Author's Chapter Notes:

Definitely a set up chapter that’ll lay some groundwork for this story.  Hope you enjoy!

“Right this way, if you’ll follow me.  Mr. Watkins is waiting for you,” the woman said, trying her best to sound polite and interested.  She could hear the two women murmuring between themselves behind her, and tried her best to eavesdrop on their conversation.

“This estate is really beautiful,” Erin said, taking in the expansive mansion she was in.

“Oh yeah, nicest house I’ve ever been in,” Marie responded with a laugh, making sure to keep pace with the woman walking in front of them.

“You’ve got a 3-D printer and size altering technology,” Erin said in a whisper.  “How come you haven’t made a tiny mansion yet?  There’s literally no reason not to!”

Marie gave her best friend a casual shrug.  “Honestly, no idea.  I guess I just never thought about it.”

“Missed opportunities!  I’d love to stay in a tiny mansion in your room!” Erin teased.

“I’ll try not to eat it,” Marie laughed, knowing that would get Erin’s heart racing.

The two women continued to whisper back and forth, before the voice of the assistant cut them off.  “Right this way,” she said, opening a door and holding it for Marie and Erin.

Marie was getting a vibe from this woman that she didn’t exactly like.  The woman appeared to be about thirty years old, maybe a year or two older than Marie, but just had a fake plastic smile that really made Marie comfortable.

“Come on in,” an excited male voice called out from inside the room.  Erin and Marie both stepped forward into the decedent meeting room.  A long table with about twelve chairs was set up, yet there was only one other person in the room.  That had to be Peter Watkins.

“Have a seat,” the gentleman said, pulling a chair back right next to his, allowing Erin to sit.

“Mr. Watkins, do you need any….” the woman started to say.

“No Alena, I think we’re good here,” he said, as she sighed and walked out of the room.  “Did Ms. Martinez give you the tour?” he laughed, sitting down across from Marie and Erin.  “Oh I’m sorry, where are my manners?  Peter Watkins, nice to meet you,” he smiled warmly, extending his hand.

“Marie Williams.”

“Erin Birch.”

The girls each responded.  They exchanged pleasantries and for once, Marie was feeling everything was finally going their way.

Several weeks ago, Marie had quit her job and decided to bet on herself.  The model city had become a bit of a passion project for her, and she had been doing all she could to reach out with investors.  Peter was the first actual investor to take a meeting with her.

In preparation for this meeting, Marie had done a ton of research on the guy.  She knew he was a CEO of a pretty large technology company, had a strong interest in development and philanthropy, and was a certified billionaire.  In her mind, he was the perfect choice to meet with.

“So, let’s see these schematics,” Peter said, clearly interested in what these two young women were proposing to him.  He watched as the heavier, mixed race woman reached into her bag and pulled out a set of blueprints, passing them across the table to him.

Minutes passed as Peter’s eyes darted back and forth, analyzing every small detail.  “So, this is possible?” he asked.  “You think we can create a miniature city and make money off of it?”

Marie grinned.  “I do!  I’ve been using a 3-D printer to make buildings, roads, parks, honestly everything we would need.”

“Good, good.  And you’ve had no issues with that?” he asked.

“Nothing a hired security guard couldn’t handle,” Marie said.  She saw Peter raise an eyebrow in concern so continued to address it.  “I just mean they’d be exposed to environmental factors, so we’d just need someone watching over it.  But no, no issues with the integrity of the city.”

“I see,” Peter said, before taking a deep breath.  “Okay, I need to address the elephant in the room.  You mentioned something about having a type of technology that can adjust the size of objects?  How…first, how is this possible?  And second, how do you have it?”

Peter was almost laughing in disbelief.  Marie didn’t blame him, describing her technology over the phone did sound preposterous.  “I’ll show you,” she said, reaching into her bag.  In her spare time she and Erin had been working on a second shrink ray, this one slightly more portable.  To keep with the idea of being able to disguise it, and partially because she found it funny, Marie also designed this to look like a small desk lamp.

