Dagon was running through the wooded area, like his life depended on it. The sounds of thumping could be heard behind him as he dashed through the forest, ducking and weaving the best he could. Trying to use the underbrush to his advantage to get away. Why him… WHY HIM?!

That question ran through his mind, as he duck under a fallen tree and kept running. The sound of the same tree breaking under the weight of what was chasing after him, made Dagon pick up speed and run even quicker. She was getting closer. Things became a blur as Dagon tried to move faster through the dimly lite forest. However no matter how fast he ran, the sounds of his pursuer not only keeping pace, but even growing closer rang through his ears. Dagon was done for if he didn’t find a way to lose the giantess chasing after him. Yet no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t do it. She was hot on his heels as the sound of rapid footsteps grew closer. Why Dagon agreed to do this was beyond him, but it was too late to back out now.

The more Dagon tried to use the forest to his benefit the less ground he made, in fact it only seemed to be slowing him down. This giantess was super persistent and pretty fast for her age. How was she so fast? Dagon could only blame her parents for giving her such good genes. As that thought crossed his mind, something swung at him. Dagon barely had time to duck and stumble forward, just missing the first attempt at grabbing him. As much as Dagon wanted to curse at how close that was, he held his mouth shut. He just needed to make another thirty feet or so before he would come across a steep cliff he could use to lose his soon be captor. Dagon pushed his legs to move fast as he could feel the hair on the back of his neck rise as a could sense the hand of the Giantess quickly approaching him.

It was going to be close!

Just two more step-

Suddenly two thick hands larger than Dagon’s entire arms clamped down on his side. Dagon let out a startled nose as he was hefted easily off the ground with his feet still moving, running in place.

Dagon was caught.

Knowing it was pointless to struggle, he let out a tired sigh as he was turned around to face the one holding him. Dagon looked upon the young three year old Giantess that held him in her grip. She was easily ten or eleven feet tall, her goofy child like appearance was made clearer with her grinning and toothy smile. A look of victory on her face.

“I WIN AGAIN, DADDY,” Ashley cheered with delight.

Dagon would have been happy if it were for his pride of being bested by his own daughter in a game of hide and seek. “Yeaaaah you sure did,” Dagon hide his annoyed feelings of defeat behind those words. As much as Dagon didn’t want to admit it, he was a sore loser.

Ashley let out a happy giggle as she brought Dagon closer to herself. It wasn’t till it was too late, as Dagon’s daughter was bringing him in for a tighter hug. Dagon immediately wanted to protest but his daughter's hands and arms wrapped around him. Such a simple and loving embrace caught Dagon off guard, as did the strength behind the young girl.

Dagon let out a groan as his daughter held him tight. Just like any young girl with a doll or stuff toy… only Dagon wasn’t feeling very comfortable being bear hugged by his daughter right now.

“Ash-ley- too- tight,” Dagon gasped feeling the young giantess demonstrating her strength by squeezing the loving life out of her father. This was not a way that Dagon imagined going out, dying from a hug. He could start to see stars when the all too familiar voice of Ashley’s mom calling out to her.

“Ashley, put Daddy down,” Melody called out in a very motherly tone.

Dagon heard his daughter’s answer filled with laughter, “Okay mommy!”

Dagon felt the pressure on his back from the hug subside as he dropped the two or so feet to the ground. Dagon winced and rubbed at his back before turning to see the others approaching from the woods. The two giantess, Melody and his sister Cindy slowly emerging and coming into view. He spotted Olivia sitting on Cindy’s shoulder.

As soon as Melody got closer, Ashley went dashing toward her mom. Dagon was left alone to catch his breath and watch his enormous giantess daughter be picked up by the behemothly tall woman. Ashley was busy shouting “I won, I won!” Over and over again as Melody praised her on such a good job. Dagon didn’t comment as he let out a tired sigh.

Cindy snickered as she got closer to Dagon, “What’s wrong brother, that’s the third time you got caught. Are you letting her win on purpose, or…” Cindy’s smirk grew wider, “Are you just getting old?”

“I’M NOT THAT OLD,” Dagon barked at his annoying sister. It seemed she was delighted in teasing his age recently. Dagon grumbled as he hated the fact that Cindy wouldn’t stop reminding him of how old he was getting. Now, Dagon wasn’t a grandpa, but he swore he found a gray hair the other day. Not to mention he felt like he could have out ran his daughter a few years ago, easily, but Ashley was a growing Giantess, which meant she would only get faster.

Melody walked closer holding Ashley I n her arms, who was retelling her mother about how she beat her father. Melody asked with a chiding tone, “Now Dagon, you’re not taking it easy on Ashley cause she’s your daughter are you?”

“Taking it easy,” Dagon repeated in disbelief, still catching his breath from not just the running he did but the compression on his body from the victory hug. Recovering his breathing, Dagon rolled his eyes at Melody’s remark. “The whole point was to teach Ashley how to hunt and track. There’s no point in going easy on her.”

“Well than,” Melody remarked sounding proud of the new. “It seems someone is becoming a big girl,” Melody cheerfully praised Ashley in her arms.

“YAAAA,” Ashley cheered with the motherly praise.

Dagon couldn’t help but feel affection toward his daughter’s joy. Sure this was all “training” in his eyes. He didn’t want his daughter to not be able to survive out there if something happened. As Melody still roamed the lands as any traditional Giantess would, there was the small possibility something could happen. Leaving Ashley to fend for herself, that was Dagon’s and Melody’s worse nightmare. That was why they came up with this “game” for Ashley to play. Granted it would be better if she were trying to capture animals, but being this close to Hagger’s town, the animals living around here were too small or had been hunted already. Dagon figured it was better for Ashley to practice with him rather than not know at all. However a deeper part of him hope that this didn’t somehow impact her view on people. That was his biggest fear, that he was implanting into Ashley’s young mind that it was okay to capture people for fun.

“I’m sure it’s just Dagon getting old,” Cindy causally tossed out.

“I’M NOT THAT FFFF-” Dagon quickly remember his child was nearby, “Freaking old! What about you miss twenty-” Dagon watched Cindy’s eyes widen as he was about to say her age out loud. Her index finger moved so fast that Dagon almost didn’t have time to dodge her stabbing at his mouth to shush him. The finger just missed Dagon’s face.

“SHHH! Don’t you even say it,” Cindy hissed glaring daggers at him as she pulled her finger off the ground after the attempt on his life.

Dagon just chuckled as it looked like he still had the speed to out maneuver his massive sister. She still glared at him, but didn’t make another attempt like before to silence him. Dagon made sure to stay just out of her reach, just in case Cindy wanted to do a sneak attack when he wasn’t prepared.

“Hey,” Dagon goaded on, “Facts are facts. We’re not as young as we think we are,” Dagon told Cindy. If not more to convince her than himself. After years and years of being on the run or meandering around, it wasn’t till the last few recent years that Dagon started to feel himself settling down. He had a lover, a company/business, and a social life inside Hagger’s town. His once non existent human life in these cities had changed. He knew people by their first AND last names. He traded and talked with them. Shared daily information with them. He was part of the community, something he swore he would never be part of if he was asked a couple of years ago. As much as Dagon didn’t want to admit, he was becoming domesticated. Hell, he even had a dinner with Cindy and her father tonight, something that needed a freaking dress code for.

Melody chimed in, “I don’t know, I still think you’re still in your prime.” Melody gave Dagon a look that let him know exactly what she was thinking. It was like any other year, she was craving a little of Dagon. It was clear she had some lust for him, espically around this time of the year.

Dagon wanted to groan at the hint that Melody was trying to drop on him. As many times as Dagon tried to let her know that he wasn’t interested, she always gave it an attempt. Every year, she would offer or make an attempt at putting a move on Dagon. Luckily he avoid or found a way around her needy approach for him, Dagon let out a grumbled sigh before saying, “Well, I think everyone has had enough fun for the day.”

Ashley was the first to respond. She let out a sad whine, “No more play?”

“No big bean, not for toady. Maybe another day,” Dagon offered.

Dagon’s daughter looked upset but didn’t make too much of a fuse over her father’s words.

Cindy picked up Dagon, she gave him a look that meant she was still a little upset at Dagon. However this wasn’t anything new. They both fought, argued, and said stuff, but at the end of the day, they were siblings. They went through some stuff and they were bonded together with more than just blood.

Dagon was put on the other shoulder from Oliva. It was awkward for Cindy to walk with two people sitting on the same shoulder, so she had to split them up. It wasn’t new for Dagon and Olivia to be on separate shoulders. This didn’t stop them from talking to one another with Cindy in the middle as she walked them back to the city.

Olivia spoke first, “Big night tonight.”

Dagon nodded trying not to show any sign of worry, “Yeah. Dinner with your dad… oh joy.”

Olivia gasped as she picked up the last sarcastic part, “What’s that suppose to mean??”

Dagon winced as he realized his tone came out wrong. Well, not wrong, he wasn’t a fan of Olivia’s dad. So when he spoke with disdain in his voice, well he wasn’t looking forward to tonight, but Olivia didn’t need to know that. “… What? We both know he doesn’t like me. And I sure as heck told you how I feel,” Dagon defended himself. Both Dagon and Olivia’s old man were not close. Dagon didn’t know if it was cause he wasn’t a prince or something, but the unspoken hostility her father had toward Dagon was clear. Dagon couldn’t help but reciprocate it back to the king.

Olivia, on the other hand wasn’t feeling it, as she gave Dagon a look. Dagon rolled his eyes at her but finally after a few thumping steps from Cindy, he gave in. “I’ll be there! Just don’t expect me to be happy about it.”

Olivia gave Dagon a smile as she leaned into him and put her head on his shoulders, “I know it’s hard, but please… for me can you behave for one dinner?”

Dagon grumbled but gave in, “If I can survive a dean of Giantess, I think I can last a single dinner with your father.”

Before Olivia could show her happiness to the resposne Cindy beat her to it. Cindy let out a soft chuckle, “Oh what I wouldn’t give to see MY brother, trying to be all proper and polite.”

