A commendable continuation.  You're easily one of the most promising new writers I've seen appearing on the "most recent" page of late.  Your writing skills are noticeably a cut above a lot of the riffraff that shows up on the site.  The story is progressing slowly, which I admit has its drawbacks, but your craft is strong enough that you can definitely get away with it.  It takes a lot of restraint to write a story like this without leaping headlong into the action practically before anyone speaks.  From a technical standpoint, while I would perhaps advise you to spice things up a little with some action, or at least enough to whet reader appetites, you're a good enough writer that you deserve a healthy benefit of the doubt for the direction you're heading with this.  What you have here is very well-constructed and certainly very enjoyable.  Keep it up!

Much appreciated!  Especially from one of my absolute favorite authors on the whole site.

For me, the journey is at least as good as the destination, in terms of seeing the characters' relationships slowly evolving, and building up more and more sexual tension while saving the best for last.  So yeah, I definitely drag things out way more than most authors.  But hopefully over time the scenes themselves will become more and more enjoyable and intense while at the same time building up a sense of anticipation for even better things to follow.

And you're right ... it takes a lot of restraint sometimes, having kickass ideas planned out for future scenes but often forcing myself to hold off for weeks until I get there in the story.  It definitely motivates me to keep writing though :).

Don't let impatient reviews getcha down.  The fun part about this place is that because it's all free content, you've got no obligation to work at anyone's pace but your own.  Although we post stories publically to let others see and hear their critiques, sometimes people don't get that their remarks should be on the quality of the content rather than the speed of deliverance.  There are audiences for every taste, and your patient approach here obviously has its fair share of fans.  So, keep on going at your own meticulous leisure.  It would be a better site if more people put as much time as you do into cleaning up their writing.

As far as your difficulty getting chapters to edit properly, I'm at a loss.  Personally, I never have problems with it.  Even though I'm an admin, I'm mostly just the plagiarism police, while Asukafan2001 is the one making the bigger technical adjustments.

Regardless, keep on writing and posting at your own pace, and above all else enjoy the process.

This being a story of substantial size, I unfortunately haven't been around the site often enough to keep up, but the segments I've read, including this new one, were very well done.  You've clearly put a lot of effort into making something with a lot of depth here.  It's rare to see slow-shrink macro stories that actually have the restraint to tell a true slow-shrinking/growing story (or in your case, both) over time to really get into the heads of the characters and deliver a solid sense of pathos.  Plus, the interactions between your characters are quite sexy at times.  Well done.

Thanks, I figured you had lost interests but glad that's not the case.  Yep, this story's a long one alright, just realized it's on the top-ten longest stories list now :O.  Yeah, this story was quite an undertaking, with a lot of time put into it including rewrites and things like that.  It was exhausting, but fun.  And I'm glad to see it paid off.

Yeah, you can look for future stories to revolve around different sorts of family dynamics, one of them being sibling rivalries and that kind of thing.

I appreciate the plug in your story note.  Anyway, per your request, I gave your story a look.

I applaud your choice of genre; I tend to regard the fantasy, plot-driven stories as the most difficult to write, since you actually have to stay more conscious of potential plot holes and character consistency even more than in purely fetish-oriented tales, and you seem to be doing a fine job of it so far.  Your characters are reasonably life-like considering their short development time so far in just a few chapters, and your dialogue fits with the setting.  The above-average vocab makes the prose a little more pleasant to read, as well.

The main suggestion I'd give is to watch your use of heavy personal description, ie in the prologue when you describe your giantess character.  Particularly in a story like this, given POV-style, it becomes more important to maintain a voice to avoid pulling the reader out, and so that section felt a little out of place compared to what a real person would use in speech; try weaving those bits of description in with the passing narrative instead.  Again, a tiny gripe; just something to perhaps think about in future chapters.  Good luck!

Per request, here I am again.  I like most of what I see.  It ought to be noted that I normally will lean a little more toward stories with heavier action, but I am able to recognize a story done well even if it's not the genre I go for first.  Note that I'm in no way suggesting you add more action all of a sudden, because I don't think it would fit your world too well.  I myself have tried this type of story a couple times and know it can be tough, so kudos.

I have to give you props for your maintenance of a formal speech style in your characters.  Normally, if a writer starts up in a style like that, they will at some point drop the ball and it can be much more jarring than if they hadn't done it at all.  However, you've managed to keep it up.  It won't be for everyone, but I think it fits your story well and gives the world authenticity.  You have a nice variety of vocabulary and sentence structures that keeps anything from feeling stale.  Additionally, you have some nice restraint in your fetish content; it feels much more like a story than some of the more pornographic works around.  Both have their audiences, of course, but for a fantasy story such as this, going for understatement and subtetly like you have will get you more mileage.

I'll admit the alternating (sort of) between Nami's present with the giantess, as well as flashbacks to her development, can feel a little choppy.  I'm not saying don't do it, it just might be good to make clearer distinctions, or have longer segments of one or the other before switching back.

Just my two cents.  Keep it up!

You've struck a good balance on this story.  It's a fairly common fantasy with a more unique twist on it because you're doing a great job of integrating psychological elements into the story to really get the reader into the head of your protagonist.  Your descriptions are simple but not overly wordy, and your dialogue has some kick to it.  One suggestion I might make is finding a way to restructure your story in the future so that alternate perspective recaps aren't necessary, as these have a tendency to be a bit jarring in stories like this. Nevertheless, a very good piece of work here.  I'm enjoying it.

Thanks for your review and rating. I have some questions here and there about what you mean ("descriptions are simple but not overly wordy"), but I get the gist of it. Much appreciated.

Personal confession: I'm a great fan of jarring digressions and detours in a narrative, whether they're done for humor (you can learn lots from Tristram Shandy or any Dickens novel about how to entertain with unnecessary details and gratuitous asides), or whether they're done in a kind of reflective, philosophical manner. The thing in Chapter 2, here, can be skipped over without affecting the plot--I included it, clumsily, in order to include some deeper character study (of Holly) that would not have happened in narrative time.

You're most likely right that that's not what readers are looking for (realized that in the course of writing my last story, set in the 1830s, as readers tended to skip over the chapters without fetish content).
