Hi, my name is outren. I’m Reggie’s brother, and I got a tale too. See I’m an identical twin to him so if you know what reggie looks like you know what I look like, but my personality is a little different from Reggie. In his story of what soon to be fame he never mentions me, why you may ask, because I live on the other side of zanespa so he doesn’t know about me… yet anyway.

Before I start I believe that you guys know nothing of zanespa and that Reggie barely told you anything about it. Well let me be the one to clear the clouds that dwell in your mind.

I’m pretty sure that Reggie has given you the history of zanespa but, for those who do not know, let me explain…

There once was a time were zanespa never were, just four friends from the four universes. The friends were incredibly smart, so smart that together they made a new type of life in the center of the multiverse, they gave the creature the power of a god and the creature made itself into a planet. That planet was named after the creature, zanespa, and our ancestors, so far as we now were the first to be reborn as a zanespian. So as zanespians grew over time, the creature got weakened but not dead, for it is a god or goddess. My ancestors and my brother are the only ones who know for sure if this is all real. Before the first zanespians died they made a rule for us: if you ever come in contact with a human you may do what you like to it, once you find it it’s yours. Zanespa is a place of earth only bigger. We are abit more advanced than the human race but hey we’re all different right? Another thing about zanespa, think of four big cities, and four forests. That’s what it’s like in my life. I live in one of the cities but you will know that later, for now learn about my adventure.

I get up and take a big stretch, I hear the cars beeping outside so it must be the morning rush. I hop in the shower and throw on my school clothes. I go to Qopiluyead High which of course is a zanespian high school. We do have some earth schools but there are few, and those that remain need volunteers. I go into the living room to find my step mother Diane, making breakfast and my step sisters watching TV.

“Good morning outren” Diane says

“Good morning mother” I reply

I go sit down at the counter and wait for her to finish, which was longer than needed. She calls the girls and well all sit at the counter as she sets the plates in the middle.

“Dig in!” Diane says in a sing song voice

I look and see that she prepared humans. I see she made humans in hotdog buns, hamburger buns, rolled up and just plain in a bowl. My step sisters, Lucy and Claire dove straight in, devouring them, savoring their taste. I’m no vegetarian but I don’t eat humans most of the time, it’s just sick and wrong in all ways possible but sometimes I can’t handle myself. I’m not the only one but still, I excuse myself and make me a bowl a cereal, after I finish I wash my plate and hurry out the door. I’m almost late for school, I catch the bus before it leaves just in the nick of time and take my seat.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention about how humans stumbled here, well… 10 years ago a ship came in full of humans. We probed, studied, and realized one thing. Humans are nothing but small animals to us, and we let them go out into the wilderness to learn and survive. A year later more and more ships landed and we did the same as the first, let them go. Over time we found out they were edible to us and healthy to us. We also learned that humans live as long as we do and stay youthful too. Humans are sold as pets and as food in our fast food places, and you can also find humans but if you do you have to eat it, sell it, or keep it as a pet or slave.

The bus screeches as it stops which makes my stomach lurch forward. I exit the bus along with others and enter my school rushing to my first period class. I make it just before the bell rings and take my seat, the teacher starts his lesson.

“Hey outren, that was a close call, I can’t keep making up things anymore if you be late to class man” my friend Eiscer explains

“I know, I know it’s just that I keep having to make my own meals and it takes longer to get outa the house” I explain

“It’s cool, so you wanna meet up after school?” she asks

“Were would we go?” I reply

“At one of the fast food places or something” he says

“Really man? You know how much I dislike eating humans” I tell him

“Aw c’mon, just one time with ya best pal” he pleads

“I don’t know why you like eating them so much but fine, I’ll go just this once.” I explain

“Yes, Oh yea can Carolyn come with us?” he asked

“Carolyn?! The quiet girl why?” I replied almost yelling

The bell rang ending 1st­­­­­ period. As we headed to history class I bumped into Carolyn.

“Oops, excuse me” she said startled

“No, excuse me, I’m the one who ran into you, the faults mine I’m sorry” I explained

“It’s okay, hey I know you, your outren right?” she asked

“Yea that’s me” I replied

“Your friend Eiscer invited me to join you guys if it was okay with you” she tells me

“So is it okay?” she asks and blushes a little

“Its fine I don’t mine really, meet us at Mr. Gulp after school” I explain

“Okay thanks, you know outren you’re nice and kind. Other boys are rather wild and mean but you seem to be the exact opposite” she explains while blushing

“Well I gota class so see ya then” I tell her

“See you then” she replies

I run to history class and take my seat, I tell Eiscer that it’s ok and responds with a ‘yes’ motion. Okay I know you don’t know anybody so I’ll tell you a couple people.

Carolyn- The quietest girl in school but also the weirdest. She neither popular nor unpopular but in the middle like me and eiscer are. Not much is known about Carolyn other than the fact that she is rich but that’s all. She has little friend who are just as weird

Eiscer- A great friend and my best friend. We have been friends since we first started school but are completely different. Eiscer enjoys eating humans and even more at searching for them. The one he finds he tends to sell, unless he tries to catch one and fails and catch it or one that’s caught escapes just to be captured again. He keeps those humans as prizes but eventually eats them. Eiscer is a popular in school because he broke the record of eating the most humans in the school.

Monica - A cheerleader and the most popular girl in school. She can be nice at times but picks on kids like me and Carolyn. She eats humans to and owns a human herself, she keeps it where everyone can see it and make it do the craziest things. She has a boyfriend named Joe too.

Joe – The captain of the football team and boyfriend to Monica. He is like me, a person who dislikes eating humans but will on occasions. Joe and I are friends actually but our friendship is at a minimum because he is dating and I don’t want to be popular. I don’t know much but he is a good guy on the inside.

So there you are some names and information about the people you might meet. Anyway, it’s fourth period and it seems like school can’t be no more boring but school is school and I can’t change that fact. It doesn’t matter because I only have a day left till summer ends so I’m gunna have to take one for the team.

The bell rings ending my fourth period class and now it’s time for lunch. I bring lunch from home because what they serve here has human in it. I usually eat alone but today Carolyn and Eiscer had joined me, strange…

“Wassup Outren my man?” Eiscer said while slurping a human

“Hey”

“Hi Outren, Eiscer” Carolyn said sitting down

“Uh, hi Carolyn?”

I watch as two friends eat these innocent lives. If you are wondering, yes zanespians shrink but since they are still citizens the shrunken ones are sold. Once sold you can do anything to it, but if it shrinks and you happen to find one it’s yours.

“Why are you guys here?” I ask

They both blink at me in confusion, “Why wouldn’t we be?” the responded

“Well you guys know I eat alone but its okay, you guys can sit with me” I explain

“Hey Outren, I bought this soda and I wanted to ask you how it tastes with this powder” she says and shows me the powdery bag.

Thinking it’s a trap I ask her what the powder is and she tells me its sugar.

“Okay, I’ll try some” some I tell her and she slightly smiles

“Good! Well come on then, drink it” She says and hands me the bottle and powder.

Eiscer excused himself so he can get another plate, so it was just me and Carolyn. I poured in the ‘sugar’ and shook it up, then I took a sip expecting it to be nasty but it was actually quite good, and really really sweet.

“Well it’s not bad, not bad at all. In fact it’s really sweet!” I reassure her

“Ok! Thanks, oh hey you can have the rest of that, I’ll just buy some more” she tells me

“Okay cool!” I reply and drink the rest of it

The bell rings and I go to my last three classes for today after school I meet up with Carolyn and Eiscer and we head off to the big gulp…