“So I refer to myself as a biological engineer,” Marie said, a title which she found very empowering.  “And I created a device that can do this.”

Peter leaned forward in his chair as Marie pointed the object that to him, resembled a simple lamp right at Erin.  “Ready?” the skinnier, auburn haired woman asked her friend.

Erin just gave a thumbs up.  “Fire away!”

Marie pressed something, and a blue light fired out from the “lamp”, striking Erin directly.  After several seconds, the light faded.

“Nothing happ…” Peter started to say, before seeing a clock pop up on the side of the device and begin to countdown from thirty.  He saw Erin climb up on top of the table, which started to annoy him as this was expensive.  Just as he opened his mouth to ask what in the world she was doing, Marie shushed him and held up a finger.

“Just watch,” she said with a sly grin.

Peter’s heart started to race as the clock ticked down to zero.  Then, right before his very eyes, Erin instantly dwindled away.

“What the hell?” he said, jumping up out of his chair in alarm.  He looked around momentarily, then his eyes focused down on top of the table.  Where Erin was just sitting, there was now a tiny creature in her place.

“Is that her?” he whispered, his voice nearly cracking in excitement.  “The bug, that’s Erin?”

Marie leaned forward instinctively, ready to protect Erin if necessary.  This was more out of habit, but she didn’t want Peter reaching out to grab her.  “Yep, that’s Erin.  Do you have a magnifying glass around here

Sprinting up, Peter began to rummage around through his desk, when he pulled out a very dusty magnifying glass.  “Never thought I’d need this,” he laughed.  “My grandfather gave this to me when I was a kid, it’s been hidden away in that desk for years.”

Taking a closer look, Peter’s jaw dropped at what he saw.  There on the desk at the size of an ant, was that gorgeous young woman.  She even gave him a wave and thumbs up.

“This is incredible, how small is she?”

“Two millimeters tall,” Marie responded proudly.  “She’ll be like that for the next hour.”  When Peter gave her a confused look, Marie went on to explain how she was unable to grow anyone back immediately, and that the ray had a preset time for when it would automatically return people to normal size.

“Can…can I pick her up,” Peter asked nervously.

“That’s up to her, what do you say Erin?” Marie asked, lowering her face down towards her tiny friend.  Taking a peek through the magnifying glass, she was relieved to see Erin was alright with this.  “Alright, lay your hand flat.”

Peter was very careful with Erin’s tiny body.  He let her climb into his hand and gently rolled her around.  This only lasted a few seconds before he placed her back down on the table.

“Well, I absolutely love this idea, but I have one concern,” he said, which caused Marie’s heart to start racing.  “If we’re doing this, it’ll need to be perfect, no shortcuts.  I want to work with you to 3-D print a small city for me, specifically for research.  Once we have the data we need, we’re gonna create an actual model city, complete with residents.”

Marie’s eyes widened, very surprised hearing this.  “You don’t just want me to design a model city for you?”

“Oh you’ll help me design it, but this is going to be created with shrunken materials!” Peter said enthusiastically.  The CEO was on a roll right now.  “We can shrink construction crews and materials down, I want only the best.  Are you in?”

There was a pause as Marie was trying to process everything her investor had just thrown at her.  It all sounded great, honestly it was more than she anticipated and she was feeling a bit overwhelmed by it.  She definitely had some concerns and felt like she was sacrificing a bit of control, but in the end knew what she wanted to do.

“Yes, let’s do it.  We’re in!” Marie said, standing up to shake Peter’s hand.

“Excellent!  I’ll get a contract drawn up and we can go over all the little details then.”  There was a pause as Peter’s eyes fell upon the shrink ray.

“Do you mind if I ask a favor?” he said.

Marie was instantly on edge, not knowing what this guy’s motivations were.  “Uhhh, sure.”

“Can you actually shrink me?”

