This is a commissioned novel I wrote a few years ago about a young aspiring pokemon trainer named Rachel who finds a little salazzle pokemon and captures it. She decides to name the salazzle "Susie," and, pretty soon, it becomes clear that Susie has QUITE the appetite...and she's starting to get bigger...and bigger. And with her increased size, Rachel notices that Susie starts to get rather...gassy.

The most terrifying of the changes, were giants emerging from humanity's remnants, eager to hunt all they deemed lesser as food and roam the world. Where there was once billions of people, nations with unique cultures, tense but stable lines dividing it all, now stands a few civilizations trying to hold on and fight off what could eventually become our extinction. There are those who say humanity was at the top of the world, though it wasn't true, we now find ourselves falling further down the long hole to the bottom of the barrel.
