The two of us made a beeline for the exit nearest to where Sarah parked.  Unfortunately, the extended shopping trip had taken us to the exact opposite side of the mall, and it was going to take a while for us to get back there.  Sarah impatiently forced her way through the crowd, making a path for herself driven by her eagerness to get home and pin me beneath her.  I followed in the gap she made, doing my best to keep up, but since I was now closer to her knees than her waist I had to actually sprint to stay close to her.

Everyone who could walk on their own towered over me, and I had yet to see someone not at least head and shoulders taller.  I was extremely grateful for the wake she left behind, since all eyes were drawn to the giant woman barreling forward.  It was unlikely that anyone would have noticed me without her, but now it was certain nobody would until they kneed me in the face.  With them giving her a wide berth or being shoved aside, however, I was free to follow the twin beacons of Sarah’s knees while she guided me toward her like a lighthouse.

We were about to turn the last corner and be on our way when suddenly a voice called above the din, “Hey, Sarah!”  She stopped and I just avoided running into her, coming to a stop beside her right leg.  Sarah waved in the voice’s direction, and I looked to see if I could spot who had called out to her.  They were easy enough to see since the crush of people seemed to part before them without any effort on their part.  To my dismay it was Amber and Michelle, the last two people I wanted to see right now.  We had managed to avoid them for the whole trip only for them to catch us at the last minute.

Michelle was the more visible of the two since she was a little taller and the straight, bleach blond hair down to her waist stood out in the crowd.  She was undeniably pretty, with lively blue eyes and rounded eyebrows, and her full lips worked with her high cheekbones to give her dimples even when she was not smiling.  A beauty mark below her lips stood out against the light skin of her pointed chin, and she had a compact, rounded nose.  Her tight, red shirt plunged a little too far, and her gray skirt was pulled high, making her toned legs look even longer, leaving a long expanse of taut flesh between it and her simple yet fashionable black flats.

Amber carried herself with the confidence of a woman who knew she could get anything she wanted, her dark red hair falling so that it framed her face and bounced with each step.  Her brown eyes were soft and enticing to people who were not yet acquainted with her, and her straight eyebrows were thin enough to let you focus on the rest of her face.  Round, rosy cheeks went great with her small pink lips, with a button nose right in the middle.  Though her red top was buttoned its shade matched Michelle’s, and her checkered black-and-white skirt flared just enough to keep things interesting.  At the bottom of her porcelain legs were black high-heeled boots, pounding against the tile as she strode confidently forward.

They had both been a little taller than me for as long as I could remember, but that was hardly unusual; most people my age were. The running joke was that I was beneath them, though when she caught me alone Michelle had always spent a few seconds staring down at me, saying that she did it to make me feel small.  Now, however, they were gigantic.  Amber had only been a little taller than me and now I was only partway up her thighs, and Michelle’s skirt was so short my head did not even reach it.  Each of them had shown up in my dreams several times, alone or together, and made them particularly terrifying as they cruelly toyed with me before either smashing or devouring me.  Them being giantesses was not something I would wish on my worst enemy – they were the closest thing I had to that, funnily enough – and now I was about to experience it first-hand.

“I thought that was you!” Amber said when the pair got closer.  The two stayed close together, standing in front of Sarah and engaging her, knowing she was too polite to walk away.  “What’re you doing here?” Amber asked with a fake smile, reaching out and tapping Sarah on the arm.

“Shopping,” Sarah answered, crossing her arms and leaning heavily on one leg.  She may have been too polite to leave, but if she made her body language stand-offish and gave the shortest answers possible, they might take the hint and walk off.

“What a coincidence, so are we!” Amber replied as if that had not been obvious.  “Wow, you’ve really gotten tall since we last hung out!”

“That’s because the last time we ‘hung out’ was six years ago when we got grouped up for a project.”  Sarah had never been shy about this sort of thing, and Amber had picked the absolute worst time to hold her up by pretending to be friends.