Dagon shot Cindy a look that only caused her to antagonize Dagon more with her smirky attitude. Dagon rolled his eyes and looked away from his sister as he spoke, “Shows what you know…”

Olivia loved Dagon and Cindy but they could be a pain in her butt with how much they bickered and fought each other. Granted their family relationship was strong, so much that they would do absolutely anything for each other, but there were times, like right now, where they would do what they could to get under each other’s skin. Olivia spoke up, “Well, I think Dagon looks good in a suit. It makes him look like a proper gentleman.”

Cindy gave Olivia a “what are you talking about” look, but Melody was the first to speak, “Really? I wouldn’t mind seeing him in one. Maybe next time we see each other, Dagon could dress up in this, suit, and I can see for myself.”

Olivia was the first to respond to the Melody’s curiosity. It sounded like she didn’t know what a suit was, or what they are usually used for. “Well, suits are more for like,” Olivia tried to think of the proper words that wouldn’t insult or start a fight with Melody, “human get together. They wouldn’t really be suitable for…” Olivia gestured to the surrounding forest, “Outdoors…” Olivia explained.

“Oh…” Melody frowned at those words. “Not for outdoors? Than what’s the point? You people have weird customs,” Melody said shifting Ashley in her arms.

Olivia didn’t dwell too deeply on Melody’s response to her words. It was clear she didn’t understand Olivia or what kind of standards they had for situations like a fancy dinner.

It wasn’t till they were just a few miles form the city of Hagger’s town did Cindy stop and let Dagon and Olivia down. Melody also stopped before putting Ashley down on the ground, “Don’t forget to say bye bye to papa.”

Dagon wasn’t ready when his enormous daughter came up and plucked him off the ground and gave him a sloppy kiss on his forehead before saying in a child like demeanor, “Bye bye daddy! I HAD FUN!”

Dagon brushed off the little layer of spit left on his head before saying giving his daughter the best hug he could for her size. Melody was up next, “Will we see you tomorrow?” Olivia could hear the wanting in her voice. As much as Olivia had gotten used to Melody’s presence and her desire to be with Dagon, it still didn’t rub her the wrong way. Olivia had to keep from making a noise at the request.

Dagon slowly nodded, “Pete doesn’t need me till next week. I still have time. Besides I would like to see Ashley one more time before you two head off for the month.”

Olivia didn’t understand all the customs of Giantess. How they were mostly nomadic, roaming around the lands. Some, like Melody, had a home or a place they called “home”. Somewhere they always came back to. Kind of like migratory birds returning from the season. Yet, not all were like Melody, or that was Dagon’s explanation. Some just kept roaming till it was their time to pass on. Just like his mother.

A familiar voice was heard behind a large tree, “Your majesty.”

Olivia recognized Nancy’s voice before she saw her. Always being proper, even out here in the wilderness. She had come to escort Olivia and Dagon back to the city and, of course, to talk with Cindy. It had been over three years since Cindy and Nancy first met, and they were still seeing each other whenever they could.

After greeting Olivia like a formal maid always did, she next turned and bowed like she did to Olivia toward Cindy. “My goddess…”

Cindy immediately turned a dark crimson shade from blushing at those words. “St-stop…” She muttered, “Not in front of the others….”

Dagon let out a deep sounding sigh, “Look sis, I love you but not gonna lie, that’s some weird stuff you’re into-”

Cindy turned an almost impossibly darker shade of red than she already was from the embarrassing greeting, “I-wh-me- she does it on her own!”

Olivia looked toward Nancy and watched a small tug of a smile twitch at her lips but as always, she seemed to remain very calm. It seemed teasing Cindy wasn’t just Dagon’s job after all.

Before the two siblings could get into a shouting match, which Olivia was sure Cindy would win due to her size, Nancy spoke, “We should head back soon, you know how your father is when it gets this late. The dinner is also approaching. I’m sure Master Dagon will need to get ready, if he wants to try and make it to this dinner.”

Dagon flinched at the tone that Nancy put into that last part. As much as Dagon hatted to say it, he had bailed on more than one dinner with Olivia’s father. Sure the first few times he couldn’t help it, but it would be a lie if Dagon didn’t find an excuse to dodge as many as he could. Something about the king just always rubbed him the wrong way, and than the way he felt like he was ignored most of the time… like why even show up? The only obvious answer was, for Olivia. Dagon grunted, “I’ll be there.”

As Nancy started to leave with Dagon and Olivia, to head back to Hagger’s town, Nancy stopped. She turned and caught Cindy before she could leave, “I’ll see you tonight in the usual spot my goddess, till than,” Nancy properly bowed to a blushing and bewildered Cindy.

Cindy’s words were still calling out as the others were leaving, “It’s not what you think!”

Dagon sat as still as if he were hiding from a forest creature or even a giantess. Even his breathing was shallow as not to give himself away at the dinner table. All around him were nobles or fancy dressed people. There were so many of them, that they had to have come from other towns. He didn’t recognize any of them, cause he never had to deal with the upper classed, besides with Olivia and her father. However, here he was in a crowded dinning room, sitting at a table with a bunch of classy looking rich people who were enjoying themselves. Something he wasn’t familiar with and certainly didn’t want to be here for. The only thing keeping him there instead of leaving to a more comfortable spot, was the soft smile Olivia offered every thirty seconds to keep him grounded.

She sat across from Dagon, so it made his attention on her that much easier to keep. The words from the countless people in the room were just droning on and on as he took his time to focus on Olivia, his food and drink, than right back to Olivia.

Besides Olivia distracting his attention, he had to fight the urge to rip his tightly bound suit he was in. He felt so restrictive in the clothing. He couldn't even move his arms all the way up, and the “tie” felt like a noose around his neck. A feeling that he was sadly very familiar with from a past experience. Any reserve of consciousness was solely directed to recalling the training Nancy taught him a few years ago with how to eat with nobility. There were so many forks and knives around him, he felt like he had enough to use as weapons against a mob of people, or on all the people in the room. A utensil per snobby sounding upper class nobles.

“What of you Olivia, my dear,” Someone called from a little further down the table. “How do you feel about the new measures being taken in Brax.”

Dagon watched as Olivia elegantly started to reply to the question. Dagon had no idea what the heck they were talking about the town Brax for. It was a place very far north. Somewhere he never ventured, cause of how far away it was. However Olivia seemed to have an answer for the noble’s question. “As tragic as the Luther’s town attack was several years ago, I don’t think directly antagonizing the Giantess around city is the answer. I fear it may just cause a situation that might be worse. Trying to prevent something, sometimes leads to stimulating the very thing that was trying to be stopped. I have little to no knowledge of Brax Town’s history, but if the rumors are true… it sounds like a very dangerous gamble they are taking. One that could not just affect themselves, but all of the remaining Towns…”

Olivia’s words seemed to dampen the mood in the room. Until her father stepped in, “But unlike the other cities… Hagger’s Town is prepared for anything. Just like we have been for hundreds, if not thousands of years beforehand, and many more later.” These words seemed to please or at least calm the room down from the dire tone Olivia set.

Dagon caught Olivia’s eyes once again for the hundredth time tonight. It was clear why she wanted Dagon there to help comfort herself, as much as she did for him. As much as Dagon was gazing upon Olivia’s eyes, the same question was purposed to him. The voice cutting out toward him distracting him for a moment as Dagon realized they were talking ot him. “What do you think of the situation in Brax…. Uh…” the man had clearly not recalled his name.

Dagon pondered to wait for as long as it took till he used his name but there was a slight warning look on Olivia’s face. One that said, “please… not tonight.” So Dagon took a sip of his drink and turned to the one purposing the question.

“I’ve never been to Brax, I don’t know too much of the situation, and wouldn’t presume to know if what’s going on is right or wrong. However,” Dagon went on, “However in my profession-”

“Which is,” Someone cut Dagon off. Dagon cut back a remark about shutting up till he was done, but Olivia again kept him more docile in the room.

“Security advisor.” Dagon mentioned. “I’ve seen enough to know not to underestimate a Giantess.” Just to see some of the nobles squirm a little at those words added to Dagon’s mood. “I mean look at Haven and Luther’s town, I just hope that Brax isn’t doing the same thing…”

As please as Dagon was to watch some of the upper class member mummer at the news of the two famous cities fallen by Giantess, it was clear that Dagon had killed the atmosphere at the dinner. He did get a stern look from Olivia’s father, but the one from Olivia that he wasn’t expecting. It was clear he messed up hard.

Dagon did his best not to say it too loud as he took a sip form his cup “Damn...”

As close as he was with Olivia, her father forbid him sleeping in the castle unsupervised. There was no doubt in Dagon’s mind that the king knew that he and Olivia were sexually active, but this was just another card the old man could play. Until they were married, they couldn’t sleep under the same roof (granted that didn’t stop them most nights, or even spending them outside of the town). However Dagon wasn’t feeling like tempting the king by doing so anyway. So instead he headed out of the castle, roaming the streets till he came across Nancy in the night. She was returning from what he could only assume was a nice night with his sister.

As they passed by, Dagon did his best not to think too hard about what they did together, since he had witnessed one event many years ago. However he gave a curtsy nodded to Nancy who returned it. Dagon couldn’t help but catch a smell wafting off the maid’s body, one that smell familiar of womanhood and musk. Well it was clear she and Cindy had a nice evening together. A very very nice one indeed by how tired she looked.

Passing a few buildings and homes, Dagon found Peter’s place and knocked on the door. The ever cheerful plump man opened the door. Regardless of the time, he looked pleased.

“DAGON!” he nearly roared pulling him into the home. “It’s good to see you!” Than Peter recalled the time and gave him a puzzled look, “What brings you here?”

“Uh…” Dagon muttered unease about asking it, “Kind of late… needed a place to stay till morning.”

Peter let out a deep chuckle as the older man grinned, “King still not letting you stay in his home?”

“What a shocker,” Dagon groaned at the obvious answer to the question.

Peter let out another chuckle, “Well, there’s always room for you here. Least I can do for someone who’s helped me out so much. Both you and your sister.”