Marie froze, trying to process what he just said.  Did he actually say he wanted her to shrink him?  “I’m sorry, you said what?”

Peter blushed.  “I’m very curious what it’s like, I don’t think I can pass up this opportunity,” he said with a shrug.  “Besides, if we’re going to convince people to pay their hard-earned money to shrink down and explore our creation, I need to experience it first.  What kind of leader would I be otherwise?”

“Damn, I think I’m gonna like working with you,” Marie laughed.  “Alright, stand still….”

Marie activated the device and watched as it struck her soon-to-be business partner.  “I don’t feel anything yet,” Peter said, not knowing what to do right now.

“Just relax, you will,” responded Marie.  She turned the size-altering device (she still hated calling it a shrink ray) towards Peter so he could watch it tick down towards zero.

Marie had seen people shrinking plenty of times now, but she always found it amusing when someone shrunk for the first time.  This was no exception as Peter began to nervously fidget and breath heavily watching the timer reach zero.

The change of perspective for Peter was incredibly quick.  ‘This is crazy, I’m actually doing this’, he thought to himself just before the timer hit zero.  The entire room seemed to spin and he became incredibly light-headed.  The nauseating sensation of falling took over, and the rich investor needed to close his eyes to prevent himself from vomiting.  As soon as he opened them, he was essentially in a whole new world.

He stared upward in aew, realizing that he was looking up at the underside of the table in his conference room.  As he struggled to process just how small he had become, the floor started to shake.  Right before him appeared a giant foot with dark green toenails, particularly obscured in an expensive sandal.  The other foot slammed down right next to it.

“ARE YOU OKAY DOWN THERE?” Marie asked, lowering her hand directly in front of Peter.  The tiny man took several steps back before realizing that Marie was not trying to hurt him.  Slowly, he approached her hand and struggled to climb on, tumbling a few times into the palm of her hand.

“HERE, I’LL PUT YOU WITH ERIN,” the enormous woman said, after holding the tiny guy in front of her face.  Despite her size being extremely unsettling at first, Peter was soon stunned at Marie’s beauty.  When she had walked into the room at normal size, Marie didn’t strike Peter as more than a normal attractive woman.  Now, she might as well have been a goddess to him.

Erin walked up to her tiny future business partner as Marie carefully lowered him onto the table.  “Hey, how’s it feel?” she laughed, seeing he was still struggling to process everything.

“This is unbelievable,” Peter said, clearly nervous yet in awe.  The two-millimeter man started to wander around this new landscape.  Just walking up to the blueprints that had been laid on the table felt awe-inspiring.

“You know, I’d like to say it gets old, but honestly it never does!” Erin said enthusiastically.  “Personally, I love it!”

“Oh yeah?  What’re some of your favorite things to do?” Peter asked curiously.

Erin blushed, trying not to sound like the world’s biggest pervert.  “Well as weird as it sounds I really like seeing the human body up close at a really tiny size….”

She saw Peter raise an eyebrow before shooting her a knowing smile.  “Anyone in particular?”

Erin didn’t have to answer as Marie sat in the chair next to them, making sure to keep an eye on her shrunken business partners.  Erin just nodded towards the giantess.

“She really is stunning,” Peter laughed nervously.

“Oh yeah!” Erin giggled.  She was starting to get a bit uncomfortable revealing her feelings to this tiny guy who was basically a stranger.  “So, we’ve got almost an hour before I grow back, what do you want to do?”

“I’d like to get my bearings and start seeing the world at this size.  Your purse is on its side, can we go in there and look around?” he asked.

With a brief pause, Erin decided there was nothing too embarrassing in there.  “Sure!” she said enthusiastically, leading the way.

Marie smiled as well, seeing Erin and Peter disappear into the purse.  She knew it was a good idea that Peter was willing to explore, and sat in the chair texting Dan.  Her mind started to wander, as later tonight Dan was bringing his mom over to meet Marie’s parents.  This worried her and stressed her out way more than a meeting with a billionaire.