“I know, it really has been too long!”  Normally I would applaud Amber’s enthusiasm for this charade since it was making Sarah very uncomfortable, but this time it was inconveniencing me too.  “And I think it’s so nice of you to bring your little brother along, I didn’t even know you had one!”

“Well, you only talk to me when you want something, so why would you?”  Amber was proving herself remarkably bad at taking hints and kept the fake smile stuck on her face.  I was simply glad that, although they had finally noticed me, they did not seem to care.

As soon as I thought it, that came to an end.  Michelle looked away from Sarah and down to me, then took a step so the tips of her shoes almost touched mine.  “Hey there little guy!” she said, sliding her hands down her legs until they rested on her knees.  She squatted on her heels, bouncing before she settled, and crossed her arms over her kneecaps.  Though she had tried to come down to my level I still had to look up at her.  At least her smile was more genuine than Amber’s, and I could tell from her eyes she wasn’t trying to be mean.  “My name’s Michelle, I’m Sarah’s friend!  What’s yo-“

Michelle stopped mid-sentence and dropped the smile.  “Hey, this isn’t her brother!” she exclaimed.  “It’s her weird little friend from school!”  Suddenly she became very angry, as though I had played some part in the deception, and stood again.  I gaped up at her while she glared back at me and crossed her arms under her chest.

That was enough to get Amber’s attention.  She rushed over to take Michelle’s place, the heels of her boots clicking on the tile.  I looked over at her in shock, unaccustomed to having two enormous women giving me their full attention.  “You’re right, it is!” she practically shouted with a little giggle.  Her voice got quieter when she asked, “Do you remember him being this short?”

“Totally!” Michelle answered.  “We always said he was ‘beneath our notice’ for a reason, right?  “It’s because he’s, like, tiny!”  With her friend joining in Michelle became a lot happier, but more emboldened to be mean.  “Why are you always hanging out with Sarah?  Are you hoping she’ll, like, let you see up her skirt?”

“Hey, leave my boyfriend alone!” Sarah objected.  Waiting for them to get bored and leave was no longer an option now that they had a target for ridicule, and she wanted to stop it before it got out of hand.

“Oho, did you hear that?” Amber exclaimed.  “He’s her boyfriend!  The two freaks are dating, that’s totally adorable!”

“I know!”  Michelle leaned over so that her face loomed mere inches from mine.  I wanted to run, but the manic look in her blue eyes told me she was capable of anything.  When she was close enough she asked in a low voice, “So, like, how does it work?  Does she just pick you up and jam you in there, or is there, like, a step ladder involved?”

“Mind your damn business!” Sarah interjected, but the pair was having too much fun.

“Yeah, aren’t you worried she’ll crush you?” Amber butt in.  “Just walking around, she could totally squash you like a bug.”

“Like, we could too!” Michelle exclaimed.  “Look at him, he’s, like, sooo tiny!”

“He totally is!  Maybe we should start paying attention to him so that we don’t step on him.”

“Or so that, like, we can!  Can you, like, imagine the sound he’d make when I, like, squish him like an insect?  Crunch!”  The two started laughing uproariously, and I only now noticed they had only gotten larger during this.

“Mommy, there he is!  Can I go talk to him?”  came a voice from behind me.  I spun around and saw Sam pointing at me from near a bench and my blood chilled.

“Okay honey.  If you apologize to him I’ll unground you, too.”  An overjoyed Sam came bounding toward me, much too quickly for me to run away.

As Sam drew closer I realized that she was terrifyingly huge now, and I was only about as tall as her legs.  She managed to stop before running into me and took a spot between me and the door, forming a triangle with Amber and Michelle.  I was surrounded by two bullies and a girl well on her way, all of which towered over me in ways I never would have though.

