The world of Giathium, an anime-inspired fantasy world, the world of big and small, is separated into two continents split by a vast, deep, yet treacherous ocean. Norms, assumed to be natives of this world in the land of Lihyrst, believe they were the first creation of this world by the Goddess they so fervently worship. Meanwhile, Gicadians, a giant, woman-dominated society compared to Norms, populate the other half of the world of Giathium as it fits their own scale, their own way of life in the land of Gicadia. Once, before the two sides were at war, it was hardly believed that Norms would fight against those who stood no more than three hundred feet tall. Yet, it still has happened in modern times even when the war had ceased eons ago, due to these giganticness beings that pick on the Norm territories. Many Norms currently believe they have not lived in harmony ever since the new ruler came into power. Times have changed ever since the new ruler, Eleanor, the Empress of Gicadia, house at the capital of Gicadia, took over due to the assassination of her own mother. Many conspiracies have said that her own daughter Eleanor, committed the act, yet no evidence had been provided. Since then, many were too scared to speak against it due to her tyrant nature as Gicadia shifts its views to Norms.

Edward's task to attend a dinner with the Empress at the capital of Gicadia as an Ambassador is to ease any tensions or conflicts that he, as a Norm, and the Gicadians may have; good relations are important. Yet, things have gone sour in an instant. Edward and his guards had been framed. Will the Empress show mercy? Or will they be put through a strict interrogation? Turns out, she will have someone else do it for her: a loyal maid. Read to find out what might happen to such as a Norm like himself. . .

◈ This is a revised entry to my fantasy world-building idea, and as always, I am rather a 'limitless' writer for what I can do for themes. Be warned, as this story will most certainly, in fact, include disturbing themes such as non-consensual acts and potentially other extreme themes. This is a series that I don't intend to hold back on when it comes to these topics.

A Size Change Fantasy RPG Story of EPIC Proportions!

A man wakes up shrunken in his bed, he decides it is best to try and find his sister to help him. The only problem is that he is tiny and she is deep asleep, plus they have a slightly wicked stepmother...

In this world, one in five people will shrink.

A genetic disruption that strikes without warning between the ages of one and twenty-one, compressing a human body over three to five weeks to a terminal height of two to ten inches. There is no cure, no reversal, only the after.

Society has adapted, there are heated bus stops at ankle height, adaptive housing companies, tiny furniture and tinier phones. There are laws, fines for accidental crushing, registries, county caseworkers with clipboards and pamphlets featuring sunrises. 

There are also shot glasses with people inside them, stores that sell them by the inch. A world that has built infrastructure for the small and cruelty for the small in equal measure, and that sees no contradiction between the two.

Liam Banister is twenty-seven years oldm he is shy, kind, and shorter than he'd like to be, as well he is in love with Agnes, a literature PhD student who is brilliant, possessive, and tender in ways she'd never admit. They've been together four years, sharing everything, from a bed, to meals, as well for a silence, the practiced silence of a man who knows what his girlfriend does with shrunken people and has chosen, every day, for four years, not to look.

But what happens when the person you love becomes the size of the things you consumes?

Whole and Alive is a story about love at a different scale. About the distance between care and control, between holding someone and caging them, between the world as it is and the world as it should be. It is explicit, unflinching, and tender in the places you least expect. It is about two people who were the same height when they fell in love and who will never be the same height again, and the question of whether the love survives the measurement.