“Thanks,” Dagon remarked as he was led to the small room saved for guest to sleep. Normally he would have avoided coming to Peter’s place, due to the lumpy bed he offered. However it was better than Dagon didn’t feel like trying to avoid roaming creatures tonight till he found Cindy. It also didn’t help that Dagon was still feeling exhausted from this afternoon’s playtime with his daughter. Ashley always wore him out, Dagon doubted he could out run a snail if he had to.

Dagon laid on the stuffy bed as he tried to get some sleep. It was a curse to know what the nobility slept on, the soft smooth beds. Peter’s spare bed wasn’t even remotely close to the sensation. As uncomfortable the bed was, he knew he could sleep better without someone watching him, which was the only saving grace to this rock like mattress he laid on.

“Fucking, royal prick,” Dagon muttered as he tried to go to sleep. Doing his best not to dream of the soft clouds he could have been sleeping on instead of this good for nothing bed he shifted around on.

Dagon was out of Peter’s home before he could wake. Dagon was tired, but he was used to this, or was used to it. The several years of safety in Hagger’s town had dulled some of his survival skills. One of them being up and alert when waking up from his sleep. His journey out of town was uneventful very groggy, by the time he made it back to Cindy she was eating breakfast as Dagon finally started to wake.

“Hey bro,” She said with a hand pushing some food into her mouth. The massive meal large enough to feed a few people. Before Dagon could say anything Cindy let out a muffled sound, “Whoa, you don’t look so good. Couldn’t sleep last night?”

“Fucking bed…” Dagon grunted as he took a seat nearby his sister who was still eating. “King’s still a pain in the ass.”

Cindy snorted, “Still not letting you sleep with Olivia?”

Dagon rolled his eyes showing how much he wasn’t in the mood for the conversation, “We really doing this?”

Cindy stuck out her tongue that still had clumps of rice and other food on it before slurping it back in. “You brought it up,” Cindy protested.

“Yeah? And how are things with Nancy? Huh? Last I saw, she was smelling very strongly of you-”

Dagon wasn’t ready for it as Cindy’s hand came out of nowhere and swatted at his back knocking him on his face. “WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR?!” Dagon shouted getting up.

“What are you doing smelling Nancy like some deviant!” Cindy argued looking flustered. It was clear they both knew what went down the other night. However Cindy seemed more upset at how observant Dagon was being with her relationship.

Dagon gave Cindy, a finger jab toward her, “I wasn’t fucking sniffing her!”

Cindy huffed as he retorted still clearly upset, “Sure as hell sounded like you were.”

“Oh my god,” Dagon muttered, “You have some serious problems.” Dagon looked at his still pissed off sister as he went on, “What I was trying to freaking get to, is how long are you going to wait?”

Cindy paused mid bite, “Wh-what? Wait for what?” Dagon stared at Cindy still she was starting to get nervous, “St-stop looking at me like that. What are you talking about?”

Dagon gave Cindy a dull look, “Really… we gonna play this game?”

Cindy looked as confused as she could, “What are you talking about Dagon? Brother have you lost your mind or something-”

Dagon pulled out one of his daggers and slung it fifteen feet away from where Cindy was sitting at a faintly loose pile of dirt. Cindy froze as Dagon cocked his head, “I wonder what’s under there?”

“…” Cindy looked like she was caught doing something bad. Like stealing food from Hagger’s town.

“Oh, no quirky remarks?” Dagon went on.

“… When? When did you find out,” Cindy asked sounding beyond shocked.

“I’m your freaking brother,” Dagon said sounding proud. “It was a few days after you got them.” Dagon explained. The items in question were a set diamonds. To be more exact one large chunk of diamond, possible for a giantess sized person to wear, and a smaller piece of it broken off for a more regular person. Dagon put two and two together when he dung them up one night after tripping over the uneven mound of fresh soil. It was very clear that Cindy had gotten someone to purchase it or found these diamonds and were hiding them for a moment. Dagon’s suspecions were for a moment that might involve purposing a certain question to a certain person she was seeing. Dagon went on, “So what were you going to do with those?”

Cindy was a mix of all the shades of red and pink at the question, “s-s-s-shut up!”

Dagon held up his hands, “No serriously! Come on, I mean it… Cindy, I really did…”

Cindy mummbled as she looked at the gorund, “Was gonna… ask Nancy to mar-marriage me.”

Dagon was confused. “How? How do you know about marriage?” It was a concept that was beyond foreign and unheard of by Giantess. It’s a concept that for all he knew was lost or never existed. So for Cindy to use that word, one that Dagon hadn’t ever spoke to Cindy about, brought some worry to him.

Cindy again, looking more like a child as she tried to not answer but did so, “Peter… we were talking, cause I talk to other people besides you and Nancy,” Cindy sassed before she went on. “He told me about his wife…”

Well, this was a shocker for Dagon. He thought maybe Nancy told Cindy about it or something. Never did he expect Peter to bring up a talk with his sister. Which brought up more questions of what else had he told her? Well that didn’t matter, he now had to know. Dagon went on, “So , have you asked? Does Nancy know yet?”

Cindy’s gaping mouth closed and that sadden look came over her, “No. I thought about it last night…. But like, you know, I just couldn’t. I mean, hell this is insane, I’m a giantess and she’s a- I’m mean were both-”

Dagon did a ballsy move he cut his sister off with a load of sarcasm that could have killed a bear, “OH REALLY?! I NEVER NOTICED?! WOW!” Dagon’s arms were spread wide to show off Cindy’s size. Cindy stopped her pity talk about how weird the relationship was. “Cindy you freaking been with Nancy for what three maybe four years? As your brother I have to tell you to stop freaking worrying. If she didn’t run off screaming the first week you guys were together chances are that wont happen after four years. Nancy loves you, and I can tell that you love her as much if not more back. So stop holding back and just tell her. What’s the worse she says?” Dagon asked hypothetically. Put on a very cheap and poor imitation of Nancy’s voice, “Oh Cindy that’s too big of a diamond for me… we both need to see someone else right away?” Dagon scoffed, “Yeah like that would totally happen, just go for it alright?”

Cindy was at a loss of words. Her brother tore into her worse fears, and just mocked them in front of her. As much as she wanted to give him a kick so hard he went flying back into town, she couldn’t. He did have a point. Why was she hesitant to bring this up with Nancy? They were so close. In fact the other day she told Cindy about a dream where they all lived in a big meadow together with their kids. Of course it was impossible for them to have kids together, but the dream made Cindy feel like she ate a gallon of butterflies. The fluttering in her stomach made Cindy nearly burst there and ask Nancy to marriage her.

“I… I’m still waiting for the right moment,” Cindy lied as she didn’t know when that moment would be.

Dagon rolled his eyes and was about to say something when the sound of a giantess approaching was heard. Dagon didn’t have to look twice as he already knew who it was, Melody. Dagon turned to see Melody holding Ashley, who was busy observing the forest and asking questions. Melody was answering the best she could to the rapid fire “what’s that,” questions as he child pointed to anything she could.

It wasn't’ till she spotted Dagon that she squealed and came running toward him. Dagon had a sudden urge to run away. But, he stood his ground as Ashley came running for him, like a stampeding animal.

“Not the face, not the face, not the face,” Dagon muttered under his breath, as Ashley came giggling toward him. With an effort that was scarily easy, she scooped Dagon up like a rag doll once again.

“DADDY!” She nearly screamed as she planted a childish kiss on his forehead.

“Ugggh,” Dagon groaned from the daughterly love he was receiving. As much as he loved her, he really did, he never liked this kind of greeting. However he returned the greeting, “Morning, beansprout...”

“Let’s play!” Ashley shouted excited and happy.

Dagon wasn’t ready to play some more hide and seek with Ashley just yet. Instead, he purposed a counter argument, “Did you have breakfast?” Dagon asked in a fatherly tone.

Ashley still held Dagon as she shook her head and Dagon along with herself, “No.”

Melody spoke as she arrived behind Ashley, “We were going to practice hunting for real.”

“Well,” Dagon told them, “We have plenty of food… um, sweetie, down please?”

Ashley gave Dagon one more tight hug that felt a little too strong before he was set down on the ground. It was just a quick reminder of how strong she was getting. Soon Dagon might have to worry about her picking him up too harshly, if she wasn’t too careful he could get hurt. Dagon tossed the idea out of his head as he didn’t want to think about that right now.

Stretching to pull any muscles and joints that were sore from the embrace, Dagon quickly pointed to the large amount of food Cindy had prepared, “Well, you can always have something to eat before a hunt right?”

Melody seemed a little displeased by this. As custom, you eat what you catch. It was a tradition that most of them learned at a young age, that it was your own strength and effort that produced your food. It was a way for giantess to learn to rely on oneself and not others. A giantess didn’t always have others for help. However Ashley was already being severed by Dagon.

“Here you go,” Dagon cheerfully offered some of the left over food Cindy had cooked this morning.

Melody was about to object her opinion on how Dagon was treating their daughter but it was too late, as Ashley was already digging in. “I guess we can always try another day,” Melody muttered to herself as she proceeded to sit down with everyone else. Ashley was beginning to repeat the terms of some of the stuff that Melody taught her along the way. All of which Dagon knew clearly, but being the kind father, kept up the surprised acted for the young one. Melody wondered, could her own father have been like Dagon? Was this something all fathers were like?

As Dagon entertained Ashley, Melody had a chance to talk with Cindy. Usually the conversations weren’t very engaging, Melody always felt weird about talking to Dagon’s sister. Especially when it came to Giantess things. She was an odd one, and although Melody was turning over a new leaf with some of her ways, it wasn’t as simple as she thought it would be. Just the other night she had a craving for a certain type of food she swore not to eat anymore….

“How are things,” Melody asked probing out at Cindy.

Cindy paused mid bit before swallowing, “Good… uh, fine I guess. What uh, what about you?”

Melody shrugged, “Fine too.”

The weird pause as Dagon and Ashley continued to bond while the two larger woman couldn’t do more than watch. “So, you’re leaving soon,” Cindy asked. “Almost the end of the month.”

