Joining the ‘I was there crew’.
Love the dynamic between Gilah and Jason, as well as the disparity between their ideas of how this is going to go down. Both of them are so adorable and a cute obsessive giantess is a wonderful thing.
Not to say that Gilah isn’t also terrifying. She’s portrayed as a sheer force of nature, an eldritch being of unfathomable means and desires. But maybe those desires are actually much more relatable than anyone, including Jason, would have expected.
I would love to see this continue, meeting the friends and parents on both sides, especially Gilah’s could be a lot of fun. Especially if Jason’s brother, famed shark catcher, gets to meet some of Gilah’s friends.

I shall stake my claim in "being there" during the ... uh ... brainstorming sessions on the Discord.
Gilah is majestically portrayed in her full glory. It's absolutely mind-blowing that Jason isn't even taller than her eyes. He must be able to fit on a finger of hers! You've really lavished this shark girl with powerful descriptors, giving us not just a sense of scale, but the sheer amount of might just at her fingertips. She's a force of nature alright.
Jason works rather well as the tiny. He's thoughtful, yet daring all the same. Indeed, he's scored the biggest catch of them all.
Perhaps the best moment of the story was when Gilah revealed that she was dead set on making Jason her mate. It's abs-olutely adorable seeing this Godzilla-tier shark girl get some romantic fluster.
My only gripe is, I'd aim for some more six-pack action, but that's more in the realm of personal taste. For a story based around some messing around in Discord, this turned out far better than I could have even imagined. Heck, even without that context, this is one of the best stories I've read recently.
