant, just competed in it. I thought having her win the entire thing was too obvious and wanted to make things a little different.

I wonder why she volunteered for this experiment if she doesn't want to live with a normal size person. Maybe all she wanted was to be a giantess? I agree with others, the guy needs to get out of there and hopefully meet someone a lot nicer. Keep up the writing!

To many of the readers that commented here: Ithink Omegas have to be careful of the changes they shove down Alpha's throats. If Alpha's feel they have no control over their lives and society, then they WILL kill every Beta they can find, and launch every weapon they have againest the Omegas. So the Omegas need to make changes gradually and hopefully instill equality in future generations. Its just like how its worked in the real world. In many societies there were discriminated races. Over many generations of societal changes and education, that discrimination has diminished.
Anyway, I look forward to reading more of this series.

On how much caution the Omegas should show, it's an extremely tough balance honestly. The problem with conservative, incremental change is that it provides little real hope for those currently suffering. Hope for their children and grandchildren, perhaps, but not for themselves. It's just a tricky as hell thing.
A very good chapter. Its best to write what you enjoy. I would however like to see a continuation of the first chapter. Howard and his son, 2 refugees washed onto the doorstop of the Center. What kind of help does he get? How does he meet Abby and how do they fall in love with eachother? Nothing that needs to take a novel to explain, but a series of stories showing their progress. I would guess what was in those pages that you discarded. Till, I look forward to reading more.

The story is very interesting so far. Like other reviewers, I'm noticing alot of spelling and grammatical errors. Normally this wouldn't bother me too much, but there are enough of them that it breaks up the pacing of the story and makes me have to decipher their true meaning.
The laws on her world seem a little harsh. Her apartment and her job have both threatened to kill the human. Humans as pets must not be a usual occurence. I'm interested to see how this goes. Since the stories on this site are usually fetish in nature, will this story be heading in that direction, or will it be nonsexual?
This story needed a lot of detail in the early chapters, because that is where a lot of big events are going to take place, not to mention I'm a hugely vision driven aurthor. And to answer your question, if you hang with the story for a few more chapters some feitsh will start to surface.