Inside the purse, Peter was having the time of his life.  He and Erin were busy climbing over chapstick containers and trekking across sticks of chewing gum. His business-like mind began planning out all the ways he would be making money off of this.

Meanwhile, while Marie was caught up in her phone, her stomach suddenly rumbled in a very uncomfortable way.  “Shit,” she muttered, putting a hand over her belly and feeling a sharp pain.  “That burrito was a bad idea,” she mumbled, before realizing the two tiny people inside the purse might’ve heard her.

“Hey Mr. Watkins,” Marie said, somewhat impatiently, squatting down on the ground to be eye-level with the purse laying on its side.  “Do you have a bathroom in here?” her eyes darted back and forth until they located the tiny duo.  It looked like they were trying to communicate with her but Marie didn’t have time for that right now.

“Nevermind, I’ll find one,” she said, standing up suddenly and rushing out of the room.

“Is she alright?” Peter asked, seeing the giantess open the door and take off down the hallway while speed walking.

Erin just laughed in response.  “Yep, that would be the Taco Burrito King that we had for lunch.”

“Yikes, glad we’re not in her stomach right now,” Peter laughed.

“Been there, done that.  Happy I made it out alive,”

Erin shrugged.  This was met with an amazed look from Peter.

“How did you….”

“She swallowed me by accident, puked me back up in time before I could get digested,” Erin said confidentially.  From the dumbfounded expression on Peter’s face, Erin knew she struck gold.  She started going into detail about some other times she had been shrunk around giant people.  These stories ranged from ending up inside Eddie’s asshole to nearly being crushed by Marie’s foot.

“Yeah we’re really gonna have to work together,” Peter said, his heart now racing with excitement.  “Maybe I’d need you to lead some type of shrunken tour.”

Erin’s eyes lit up.  “That sounds amaz…..”

“HELLO?  ME. WATKINS ARE YOU IN HERE?” a female voice called out, causing both Erin and Peter to freeze.

“What was that?” Erin whispered, as both she and Peter crawled to the mouth of the purse.

“Oh that’s Alena, my assistant,” he whispered, feeling truly tiny as his subordinate now practically shook the earth as she took more and more steps into the room.

“Must’ve taken them on a tour,” the woman said to herself, emitting a tired sigh and brushing her brown hair back out of her face.  She saw one of the women had left their purse on the table, and decided to start cleaning up a bit.  A few things had spilled out of the purse, no reason not to put them away.

“Fuck, she’s coming over here!” Peter whispered, now beginning to panic.  “What do we do?”

“Just stay quiet and stay still for now,” Erin said.  That was easier said than done, as when Alena lifted the purse to adjust it, both Erin and Peter started to tumble down the tan, leather wall.  It was a slow descent, but one that bruised them both nonetheless.

“Ah my head,” Erin said, getting and staggering forward.  “Peter, are you okay?”  She was met with silence.  “Peter?”

Turning around, Erin saw Peter standing there, staring upwards almost as if he was in a trance.  “Hey are you….” she started to sag before seeing what he was looking at.  Alena was staring right down at them.

“Do you think she recognizes us?” Peter whispered.

At this point, Erin was experienced enough with shrinking tech to know better.  “Nope, we should go,” she said, trying her best to stay calm.

“Stupid ants,” Alena said under her breath.  She looked away momentarily, trying to see if there was a tissue within reach.  As she did this, both Erin and Peter broke into a run, desperately trying to find some type of cover, with Erin in the lead.

After Alena was unable to find a tissue, she turned her attention back to the two insects.  Her face twisted into a sadistic grin seeing the two tiny creatures starting to flee.  She knew her boss hated insects, so she’d have to take care of them herself.  “BETTER WATCH OUT,” she said ominously, her hand balling into a fist.

She lowered her first down towards the table, ready to obliterate the insects.

“Left now!” Peter screamed, frantically pulling Erin to the side.  Erin yelped in shock, though there was an earth shaking blow after, one that rattled the ground around them.  Alena’s fist had hit the table right where Erin had been standing.