Melody nodded, “I’m thinking tomorrow or the next day. Was going to take Ashley north… I might still have some family up there. I should introduce the newest member of the family.”

“Family,” Dagon asked at a topic they never talked about. “I didn’t know you had family up there.”

Melody nodded, “Yeah. We try to meet every couple of years, and it’s been a while. Normally when there's a gathering up north, we run into each other. Usually my mom or one of my little sisters. I figured Ashley should get to meet my side of the family. I know my mother would be delighted to meet this little cutie,” Melody said scooping up the unprepared Ashley who giggled at the cuddling Melody was giving her.

Dagon did his best not to envy Ashley. His own thoughts drifting to his mom and how she treated him. Not something he stayed too much time on. Instead he was just happy to be able to share moments with his large daughter. It was rare for a giantess to have a father present, especially one that wasn’t being held captive.

Melody continued to hold Ashley in her hands. The child giggling as Melody gave her a tickle, and kept her entertained. It didn’t take too long before Olivia came by. She was walking through the forest with Nancy in tow.

Dagon smiled as Olivia came up to him and gave him a kiss. “You didn’t stay the night?”

Dagon just gave a weak shrug, “I wanted to talk with Peter.” Dagon didn’t explain more, and Olivia didn’t press it. Dagon had a feeling if he complained about her father, it might just lead into worse problems between him and her dad.

Olivia wore a strong smile on her face as she held Dagon’s hand, “Thanks… for dealing with last night. I know it was hard with all of them there. That meant a lot to my father and I.”

“Yeah well… the food was good,” Dagon replied. He tried to play around the food as the reason he went but Olivia gave him a simple scoff and rolled her eyes not believing such a silly lie.

“Of course, just using me to get to my chiefs… should have known.”

Dagon grinned, “Hey I thought you know that from the begin. Why else do you think I’ve been hanging around.”

“Oh… well if that’s the case, I guess I should learn to cook to keep you around longer,” Olivia commented.

Dagon was at a lose of words. “That … would… be good,” Dagon spoke like a child who didn’t know how to come up with a good come back. He was bewildered at Olivia words, that he almost didn’t notice Nancy presenting herself to Cindy.

“My God-”

“SHHH!” Cindy hissed as she blushed. Dagon never seen Cindy move so quickly to keep someone quite. “I told you,” Cindy spoke through her teeth, “When were alone!”

Nancy never broke as she knew how to manipulate Cindy’s embarrassment to her needs. “But this is how I always greet-”

Dagon watched as Cindy quickly scooped up Nancy and brought her way up toward her face where they were having a “private” conversation. Apparently Nancy had forced Cindy to silence her. After a few brief moments Cindy slowly lowered Nancy back to the ground. Dagon, as a victim to the smooching of giantess, he could tell that Nancy was covered in such a familiar act. Soft and faint traces of oval wet marks covering not just Nancy’s face but part of her clothing. A faint smile of happiness danced on the maid’s face as she stood there, not saying a word.

“Well played,” Dagon whispered smirking at his sister’s way of silencing her girlfriend.

Ashley was the first to speak “Hide and seek!”

Dagon flinched at the upcoming game. Not wanting to have to endure another game of “Find daddy and squeeze the life out of him” Dagon gave a weak smile, “Aren’t you bored of that game?”

Ashley answered quicker than Dagon was expecting, “NOPE!”

A very tiring and long game of hide and seek left Dagon physically exhausted. His body felt like it was pushed through a strainer as his daughter was starting to hug much harder now. Soon she would bee too old for this game, that or Dagon would break a bone or two. Still, if it meant bonding with her… what’s an arm or a leg for a happy daughter, right?

Dagon let out an exhausted sigh as he sat down near Olivia who offered her lap to rest his head on. “She’s so much like her father,” Olivia commented. “Strong…”

Dagon let out a snort… “All Giantess are.”

“Determined,” Olivia remarked still going on.

“Determined to snap me in half…” Dagon grunted.

“Let’s not mention how much she takes after her dad,” Olivia spoke rubbing a sore shoulder. “Anyone can clearly see she’s your daughter. She resembles you so much. Those cheeks… that adorable smile, and let’s not forget how much quick she is at picking up new things,” Olivia praised Ashley who was busy playing with her mom.

“Sure, sure….” Dagon mumbled. “She’s like her father in every way, except the eyes,” Dagon remarked halfheartedly. He was more interested in laying in Olivia’s lap, like a pillow he wished he had last night.

Olivia paused, “Except her eyes?”

Dagon sighed and rolled his head on his shoulders getting a few crinks out with some pops. “yeah… Giantess, they pass their eyes onto their kids.”

Olivia frowned at those words as she didn’t know what Dagon was saying. “What do you mean?”

Dagon shifted his head to look at Olivia from her lap. “Look…. You see my eyes? Now, look at Cindy’s….”

Olivia did as he asked, and blinked a few times…. They were identical. Not like close… but like every dark blue and light patch that was mixed into their iris were spot for spot. Almost like a duplicated painting.

“Now look at Ashley’s and Melody’s,” Dagon went on.

Olivia did. Ashley shared no resemblance in her eyes with Dagon. Dagon and Cindy had blue and sparkling sky like eyes. Melody and Ashley had dark muddy brown eyes, some splotches of lighter or darker around the edges. Kind of like the bark of a tree. As Olivia noticed Dagon spoke as he closed his eyes and rested them.

“It’s a genetic thing… or that’s what I was told from my mother,” The word “mother” was harsh on his tongue. “It’s how generations could tell each other apart. The color of one’s eyes told of their heritage. The myth behind it was so you wouldn’t sleep with a brother or father, you know when one captured a male… but I think that’s all just a load of crap. Anyway, Giantess pass their eyes down to their children no matter what, so that’s why Ashley’s eyes look like Melody’s, it’s the family trait.”

“So, your mom had blue eyes,” Olivia asked out loud.

Dagon sighed as he thought over it, “… I guess? Look, I didn’t like my mom. I hated her. She wasn’t a mom to me. To be honest, I never looked deeply enough in her eyes to compare them. If she never told me that fact for whatever reason, I wouldn’t have even considered it. As long as I’m concerned I never had a mom.”

Olivia could feel it was a tough subject to talk about and decided to stay away from the new information she learned. Instead she decided to change it into something more friendly for Dagon. “So my father has another dinner coming up next week, I was hoping you wouldn’t mind being… Nice, you know again….”

Dagon closed his eyes at the words and groaned mentally. “Another dinner? Did we not just have on last night?”

Olivia rolled her eyes and laughed, “We did… if you didn’t know, we have them regularly.” Olivia mentioned “So yes, another dinner. You don’t have to-”

Dagon let out a painful sigh, “NO… no I’ll go. At least the food helped. Just wish we could talk about something other than politics and junk,” Dagon waved his hands around, “stuff… like seriously, maybe like how to skin a-”

Olivia laughed as she soothed Dagon some more, “I can’t promise the political part… kind of the point of the dinner, but I can promise good food. So is that a yes?”

Dagon groaned and slowly nodded, “yeah… yeah I’ll go.” Olivia smiled at the response.

The rest of the afternoon was tame, mostly just talk, a little meal for everyone. Finally it was coming closer to the evening. Nancy was going to stay with Cindy for the night, Dagon was going to take Olivia back, and Melody was going to leave in the morning for the long trip to the north. Dagon figured he would see her off.

“It’s just a week,” Melody told him. “I’ve been gone longer.”

“Yeah well… a week or longer, I still want to wish you luck.” Dagon offered.

Melody let out a soft chuckle, “I’m a giantess! Are you worried about me?”

Dagon sighed, “More for Ashley than you, but yes… just stay safe. I’ve heard some stuff is going on up north, just stay out of trouble.”

Ashley was tuckered out, but Melody still got down lower toward Dagon’s level to speak, “Ahhh, my sweet Dagon is concerned. Don’t worry, there isn’t anything that will keep us apart. Just like before, I’ll find my way back to you.”

Dagon felt some comfort in her words, but also felt a bit concerned that they might have been a bit too personal. After all Dagon was with someone else, and for Melody to clam she would be back for him, made it sound like they were destine for each other. Something that Dagon wasn’t sure of. However, Dagon didn’t need to bring this up.

“Just keep Ashley safe, but I’m sure I didn’t need to say that right?”

Melody laughed, “We’ll be fine, stop being so worried. We’re giantess after all.”

Dagon didn’t say it but he didn’t like Melody's mentality of being a giantess was safety enough.

“I’ll see you in a week,” Daogn told Melody.

“In a week, my lovely Dagon,” Melody told him as she gave him a smooch that rivaled Ashley’s…. what was with Giantess and kissing???

Dagon sat on a stump trying to hear a faint sound of a giantess approaching, but there was none. It had been well past a week, in fact almost three weeks, and Melody hadn’t returned. Dagon sat there, contemplating what might have delayed her for so long. Yet like before, the days have passed and there was no Melody or Ashley. They hadn’t come back from the visit north. Something that concerned Dagon greatly.

“Dagon,” Cindy called out as she noticed her brother still waiting and watching the horizon for something. “Are you okay?”

Dagon took a deep breath as he sat there. Not a single tremor besides his sister indicated the return of Melody. Dagon felt a feeling building up in him. “Something's not right,” Dagon spoke softly.

“What was that,” Cindy asked not catching it.

Dagon stood up from the stump, “Somethings happened.”

Cindy looked startled, “What?”

Dagon jumped down from the large tree stump, “I’m leaving-”

“The fuck you are,” Cindy protested.

Dagon jerked his head toward Cindy at her objection, “What?! Are you-”

“I’m coming!” Cindy blurted out so fast Dagon nearly stumbled on his word.

“… uh… well,” Dagon shrugged after a few moments of confusing. “Okay, not going to lie, thought you were coming anyway.”

Cindy jerked back, “You what?! Oh I see cause I’m your sister I would follow you to the ends of the Earth? Whoa, thanks so much bro, that’s so reassuring that I’m a freaking glorified pack mule!”

