Summary:

This story takes place in an alternate reality where an ancient civilization employs magic and potions in its everyday lives. The Metzakal Ritual is at the heart of the Huhmtakil Culture. Every year all men at the age of 18 are gathered to display their prowess and engage in a fighting competition to determine the strongest. Those deemed worthy become warriors and are given the right to mate with the most beautiful maidens. Those that don’t make it are assigned other tasks. Some, in accordance with religious beliefs, are shrunk and devoured by the maidens. This story follows Jumko as he gets ready for the most important week of his life.

Date: January 18 2016 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1: The Forbidden Act

Well, this story's deffinitely up there as one of my all time favorites so far with the character development you see. My only lament is that Jumko never got to call Yuli out on how much of a hypocrite she was being, though that was probably smart since that didn't go too well with Nadia. I really hope he gets thrown a bone since everything came crashing down on him at once after a freak occurence. And when he understandably protests what is (fetish aside) a pretty ghastly death, then he was pretty much tortured until he wanted to kill himself. But again great story, I found it impossible to stop reading.

Hmm, so I guess Sersei wasn't exactly kidding when she mentioned an obligation to their mother, with her planning to sell him out like that from the begining. And man, gotta feel for the guy, I mean if you wanted a way to break a guy down look no further. I'm kinda hoping Olivier gets to play hero eventually but for now, the fun starts.

Date: December 03 2016 Title: Chapter 26: A Call from Out of the Blue

Wow it completely slipped my mind that Oliver's mom could be in on it too. I wonder how much influence she had (if any) on his choice to go to a college with a chapter of that particular sorority. And it looks like we might get some light shed on what kind of rumors are floating around campus due to the fates of people that get involed with the girls. I've always enjoyed the parts where the character starts to dig deeper into the mystery (and himself into the hole) the most so I have a feeling I'm really forward to the coming weeks.

It would seem like the highly coveted wrsitbands are only going out to those who may have some matrilineal connection to the sorority. The question is can Oliver put it together before it's too late? Could be entertaining

Was waiting til I'd get to see Vesper's toys in action and I'm anxious to see in full what role the vixen herself plays in all this.

On a more serious note, really not getting a good feeling about the future of our heroes. Cam seems to have already started to accept his fate. I feel like even if oliver miraculously escapes, he wouldn't be too quick to join him. I'd really love to see them give their mothers a boot to the... er, I mean piece of their mind at the conclusion of this but I don't see it happening.
