Summary:

This Series follows the account of the Inanimate object called the Penny. "It literally is a penny though."

A Short History.

Pennies, worthless pieces of coinage not even worth picking up. Some find them lucky, some throw them into the trash, and most pass them by. This is a story about a Lone Penny which does not follow the normal rules, a penny which has acquired magic properties. Yes this penny is cursed, and anyone unlucky enough to pick it up, will only pray they don't utter the magic word. "Lucky." This penny is sick of hearing, "Just keep the change", from now on you will respect The Penny.

1. The Penny is a Cursed shiny penny which finds its way into the lives of many people. Upon the magic word "Lucky." The holder of the penny becomes one with whatever object is in his hand opposite that of The Penny.

2. Once the person has merged with the object, or living thing they held in their hand, the penny falls from its last location to the ground.

3. If the user comes back into contact with the penny, the person will unmerge with whatever thing they have merged with.

4. If one was holding a container in the opposite hand while speaking the magic words, then the penny might fuse them with the jars contents instead. "Authors discretion."

5. If the living thing was damaged while occupied, then the merged person will share that experience, if a person dies while merged with something than they also die.

6. A person who fuses with a inanimate object or living thing, will retain all senses of smell, hearing, sight, and pain. An inanimate object however cannot do anything.

7. An inanimate object is only considered alive if it's still useful, in this case if you merge with a cookie, or gasoline, and the cookie is eaten or the gasoline burned up, you are no longer useful, and thus the item is considered dead.

8. If the item is considered not useful and is thrown out, but another finds use in it, then the person inside will change to meet this person's form of usefulness. Example, you merge with a sheet and rip, and then thrown out. At this point you slowly die. If then someone finds the sheet and then turns it into a new dress, your alive again, but since you changed, the penny will no longer recognize your original self, and you will be stuck until you die. "Whether or not a person has changed too much is also the authors discretion."

9. The penny is never retained or kept by anyone indefinitely, its will on the user makes them lose or discard it, allowing it to find more poor souls. Part of the curse, it's similar to J. R. R. Tolkien's Ring which wishes to return to Sauron.