Dagon shook his head, “Well I mean if you don’t want to help your niece…”

“HEY! Oooooo” Cindy barked narrowing her eyes at her tricky brother, “That’s a fucking low blow. Gonna use your daughter against me like that!”

Dagon just shrugged, “Like you said, I need a pack mule…”

Cindy gave Dagon the dirtiest of looks. Yeah, he was so going to regret saying that.

But to be honest, Dagon wouldn’t trust anyone more than Cindy to watch his back. Especially when it came to something like this. As Dagon packed up his stuff and Cindy pulled the larger gear of their camp apart, he spoke to her. “Thanks… I mean it.” The seriousness in his voice told Cindy how much this meant. Cindy just nodded.

“For family right? You said it not me, I’d do anything for my niece. Now shut up and pack your shit up.” Cindy ordered.

Dagon smirked at the order. “You know I love you right?”

Cindy gave a sharp laugh escape her lips. Cindy made sure to be enough sarcasm in her voice, “Like a fucking blister on my foot. Thanks for ruining my life. Now if you’re finished trying to get on my good side,” Cindy retorted, “Hurry the heck up! You tiny people and your little hands… ”

Dagon scoffed as he grabbed the last of his “shit”, “Yeah yeah, what about you big hands! You got everything? You got your…. Stones?”

Cindy paused as she looked at the ground and paused.

“I… well,” Cindy starred for a moment but shook her head, “They’re safe. Nothing to worry about, UNLIKE YOU!” Cindy barked. “Come on you bum, the sooner we leave the quicker we can find Ashley and Melody and the sooner I can flick you for being a freaking worry wart over them.” Cindy retorted.

Dagon wanted to believe that but, well he had that feeling. Cindy probably did too, but luckily she was trying to ease his mind so he didn’t freaking panic. Beside Melody was a giantess, there shouldn’t be much that could harm her, right?

End Notes:

Let me know what you think, still not 100% if this needed a sequel but I do have a few ideas of where it goes and hopefully some ideas help solidify the path it's gonna take.  If you find any mistakes please let me know, thanks.

Chapter 2 by Kickyou

“I still think we should have said goodbye,” Cindy complained as she walked through the heavily forested area dipping past the tree branches.

“And then what? Have Olivia and Nancy try to join us?” Dagon retorted at the idea. Nothing like having the people you care about making things more complicated than it needed to be. Dagon shook his head and sarcastically went on. “Yeah totally, let’s have the princess follow us into Giantess territory looking for GIANTESS. I’m soooo sure her dad would thank me for dragging his daughter with us. What could possibly go wrong,” Dagon put enough sass in that last part he felt like he might have just jinxed themselves.

Cindy huffed, “Well, when you put it like that fine, but I still feel bad not telling them-”

Dagon grumbled at his sister’s nagging and finally said, “Oh please, I’m not that dumb. I left a note.”

Cindy nearly stumbled at her brother's words, nearly getting caught up in a random root from the shock. “You what- when?”

“Well,” Dagon mulled over his answer for a brief moment, “I might have… kind of… been planning on leaving sooner than you thought.”

Cindy stopped in the dense forest as she turned to her brother sitting on her shoulder, “Excuse me…” She sounded upset and confused, “What do you mean, you were going to leave sooner than I thought?”

Dagon tried to do some recovery before the conversation got ugly. If Cindy looked any harder at Dagon he swore he would have combusted from the glare of heated look she bore at him. “Look, I got worried after the first week…. I was kind of planning on leaving like, I don’t know,” Dagon tried to draw out his answer but it only made Cindy madder. “Like, last week?”

Cindy looked stunned, “You were going to leave last week?!”

Dagon held up his hands, “Well I mean I didn’t! I was thinking about it, that’s all. It was just a thought that’s all.”

Cindy narrowed her eyes at her brother as she continued to glare at the idiot of a brother. “And you weren’t going to tell me when you left, were you?”

“Uh… ummm, no?” Dagon said feeling kind of guilty at the question and his lame response.

“Are you serious?!” Cindy complained as she continued to walk. “You were just going to leave me to try and look for-”

Dagon couldn’t help but argue with his sister, “I said I was thinking about it! I didn’t do it, it just crossed my mind.”

Cindy rolled her shoulders, causing Dagon to nearly fall off.  He had to quickly steady himself at her reaction, “Oh yeah, you were just thinking about it. Nothing like waking up and finding your brother gone cause he didn’t think I needed to know.”

Dagon shook his head, “I was gonna say something.”

Cindy shook her head as she dodged a low hanging branch, “Sure you were.” It looked like Cindy wasn’t as certain of his confession. “Just like how you told Olivia?”

“Okay, look,” Dagon quickly cut her off, “She’s already been through enough out here.” Dagon gestured to the woods. “You think she needed to come with us to help find Melody and Ashley?” Dagon paused as Cindy didn’t speak, “Let’s be honest,” Dagon spoke sounding harsher than he should have been, “What would Olivia, or hell even Nancy, even help with? Huh? Do they know how to travel out here in the wild? Do they know what food is poisonous? Do you think they know how to avoid Giantess in Giantess territory? Can they hunt?” What good was it to bring those two with them? Dagon knew he was right. Yet Cindy still seemed uncertain.

“It just feels weird, or I don’t know, wrong not talking to them about it…” Cindy suggested sounding guilty.

Dagon took a deep breath to help calm his voice, “Look, it’s like a few days to Brax town. It’ll take a day or so to get information and find any trace of Giantess up there. A few days to find them, and then it’s only a few days back. It’ll be like a week at most, we’ll be back before they even miss us.” Dagon offered. “I said we’re going to be gone for a little while. There’s nothing that would give them a reason to worry. Besides I told Peter about it, and to make sure to keep them calm, reassuring them and stuff.” Dagon explained, sounding relaxed. “We’re fine. Just stop worrying.”

Cindy wanted to, she really did. However, if there was anyone she knew better than her brother, it would be Nancy. Cindy had a sinking feeling that Nancy would see through the bullshit that Dagon might have said in the letter, to read past the words and understand that they left Hagger’s town to go somewhere dangerous and possibly life threatening. However, as worried as Cindy was, she tried to trust her brother and the letter he left for Olivia. He hoped it calmed them both and they would stay safe in town. Because if there was one thing that Cindy agreed with Dagon, is that Nancy didn’t need to be out here and put at risk. It was bad enough Cindy had to watch after her dummy of a brother, looking after one person was easier than three.

Olivia glared at the letter as she read it the fourth time wanting to strangle Dagon yet again. One of her maids had woken her up with a letter. She was excited to see Dagon’s note, that was till she had read it. It was preposterous of a notion for Dagon and Cindy to leave and head off to Brax. The letter itself told her not to worry, but that was silly as she clearly was worried for him and Cindy. The north was in a completely different situation than around here, and for them to try and look for Melody and Ashely was ridiculous without some extra help.

“Nancy,” Olivia called out, waiting for her most trusted maid to come into her room. “Do you know anything about this?” Olivia asked as she handed the letter to her, still looking upset at Dagon’s idiocy.

Nancy read over the letter twice before she shook her head. Knowing Nancy for a long time, it was rare to see her as shocked as she was now. It was clear she was in the dark as well. “No, my princess. I was unaware about any of this.”

“Why didn’t he say anything,” Olivia muttered, not feeling content with the letter. Olivia was still sitting in bed, “I mean,” Olivia protested, “I could have sent some guards to escort him there!”

Nancy shifted already looking a little off. She spoke softly, “But then how would Cindy travel with Dagon? You may not like it, but Cindy is most likely the best protection for Dagon.”

Olivia’s mouth opened but found the flaw in her plan as it slowly shut, “I… you’re right. Guards would only hinder him,” Olivia spoke as she got out of bed and slowly walked around. Still in her pajamas Olivia tried to think of what she could do. Her boyfriend… oh that did sound weird.  Even after so long together they hardly used the title boyfriend or girlfriend.  So using that word felt embarrassing.

Olivia shook her head as she focused, HER BOYFRIEND, needed her help. Even with his sister, there was no guarantee that they would make it to Brax safely by themselves. If Olivia was there she could have helped somehow, she just knew it. Yet, he was already gone and without warning her in the least bit of time.

“I… I think we should follow,” Olivia suggested. For a moment Nancy looked confused. It was her job to protect her, but she also had hard feelings for a certain large woman that was clouding her judgment. Before Nancy could speak, Olivia went on, “They could get into trouble. What would happen if they needed help? If we follow them, we can easily help them out of whatever problem they run into, right? This wouldn’t be my first time out of these walls, I know a thing or two,” Olivia spoke, sounding confident in herself.

“I don’t know princess… That seems dangerous,” Nancy spoke trying to get her words of worry out of her mouth. Nancy totally agreed with the princes right now. She definitely wanted to follow Cindy and help in anyway she could, just like Olivia wanted to. However, there was the fact that she would be putting Olivia, the princess, in danger by leaving the walls of the city and into the wild. As much as Nancy wanted to, she couldn’t agree with the princess. Her job came above all else, and that meant keeping Olivia safe and inside the city.

Olivia sighed as she tossed the note to the side of the bed as she went to sit down on her bed. “Dagon left me with a single note just out of nowhere.   How am I supposed to feel about that?” Olivia asked as she fumbled through the letter once again. She couldn’t help but feel agitated, “He can’t just think of sending a letter to tell me not to worry and run off with Cindy and be expected to stay calm!”

Nancy remained calm, but deep down she couldn’t help but feel the same, “Princess, maybe we should act rationally. Cindy is very capable of keeping her brother safe,” Nancy spoke recalling how protective and exceptional Cindy was. Something that tickled Nancy on a deeper level, something she never spoke to Olivia about.

Olivia wanted to believe that, but her journey to Luther’s Town reminded her of how dangerous it was out there. “So you don’t think we should do anything,” Olivia asked, sounding worried and powerless, something she hated to feel.

Nancy was quiet for a moment before responding, “I think Dagon and Cindy are very capable people. I don’t think there is anyone I trust more. I know it might be painful to stay calm and wait, but I think it’s for the best.”

