Upon finishing the story I came to a conclusion that the Authors deserve another review, especially having in mind the critical nature of the previous one. Rest assured, I was left fully satisfied. Although your story didn't describe in detail how the shrinking impacted the whole population, it did tell an intimate tale about a beautiful, fairy-tale-like relationship between two people. Should the epilogue be treated as an indicator, the future of this world's shrunken inhabitants looks bleak and Connor's case seems like a droplet of hope in a sea of misery.
I hope to read more from you in the future, explore the world you have created and maybe one day revisit Amber and Connor.
I think the 9/10 rating does not do justice to your story so...

A good story, but a little bit too fast-paced for my liking. Let me be more specific: the beginning was excellent, but I feel as if you had wanted to move to 'good stuff' too quickly. As a result, some scenes are cut rather abruptly and news announcements come in the most convenient moments to propel the plot (it reminded me of a recently watched 'A Series of Unfortunate Events', but there it highlighted the series' specific narration). Give your characters a little more time, explore their thoughts, emotions and surroundings - all those little things that make the story flow more smoothely and make the world more immersive.
'A Whole New Perspective' shows tremendous amounts of potential, I can see it becoming one of the gems of this site. As of today though, it is not yet polished.

Very much appreciated this is our first attempt at doing a story so we are just trying to have fun with it. That's not to say that we won't come back to this universe and explore it more though in a seperate story. We only had 7 or 8 chapters planned and for this it's only focusing on Amber and Connor's point of view, their relationship with each other, and how they deal with their new lives. We have a new character in the works as of right now so perhaps in the future we can do a side story around her and explore the universe more thoroughly.
