Summary:

Lyn, Federation pilot of the exploration vessel Artemis, was in the midst of travelling out in space when her ship's AI picked up a distress beacon hinting at possible alien life. Curious, she goes to investigate and discovers an interesting new form of life.


Second officially released story. Was able to finish it thanks to finding encouragement, and now I feel tempted to push forward with ideas for additional chapters and make them into something.