“Fine,” Olivia sighed.  It sounded like she was slowly accepting it now.  “It’s just a week. They’ll be back before father even starts to miss Dagon.”

Nancy didn’t speak, but she found the king missing Dagon to be a very impossible event. Still, Nancy just nodded and started to do her maidly duties. Helping Olivia change out of her pajamas and into her daily clothes. Making the bed and cleaning up, preparing the bed for Olivia to sleep in tonight, and whatever other chores she had left, anything that she could think of just to take her mind off Cindy.

Dagon was looking around the barren landscape. It had a lot less trees, ones that had already lost most of their green for the upcoming winter. There were still plenty of rocks and thick tree trunks for Cindy to use to hide behind if need be, but Dagon could already feel the chill in the air. It was amazing how much different this part of the land was to Hagger’s town.

“Jeez, I should have brought a coat,” Dagon muttered, shivering slightly.

“Oh poor you,” Cindy muttered. “At least a coat would fit you. What about me?”

Dagon rubbed his hands together and blew into them, something the two of them had been doing every so often to warm up.  “It’s just a few days. Besides the worst case scenario, we have to skin something for the two of us.”

Cindy scoffed, “Oh yeah? Let’s just go and find thirty or so wolves and just make a giant pelt out of them, I’m sure it would warm my legs at night…”

Dagon didn’t comment but he could tell that his sister had a point. Harvesting enough fur to make something for her would take a lot of time. Heck it never really dropped too cold around Hagger’s town, so they never bother making much clothing besides the small little loincloth and makeshift bra that covered Cindy’s private parts.

“Melody said she was coming up here for family, right? I don’t know how they stand it. I guess if there are Giantess around, maybe you could trade something for a giantess size blanket or clothing”

“Trade them with what,” Cindy asked, arching an eyebrow. Before Dagon could answer Cindy smirked, “I guess I could trade you. At least then you would be helping your sister out, by keeping me warm.”

Dagon gasped at her, “You wouldn’t.”

“I don’t know brother, let’s see how cold it gets tonight,” Cindy gave Dagon a playful grin.

Dagon shook his head at her words, “Well sounds like I better find a way to keep you warm so I’m not sold off for some stupid shirt.”

Dagon spotted a nice little grove etched into the side of one of the rocky mountians nearby. Well it wasn’t little to Dagon, it looked to be large enough for Cindy to crawl up against and lay down in. Dagon would have considered it a cave, but it wasn’t deep enough for shelter, and Cindy almost didn’t fit all the way inside. It would at least give Cindy protection against the winds coming in from three different directions. Hopefully it won't get too windy or cold tonight.

“God I already hate it up here,” Cindy muttered, shivering a little as she proceeded to sit down on the cold ground.

“Yeah no shit,” Dagon grumbled with just as much enthusiasm. “Why the hell would Melody want to travel up here anyway?  You think their family thing would be somewhere less cold!”

Cindy shrugged, “I don’t know, but this is the last time I’m coming up here to find her. Sorry brother, love you and everything, but this sucks. Next time you can do it all on your own.”

“Let’s start a fire before the sun goes down. I’ll have to find some sort of food, hopefully there’s something to eat around here.” Dagon headed off a little ways, climbing chunks of ground and rocks.  The bumpy surface of the region was annoying, but it did come with perks of hiding Cindy’s size. Dagon had to double check every once in a while to make sure a group of rocks were actually rocks and not a giantess hiding behind something.

Cindy gathered the larger branches of the plenty of dried trees for a decent fire tonight, while Dagon hunted for some sort of food. He found a few small game, rabbits and a squirrel, but nothing decent for Cindy. Dagon was chasing after another small creature, when it quickly ducked into an entrance of a cave that was slightly taller and wider than Dagon. Listening to the sound of the animal scurrying around in the dark, Dagon slowly entered the dark cavern.

Dagon stood in the dimly lit cave, listening and letting his eyes slowly adjust to the little lighting provided. Drops of water could be heard collecting in some kind of puddle or water source echoing a little deeper in the dark. Dagon waited a few minutes, and his eyes were just able to make out shapes in the dark, enough to know where to step and not trip, but not enough to see all of the cave. Dagon moved a little deeper into the rocky hole, looking for the rabbit that jumped inside for protection. It was just too dark for Dagon to make out the creature and he was starting to think it wasn’t worth spending all his time trying to hunt a little meal like that in this cave. He was on the verge of leaving when he heard something. It was breathing. A heavy but controlled breath. It sounded like something was asleep. Dagon was just deep enough in the cave that the light from the entrance gave barely enough sight for Dagon to make out the large boulder moving.

No, not a boulder, it was a cave bear. The size of the thing was easily three times Dagon’s weight. The thing was big, and looked to be hibernating or at least in a deep sleep, that was for sure.

“Oh shit,” Dagon whispered, seeing the slumbering mountain of fur. This was a nice find, especially with it being so defenseless in here sleeping. Dagon slowly pulled out his blades as quietly as possible and started to approach the bear. If he was fast enough and just a pinch of luck, he could strike the bear before it woke up or even tried to attack him. Dagon could hear and smell the gnarly breath from the beast as it continued to sleep. Making out the head of the bear, Dagon was about to go for the neck when another sound came from behind. It was more breathing. Tucked in a corner of the cave, was yet another bear in the dark. If the bear Dagon was about to kill was big, then this one was massive. It was easily large enough to kill Dagon with one paw swipe. Not even tempted to say the words “Oh shit” again, as it could possibly wake any of the beasts, Dagon was at a loss. One bear he could take, two? Now that was just asking for it. Any noise, like the sounds of a dying bear, would wake the other and Dagon wasn’t sure he could take either of them if they were awake.

However this was too good of a situation to pass up, praying that his luck held out, Dagon quietly snuck out of the cave and hurried to find his sister.

Cindy didn’t seem too happy about Dagon’s news. “I don’t know, I feel kind of bad about it,” Cindy sadly remarked. “I mean it’s one thing if they are awake and you cornered them but… while they're sleeping? That just doesn’t feel right to me. Almost cruel.”

Dagon understood how his sister felt however, “I know, I know. And I wouldn’t have asked you to do this if we weren’t talking about enough food to make it to Brax’s Town. I’m telling you, I’ll have enough fur to make a shawl to cover your shoulders.”

“That doesn’t seem like a lot,” Cindy commented as she thought about it while heading toward the cave Dagon mentioned.

Dagon felt like trying to lighten the mood a little by joking around, “Well, it’s more for me. Cause your shoulders are so damn chilly-”

“Oh I see, so you were just thinking of yourself again,” Cindy retourted. “You just want to make your ride to Brax just a little more warm and cozy, huh?” The bitter tone in Cindy’s voice was a little harsh but Dagon knew she was just playing back as she poked at Dagon with her finger.

Dagon laughed as he pushed the digit away, “I told you it’s cold! Anyway, it’s right over there.” Dagon pointed to the opening to the cave he discovered not too long ago. Cindy set Dagon down by the outside of the cavern as she tried to peer inside the dark cave.

“I can’t see anything,” Cindy whispered, trying her best not to wake whatever was up in there.

“Trust me, they’re there,” Dagon told Cindy.

Slowly Cindy nodded and laid down as she tried to get as level with the opening. Cindy slowly started to insert her hand. Dagon watched her wrist pass the opening and creep into the darkness. Suddenly she jerked her hand back out, “Wait,” She whispered shooting Dagon a weary look, “This isn’t like that one time, where you pranked me to grab something I DID NOT want to touch…”

Dagon chuckled at the memory of tricking Cindy. “Okay to be fair,” Dagon said not too loudly, “That was pretty funny.”

“It was not,” Cindy hissed at Dagon.

“Fine, fine, but no. I’m not tricking you,” Dagon told her as honest as he could be with his sister.

Cindy was hesitant again, her eyes narrowing at him, before she slowly put her hand into the cave. Dagon watched and listened as Cindy stuck her arm in. Soon Cindy had her arm elbow deep in the cave, “I don’t feel anything but rocks…”

“A little deeper,” Dagon told her.

“I swear to God Dagon… If you are pranking me right now,” Cindy warned, rolling her eyes as she moved closer to the cave and shoved more of her arm in. Soon Cindy had her arm up to her shoulder searching around the cavern. Dagon almost was worried that she couldn’t reach the sleeping bears, but the sudden look of shock on Cindy’s face and her reaction told Dagon she found one.

“OH shit, that is big,” Cindy said, yanking her hand out of the cave holding one of the bears. The big beast was freaking out at the sight of Cindy and the sudden awakening of its sleep. Cindy made quick work of the bear that filled her hands, going for the kill and silencing the animal, Cindy made quick work of it.   “Wow,” Cindy exclaimed looking at the bigger than her fist size bear. “and you said there’s another one in there?”

Dagon nodded, but he heard the sounds of a very upset and infuriated bear roaring in the cave. Dagon got his blades out, ready for a charging raging bear, but it didn’t seem to be leaving the protection of the cave. Cindy put the dead bear down near Dagon and started to get ready to reach for the other bear.

“Wait,” Dagon quickly told his sister.

Cindy paused, “What?”

“I’ll go get it,” Dagon told her as he headed for the cave, ready for combat.

“What? No.  Why?” Cindy portested, sounding confused at Dagon’s reasoning.

Dagon looked at Cindy and then back at the cave where the enraged bear was still making upset noises. “Because now it’s awake. It was fine if one was asleep, but the other one is so much bigger. That thing could bite your thumb off or something.  Don’t worry I got this.”

Cindy seemed alarmed at Dagon's words, but the worry only seemed to build as she started to think about it. “So-so what? Are you going to go in there instead of me? If it can bite my thumb off, what do you think it’s gonna do to you?!”

“I’ll be fine,” Dagon lied. Honestly he wasn’t sure why he was gonna do this, they had enough food for the night. However, something told Dagon they would be better off with more food and the extra fur would keep Cindy warm. Dagon started to head back into the cave when Cindy’s hand came out of nowhere, blocking off the entrance.

“No way little brother, I’m not letting you in there with that thing,” Cindy demanded.