“Hi.”  Sam drew herself up in front of me, and I stared up at her looking for any of that child-like joy people were always talking about.  If there was any it was in the form of malice, the same sort she might have when frying ants with a magnifying glass.  “You got a lot smaller, I must look gigantic to you now!”  I said nothing and swallowed, hoping my fear would go down with the saliva.  If anything she was understating it.

“Look at that!” Michelle exclaimed through even harder laughter.  “He’s, like, half the size of a child!”

“And he’s totally scared of her!” Amber joined in.  They were laughing so hard they were crying now, but I kept my eyes on Sam.  She was scariest because she wasn’t laughing.

Suddenly Sam surged forward and jammed her hands under my arms, picking me up off the ground.  She lifted me in front of her face and leaned in threateningly.  “I’m supposed to apologize to you, but I won’t.  You were rude to me just because I’m a kid, but I’m a kid who’s bigger than you!”

“Yeah, tell him!”  Michelle interjected.  “Like, fuck him up, little girl!”

Sam shook me back and forth in her surprisingly tight grip, then she leaned in close enough for me to feel her breath.  “You’re tiny.”  I never expected two words from a child to be so menacing, but I also never thought one would tower over me.  “You’re like a bug to me, so I’m gonna crush you like one.”

“I like this kid!” Amber chimed in.

Sam dropped me and I fell to the floor, landing in a heap.  I quickly scrambled to my feet, only to be horrified.  She was still glaring down at me, but now she was smiling.  Looking up, I saw that her legs alone were taller than me, and I feared it would not stop there.

“Fee fi fo fum,” Sam proclaimed, taking a step forward.  Her knee hit my stomach and drove me back into Michelle’s shapely legs.  I spun around just in time for her to nudge me into Amber by striking me on the shoulder with her knee.  It was hard for me to look up at them, both because of the strain involved and the feeling of dread it caused me.  If I kept shrinking like this one of them was sure to make good on their promises.

One of Sarah’s enormous legs forced its way into the triangle, her knee breaking through at my head level.  She pushed Sam and Amber out of my way and leaned over, scooping me off the ground with one arm.  Sarah held me to her chest and kept walking, stepping around Sam and shielding me from Michelle.  They jeered after us but Sarah kept walking, paying them no attention.

Sarah looked down at me in her arms and sighed.  “I’m sorry I had to do that,” she said.  Her voice sounded a little deeper, and I doubted it was due to arousal.  “I know you don’t want me fighting your battles for you, but that was about to get ugly.”

“I know,” I replied, then leaned up to kiss Sarah on the chin.  “I’m glad you stepped in when you did, that girl’s insane, and…” I faltered.  “I know I’m getting to the point where I can’t really protect myself.”

“Hey, don’t sweat it,” she said, cupping my chin with a finger.  “You shouldn’t have to, there is absolutely no reason for anyone to treat you like that.  And when we get home we can stay there the rest of the weekend while you shrink in safety and have our fun.”  Sarah paused.  “You still want to, right?  Because if you’re too scared now I understand.”

I wrapped my arms around as much of Sarah’s chest as I could.  “With you?  Of course I do,” I reassured her.  “I’ve dreamed of you being a giantess for too long to let something like that turn me off it.  Besides, I know that when you step on me, you won’t squish me.”

Sarah leaned in and gave me a peck on the lips.  “Thanks for trusting me,” she said, smiling.  She shifted me in her arms and pulled open her car door, then set me on the ground beside her.  I climbed into the car while she went to put the stuff in the trunk, then climbed onto the seat.  My legs no longer dangled above the floor: instead they barely even reached the edge.

Sarah got in her side and pushed the seat back a little more, then smiled at me.  “Don’t worry, I’ll drive carefully this time, too,” she said.  When she had finished backing out she looked down at me again.  “You know, your voice is getting higher too now.”

“And yours is getting deeper.”

She smirked.  “Won’t be long until I really am like a giantess to you then, is it?” she asked, then put the car in gear and drove us home.
