Wow, I really felt you were getting back into this story better than the last chapter.   I was very engaged with Jennifer's relationship with Kara.   I felt bad that no one is believing Soren, but I believe him!   I see the foreshadowing that a feast is going to be had of the surrounding army, but the big question in my mind is will Sarah partake when seeing Jennifer do it.... I am on the edge of my seat about this.

Anyway, I want one!  How do I get my own mimic!

I know this one was commissioned but it was such fun I was wondering if you might consider doing more about this kind of monstergirl, in other stories, or even adding to this one at some point.

The other one I loved was tempting the troll.  I kept seeing Ren&Stimpy and the temptation to press the nice shiny red history eraser button!   Very funny that the troll couldn't resist the curiosity.

Note that I would recommend reading at least 3 chapters, ideally read the current chapters of the main story first. But 3 chapters is a good amount needed for this. Really, I think most of it can be understood without the main story though, for those that would simply like to read this.

So I think this is an interesting idea but I have some comments.

1) The Goddess needs to be fleshed out some more.   How tall is she?  What are her little reactions as she gives the Giant her commands.   Maybe emotions on her face, maybe some physical reactions. 

2) The story is a bit short, I think you could lengthen it some more by describing more backstory, both for the Giant and the Goddess.  How did she find him?   What drew her to him?  Is she a native to this world, or did she come from somewhere else?   Also adding in more details, how did she end the city exactly?  Was it her entire foot, just her pinky toe?  Was it on purpose as a demonstration to the Giant how much more powerful she was?

3) Maybe an antagonist would be interesting to the story.  Does the Goddess or the Giant have a rival?    Would the Goddess defend our Hero giant with force?   If the Goddess has a rival would the rival try to steal the Giant from her?


Just some ideas... hopefully helpful to you.

Wow, after reading this last chapter I have to double down on my negative impressions of Melissa.  I have to say a lot of the analysis the demons had on her personality were spot on.    

So she's in New York where literally millions of people worship her, and 9 people bother her so much because they cause a little itch.  Oh cry me a river.   Justifying killing them for that reason is ridiculous.   A sign of real megalomania.

I am very excited she was caught by her husband finally, for eating people.   It's really disgusting that she does that as a goddess, and I hope there are consequences with her husband for this.  He's been too much of a suckup so far in the story.

I am really surprised that humans don't wonder if she set up the whole times square thing to appear to be more powerful to everyone else.    She could have faked the entire experience, for all the humans know.

I really liked the demons.    I liked their agency in the story,  I liked their larger perspective on how the gods were behaving.    I am hoping we see more challenges from other demons in the future.

Now my only question is when will the gods figure out there is a threat to Earth itself.   That will be interesting to see how you work that in.  Somehow I doubt Melissa will share this information with the other 3 gods, so they will most likely be at a disadvantage, but who knows, maybe Melissa will be less egotistical for once and share the info.

Personally I hope Brad figures it out!  He's into video games, and so space invaders and other space based game themes might occur to him.  Space the Final Frontier... Go Brad!

Aww, Melissa ain’t bad. She’s a goddess and has, in my opinion, pretty low-key demands compared to other gods in myth. She always gives people one last chance to recant their beliefs before she consumes them; also, she’s giving Vanessa a huge chance, considering she betrayed Melissa’s son. Melissa is confident and takes the role of leader seriously. So, she comes off strong, but again, I think she’s restraining herself greatly. Any other mortal turned god could’ve turned earth into a dystopian nightmare. Life on this earth is normal mostly, all you gotta do is worship the new gods :)

I liked Melissa initially until she ate all those people on the boat.  I think a God/Goddess needs to give people time to come around, even if it takes decades.   I think that is why the system of jailing people for such long periods of time exists.   If there is even a small chance of redemption over their lifetime of being jailed is possible, then that is the reason to do it.   Also, I don't like that Melissa is not really treating her husband as a true partner in her life.   She is acting behind his back, and keeping secrets.   A true marriage just doesn't do that kind of stuff.


Hailee is just to concerned over that guy she likes, and is too obsessed with him.   She seems nice, but doesn't really seem open to other people who might really love her like she wants be loved.

Alexendra is strange because she likes to be nice, but she also likes to crush cities.   I guess she is Hedonistic too.

Brad is pretty relatable as a guy who wanted to do all of the god stuff, and then realized he should just be himself.  I guess even though I would want to worship a woman, I think I would be on team Brad given what I have seen so far.   Weird.

Haha, yea, you’re pretty spot on with each god. I probably should’ve asked this question much later—after discovering more about the world and who these gods really are. I understand how Melissa’s actions may seem horrible at the moment, but she’s a product of being a goddess. Really interesting you’re on Team Brad. Nothing wrong with that, but I think I got my work cutout for me to really show who these goddesses are. :)

Somehow I get the impression that Alexandra knows every single person that she steps on, and that each and every one of them deserves it in some way.  It wouldn't surprise me if deserving people somehow manage to not be crushed during her rampages.  Just my thought on the topic of her.   I think she is hiding her purposeful destructive nature just to generate the fear/worship from everyone else.

Thank you! Fantasy stuff is just a bunch of fun to write, especially for quick one-shots like these, and as I said in a previous response, the genre is a perfect fit for size smut. Sci-fi's great too; I should probably write more intergalactic stuff, hmmm.

I'm enjoying the story so far.   But I would like to point out that there are a lot of repetitive phrases used over and over again such as

"I'm just getting started" or "We're just getting started" , etc.

Just be aware that you should try to think of other ways to express these sorts of repetitive sentiments.