Dagon rolled his eyes, “So you rather we just leave it in there? Cindy I don’t know how much food is out here but this could be the last BIG meal we find.”

“Well,” Cindy said, sitting up and crossing her arms over her chest, not budging on letting Dagon go in there, “You better just think up a better solution than. Cause as long as I’m here, your not getting in there.”

Dagon threw his head back and groaned at his dumb sister’s mentatlity, “Why are you like this…”

Cindy didn’t say anything but it was clear she was standing her ground. Shaking his head Dagon tried to think of what they could do to try and lure or chase out the bear from the cave. Nothing came to mind for a few moments. The silence between Dagon and Cindy was only broken by the sound of some trees moving in the wind, branches creaking.

“I got it, grab some branches,” Dagon ordered Cindy.

“A please would be nice,” Cindy huffed. Just as Cindy got up to move away from the cave she spun around and looked at Dagon like a parent would at a child that would be up to no good, “You better not be distracting me to run in there!”

Dagon threw his hands up at her paraionai, “Do you really not trust me at all-”

Cindy let out a bitter laugh, “Not really. I mean come on…”

Dagon shook his head, “I promise.” Cindy smiled at his words, taking his promise to heart. Granted, if Dagon's recent plan wasn’t so brilliant, he would have charged into the cave without Cindy knowing. However there was no need to be so reckless, not with a giantess with him. Once Cindy got a decent size of piled up wood set at the entrance of the cave, Dagon started a fire. “Alright, give it some air, and blow the smoke into the cave.” Dagon told Cindy who looked confused.

“What’s that gonna do?”

“Were gonna smoke it out, or maybe even better knock it out.” Cindy did as Dagon told her. She blew on the bonfire and pushed a good smokey cloud of black and gray air into the cavern. Something Dagon wouldn’t have been able to do at his size, but having someone who had a much larger lung capacity than him, well this was just down right ingenious.

Cindy continued to blow smoke from their fire into the cave. The noises of the bear started to increase with agitation after a few minutes of blowing. Dagon stood there waiting for the cave bear to do something besides make roars. Finally after the tenth or so breath from Cindy, Dagon heard movement. The sound of paws slapping rocks filled the cavern as the bear was making a rush for the entrance. Dagon pulled his dagger out again and got into a crouch position, ready to react to the bear’s charge. Just as Cindy was gonna puff another blast, another hefty smoky cloud into the cavern, a bear almost too big to fit out the opening, came bursting out. It made a frightened noise at Cindy’s size and appearance and the fire burning before it.  However it never slowed down as it charged at the only “safe” direction, toward Dagon. Dagon was ready to attack the big bear that was attempting to get past him. Dagon’s hands gripped his blades and was prepared to do a roll and-

The bear let out a startled cry as Cindy ’s hands were on it faster than Dagon could react. He stumbled as he started his lunge for the bear’s throat, only to have Cindy pick up the bear with both her hands. “OH JEEZ HE’S A BIG ONE!” She shouted trying to keep the beast in both her hands, but finding it difficult. Dagon watched his sister do the same thing with this bear as the last one, killing it quickly and silencing its thrashing and roaring. As it lay limp in her hands, Dagon could see just how big the beast really was. Its maw could have easily fit Dagon’s head in it with one bite. Maybe he was acting a little too cocky thinking he could have taken it.

“Good job,” Dagon told Cindy as he relaxed with the threat dealt with.  Dagon put his weapons away and sighed a breath of relief.

“That’s it,” Cindy asked, sounding hurt and looking unappreciated.

Dagon looked confused, “That’s it, what?”

Cindy blew a raspberry at Dagon, “I just saved your life, and all I get is a GOOD JOB?”

Dagon sputtered, “Saved my life? Oh please I totally had that thing where I wanted it. If you didn’t butt in I would have killed it faster than you did.”

“OH PLEASE,” Cindy’s retort at his response, hit Dagon hard, “You were shaking in your boots, I saw it. You were gonna freeze up.”

“Fr-freeze up?!” Dagon was beyond stunned at the comment. He never froze.

“Yup,” Cindy smirked, “You’re just lucky I was here to save you. You're welcome, little brother.”

“I- I can’t believe this!” Dagon shouted as he pointed at his sister, “You’re lucky there were only two of them. I would have shown you what I could do to the third one, just to shut you up!”

“Too bad we’ll never know now, right,” Cindy stuck her tongue out at Dagon.

“Fine,” Dagon said, throwing his hands up and walking past Cindy. He figured if she was gonna play her games like that, he could play his own games. “I guess you’re right. You killed them. I guess you can prepare your kills, right? Cleaning and cooking YOUR prey, right? What do you need me for right?”

Cindy’s taunting died down as her smile faded faster than the dying fire, “Wh-what?”

Dagon grinned as he started to head back to camp not bothering to touched the bears that Cindy killed. “I mean I got my food,” Dagon said, referring to the small animals he caught. “I’m sure you can take care of your own stuff right? A big Giantess like you can take care of herself right?”

“Dagon… that’s-that’s not funny,” Cindy called out, “You-you know how I get around… that kind of stuff. The blood and,” Dagon didn’t look back to see Cindy but he could clearly hear her shudder at the idea of how messy she thought it would be.

Dagon laughed, “You’ll be fineeee, you can take care of the rest, cause I mean it was all you right? I shouldn’t bother helping with something that you did all by yourself, right? Like mom used to say, you keep what you kill.”

Dagon hated referring to mom, but it helped drill in the point as Cindy picked up the bears and started after him.  “Okay okay, I take it back,” She whined.

Cindy watched Dagon prepare their meals. She did her best not to look when it got to the grizzly part. Cindy could only stomach so much of the process, however when it came to it, she couldn’t get around it. Maybe it was Dagon always watching over her, but he always prepared the meals for her. Luckily when it came to food, if it was prepared and cooked she was fine eating it. What she would do without Dagon was beyond her, as Dagon was already starting to set up their food for the next couple of days.

Trying not to look at the messy process Dagon was going through cutting into the animals, Cindy looked out into the dark night wondering what Nancy was doing right now. She was probably taking care of Olivia in the warm massive home she helped keep clean. Did Nancy miss her? They didn’t really get to say goodbye and part of Cindy hated that she left Nancy without a single word. Did Nancy resent her for following her brother? Surely she could understand that he needed her help right? When Cindy got back she would make sure to make it up to Nancy. She would show her how much she meant to her by giving her the greatest gift she could offer. Cindy would propose to Nancy once they got back.

The sound of snapping brought Cindy’s attention back to Dagon, “Hey, did you hear me?”

“Of course,” Cindy snapped at Dagon’s tone trying to play off his question.

“...So?” Dagon asked, examining Cindy with a knowing look.

“Uh… sure…” Cindy said, trying to act like she knew what he asked. Dagon just gave her a long look before she broke, “Fine, I didn’t hear you… what did you say?”

“I was asking you about the fur. Did you want me to make it into anything special? Leg warmers, thighs, arms… other more… private parts,” Dagon asked, gesturing in Cindy’s sensitive areas.

“Uh, shoulders are fine,” Cindy remarked as she tried to return to her thoughts.

Dagon on the other hand didn’t stop, “Something on your mind?”

Cindy sighed. Of course he would pick up on her mood so easily. “I… I miss her. I love you brother, but I love her too. Like, I don’t know, I don’t want to pick-”

Dagon laughed, cutting Cindy off, “Don’t pick. Look, I know how much you love Nancy. It’s not even a contest between us. This means the world to me, helping me with finding Melody and Ashley is something I’ll owe you big for. I know at first I wasn’t going to ask you, sorry. I thought I should do this on my own,” Dagon sighed, “But you were already there ready to help. The only reason I didn’t object was cause I knew you would argue for days to come with me, and it would only take me longer to leave.” Dagon laughed again, “I’m expecting Nancy to keep you from being stupid, like right now, and let me do some crazy shit without dragging you into it.”

Cindy shook her head, “This isn't stupid. Ashely is part of the family… and…” It took Cindy a moment to say it, “So is Melody, to an extent. You’re wrong about one thing brother.” Cindy leaned in to look at Dagon hard, “This isn't about you. I want to find them just as bad as you. You were the only family I had after mom died. Now we have more… and I will do whatever I can to help them…” Cindy pulled back smiling a cocky grin, “Even if that means saving my dumby ass of a brother from a bear attacking him.”

Dagon let out an annoyed sound, “I TOLD YOU I HAD HIM!”

“Suuuure you did,” Cindy snickered with a playful grin.

It was nice that they still acted the same after everything that’s happened over the past couple of years. As Dagon argued over his tactics of taking on a bear that size, Cindy slowly forgot about her worries as she continued to tease her brother as he prepared their meal and her new clothing.

Melody held Ashely closely as she tried to keep her as silent as she could. How did things get this messed up? It was like any other gathering over the many years.  Melody and her other family members showing up. Sharing tales of encounters of a hunt or a recent mating season. Introducing new additions to the family, like Melody was doing with Ashely. Having her learn about Melody's side of the family. However things turned horrible wrong when they were all attacked. Those people coming out of nowhere. Normally Melody wouldn’t have worried, but their vast numbers were staggering, and the weapons they possessed were too much for her and the rest of her family. It wasn’t long before she found that her mother and older sister were dead. Melody would have fought with the rest of her family, aunts and nieces but Ashely was with her … and she was her first priority. As painful as it was, Melody fled as her family tried to keep the horrible people back.

Fleeing for a safe place, Melody could only listen to the sounds of combat and slaughter. Sadly, the sounds of the horrible people getting the upper hand, filled the area as the rest of her family ran or fell. For the next couple of days, Melody proceeded to hide and sneak the best she could through the lands as she came across hunting parties looking for Giantess. They were out for blood. She didn’t know if they knew about her, or were just looking for any Giantess in general. Never before had Melody seen people organize and prepare themselves like these bloodthirsty groups.

This wasn’t normal, a Giantess shouldn’t fear people like this, THEY were the ones to be fearing Giantess. However, holding her daughter in her hand, she knew she couldn’t risk fighting with her young one. If something were to happen to Ashely…

Melody banished the thought.