“Get up, let’s go!” Peter yelled, his survival instincts kicking into gear.

“What the hell?” Alena said, moderately surprised.  What should’ve been a stupid insect and an easy kill had just pulled a highly strategic evasive maneuver.  She took a few steps back to walk around the other side of the table.

“Where’s she going now?” Peter asked, noticing Erin stop.

“Whoa, I don’t feel so good,” Erin said, starting to feel dizzy.  Then her eyes widened.  “Run now!” she yelled.

Instead Peter froze.  He wasn’t sure what Erin was referring to, until he saw her body on top of the table rapidly start to expand.

Within seconds, Erin’s body shot back up to normal size.  She grew back in the same position she was last tiny jn, doubled over with her hands on her knees.  On top of this table, she lost her balance and fell forward.

Peter broke into a desperate sprint, trying to put as much ground in between him and this titanic woman as his puny legs could muster.  It wasn’t enough.

Dazed after landing on the table, Erin heard someone shout “what the fuck?!” from somewhere behind her.   She instantly knew it was Alena.

“Holy shit!  What’s going on here?” a more familiar voice called out as Marie raced back into the room.  “Where’s Peter?”

Erin carefully sat backwards, not wanting to put Peter in any more danger than he already was, if he was still alive.  Both she and Marie glanced toward, horrified at the thought that they’d find a tiny bloody splotch at any second.

Glancing over her shoulder, Erin made eye contact with the shocked Alena, who had collapsed back into a chair and was now just sitting there with her mouth open.

“Well do you think you crushed him?” Marie asked nervously, still unable to locate him.  Erin just gave a distressed shrug, when Marie noticed something.  It was Erin’s slightly exposed cleavage.

“Here, let me take a look,” Marie said, leaning forward.

Erin shot her a puzzled look.  “A look wheeeee ooohhhhh!” she said, as Marie gently grabbed the base of Erin’s right breast.  Marie’s finger had made contact with Erin’s nipple through the shirt, and it became hard immediately.  Marie gently free’d Erin’s breast, and her eye lit up.

“Peter!  Are you okay?” she asked, her eyes having out seeing the tiny man starfished out above Erin’s nipple.

Peter had managed to avoid getting crushed directly underneath Erin’s tit, though as it expanded he was struck in the back by her chest.  He slid down the sweaty cleavage until he came to a rest above her nipple.  He was out of breath and nightly bruised, but Peter could say he didn’t enjoy it.

“Here I got him,” Marie said, gently scooping him onto her index finger, trying to ignore Erin’s not-so-subtle moan.

“Can I see him?” Alena called out from the back of the room, starting to get up!”

“No!” Erin shouted.

“Absolutely not,” Marie said, rolling her eyes.  She could tell Alena felt horrible, though she did almost crush Marie’s best friend as well as her future business partner.

Marie kept an eye over Peter for a few more minutes, until his timer exported and he returned back to normal surprise.  Much to the relief of both Erin and Marie, they had not scared Peter off.

“I can tell you what, we’re definitely gonna need to do some testing in the model city before we start shrinking people for real,” he said.  “Why don’t you print one out and come back next week, I’ll have the contract drawn up by then.

“Can do,” Marie responded proudly, as Peter shook both her and Erin’s hands once more.

“Excellent, we’ll need some volunteers to spend some time in there,” he said, before shooting Alena an annoyed glance.

‘I’d hate to be her’, Marie thought to herself, though not exactly blaming the man.

“We will see you next week then,” Erin smiled, leaving the room with Marie and seeing themselves out of the mansion.

“I think that went well,” she laughed to Marie, who just shook her head.

“Please, your tits almost crushing our investor was the least stressful part of my day,” Marie sighed.

“Oh right, your dinner,” Erin remembered.  “Have fun!”

“Yeah don’t remind me,” Marie groaned as she entered her car.