Melody cowered deeper into a rocky region as a group of people searched above Melody and Ashely’s head. If someone were to look down the deep drop, they might spot an exposed part of Melody. However it seemed no one was peeking over the side. The sound of Ashely whimpering brought Melody’s attention to her daughter. Frightened, she called for the only person she knew that might help, “Daddy….”

“Shhh, shhh, it’s gonna be okay,” Melody whispered, trying to keep her calm. It was a lie she told herself and Ashley to keep some hope in their life, “Daddy’s coming. Dagon will come for us… I’m sure of it,” Melody whispered, trying to believe her own lies for her daughter’s sake.

Chapter 3 by Kickyou
Author's Notes:

Sorry, no the story isn't dead, just got other things that needed to be done before this.  I'll try and get the next chapter out sooner but it wont be that soon.

“Princess this is a very bad idea,” Nancy told Olivia as she started to pack up a bag with the essential clothes she thought she would need for the journey.  Olivia had never been to Brax town but she heard it was cold, and she didn’t want to be chilly there.

“Is it,” Olivia asked sounding very heated. Her voice raising as she stormed her chambers tossing more clothes, brushes, perfume, and other supplies that she would need for the long trip. “Dagon runs off with Cindy and you think I should stay here and not do anything?! And you're fine with Cindy just disappearing without a word to you either??”

Olivia watched the worry and concern on Nancy’s face break out for a few moments before calming down, as her maid training had taught her. Her break in emotions was something she usually never did, which just showed how worried she was for Dagon’s sister and personal lover. Still Nancy’s emotions cleared up as she seemed to be able to correct herself infront of Olivia, “I’m sure they are fine. Cindy is strong… so is Dagon.”

Olivia paused and closed her eyes as she felt like maybe she was overreacting. Dagon didn’t need her to help. Especially if Cindy is with him, in fact she was a Giantess. However…that still didn’t help this sinking and horrible feeling she had. Like if she didn’t do something, yesterday would be the last time she would ever see Dagon alive. No matter how much she fought it off, she got that dreaded feeling that Dagon was in trouble. “I know… I know you’re right but-” Olivia spun around to confront Nancy showing the fear and concern in her face, “What if they aren’t? What if they get into trouble and need help?”

It was clear Nancy was thinking the same thing as Olivia spoke her worries out loud, however Nancy couldn’t help but look away not willing to speak out. Olivia saw the worry on her face and it was clear she wasn’t trying to work up Olivia’s own fears. Nancy always was always trying to be the best maid she could be. “I know Princess, but what about your father? He would never allow you to leave like this.”

Olivia let out a huff at the very true words spoken, “Than thanks goodness I’m not telling him.”

Nancy turned toward Olivia just as she shut her bags closed with a slam, “Your highness… you’re gonna run away?!”

Olivia shushed Nancy with her hands and words, “Shhh… technically… kind of…”

Nancy shook her head, “This is a VERY bad idea-”

Olivia rolled her eyes, “It’s fine, I’ll have my personal guard with me. And it’s not like I haven’t learned anything from Dagon, Cindy, and Melody about the outside.” Olivia puffed her chest out proudly, “I’ve learned a few things about how to survive out in the wilds.”

Nancy didn’t show it, but doubt ran throughout her body, “Princess...your majesty… please reconsider-”

Olivia couldn’t help but pick up the stupid note that Dagon left her, “Nancy,” She said waving the flimsy paper sheet around, “You know as well as I do that Dagon sucks at writing. It’s clear what he’s intending to do, and no amount of smokescreening he tries with THIS letter is gonna persuade me that Melody and Ashely aren’t in trouble. Now we know where they are going, and maybe my presence in Brax town can help with something political or… I don’t konw…” Olivia sighed as she felt useless right now. “I just,” Olivia looked at Nancy as she also mirrored her reaction of hopelessness, “I don’t- no I CAN’T sit around and do nothing. I can’t just wait for them to get back or hear news about something bad happening to them.”

Nancy let out her own sounds of worry as she knew what Olivia was saying, “Your majesty… if we’re gonna do this, then at least we should come up with a decent lie for your father.  That way he doesn’t send all his men after you the minute he finds out you left.”

Olivia smiled at her best friend, “Thank you…” However that smile faded, “Uh… so, um, what would that be?”

Nancy sighed again as she headed over to the desk in Olivia’s room, “I’ll start to prepare something believable for him.”

Dagon sat on Cindy’s shoulder, in the freezing cold, as they continued to head toward Brax town. Rubbing his hand together yet again, Dagon breathed into his hands as he tried to warm them up so he didn’t lose any fucking fingers to the fridged air. “You're sure you're not cold,” Dagon Asked his sister again.

“Of course not,” Cindy told him, trying to sound sure, but failing as the chill was clearly heard in her voice.  It was like she was trying to pretend she wasn’t stuttering on some vows and letters.

“Let’s take a break and warm up,” Dagon said, patting Cidny’s shoulder.

“I said I’m not cold,” Cindy remarked, definitely trying to act tough.

Annoyed at his stupid stubborn sister Dagon grumbled before he said annoyed, “Well I am, and I’m not gonna freeze my butt off on your shoulder cause you’re not cold. I’m not trying to be a freaking icicle before I see my daughter.” Dagon pointed to a nice patch of ground for them to take a break.

As much as Cindy grumbled and complained, she finally took a seat and huddled her legs up to her body to conserve heat as she tried to warm her limbs up. Dagon tried to think of what to do for his sister, but it wasn’t like they had a blanket for her. In hindsight, Dagon should have made something for her before heading up here. However in Dagon’s defense he never needed to make one for her where they live and it wasn’t like he had time to prepare one for her.

“It’s best not to sit still,” Dagon warned as he stood by his enormous sitting sister.

Cindy rolled her eyes and mocked Dagon, “Best not sit still, what are you, an expert about the north now that we’re here?”

Dagon scoffed at his sister’s attitude, “No. But I have been here a few times, and trust me, you don’t want any frostbite on your hands or feet. So… don’t sit still too long.”

Cindy was deciding on listening to her brother, and finally rolled her eyes before standing up and moving around casually. “This sucks,” Cindy complained as she walked around as she tried to keep moving, taking her brother's advice.  Shuffling around and making sure her limbs didn’t freeze up on her.

Dagon rubbed his hands and causally breathed into them to warm them up, yet again. He did his best to stay out of his sister’s causally trampling path. He didn’t think of how much space she would take up moving around in the little area. However now it seemed Dagon had to more than once to dodge his sister’s freaking feet. Staying out of her massive path was more of a work out than Dagon thought as it was actually keeping him warmer than what he was doing beforehand.

Finally fed up with staying out of Cindy’s stupid steps, Dagon called out, “Okay I think we’re warm enough.”

“Maybe you are,” Cindy muttered as she looked still chilly, but what did Dagon expect considering she wasn’t really dressed for the weather up here. The little blanket of bear skin that Dagon made last night hardly covered her midsection, never mind her feet, legs, and arms.

“Well,” Dagon sighed, “The sooner we go, the quicker we can get to town, and the sooner I can buy more pelts… unless you want to stand here all day while I try and find more wildlife to use.” Dagon gave a snort as he gestured around the pretty dead looking environment.  Not much plant life and less wildlife, “Considering how many animals we spotted the past couple of hours, I doubt there's enough to make you a sock or mitten.”

“Socks,” Cindy asked, confused at the word.

It took Dagon a moment to remember that footwear was nonexistent for Giantess like his sister. “Never mind, let’s just head out. Sooner we get to town, the sooner I can buy stuff and get information. Which means the sooner we can go back home where it’s warm.”

Cindy sighed and nodded, “And where Nancy is…”

Dagon nodded, “Yeah, and  where Nancy is.” He couldn’t help but think of Olivia at the mention of Nancy. His thoughts were interrupted by the sudden harsh knock into his shoulder as Cindy poked at him.

She snickered, “And Olivia, I know you miss her too.”

“Oh get off my back,” Dagon scoffed as he recovered from the mighty impact he got from his stupid sister’s super finger. “We haven’t even been gone that long.  How could I miss her?”

“Sure…. We have been gone long enough to not want to be here,” Cindy reported as she crossed her arms over her frigid chest as she looked down at Dagon. “I still have no idea why anyone would want to live up here in this stupid place. It’s so cold and barren. Did Melody really grow up here?”

Dagon watched as Cindy started to bend down and lower her hand to pick him up. As she lifted up Dagon and brought him to her shoulder he sighed, “I don’t know. She doesn’t really talk a lot about her past. I mean…” Again Dagon sighed as he thought about it. Cindy slowly started to walk forward and to their destination as Dagon went on, “I don’t ask. Maybe I should? There's a lot I don’t know about her but like,” Dagon felt some kind of conflict in him, “Should I?”

Cindy shrugged, nearly toppling the unsuspecting Dagon from her shoulder. “I don’t know. Do YOU want to?”

Dagon had to think about it for a while. Sure Melody was his daughter's mom, but he didn’t have much if any attraction to the Giantess. Especially after what transpired a few years ago. The more he thought about that day he was captured and used for her own desire, the more it only made Dagon dislike Melody more.  Yet he couldn’t fault her since he knew about Giantess mating cycles.

However, unlike the past, things and people change. Melody never made a move or forced herself back on him like that day. No matter how many times she seemed tempted at certain times of the year. Dagon respected that more than anything. “I don’t know,” Dagon muttered as he started to contemplate the thought of knowing more about the giantess that was raising his daughter. “Maybe? Ashely is being raised by her. Maybe I should know more about what’s being taught. I kind of remember what mom taught us when she was praising you, at least if you can call that raising.” Dagon scoffed as he shook his head at the thought of his past and his mom.

“What? Mom wasn't that bad,” Cindy said, trying to defend her.

Dagon looked at his sister like she was crazy. He was about to say something but recalled how young she was last time he was with their mom. “Maybe to you,” Dagon said before turning away and watching the vast landscape change as Cindy walked. “She was a total BI-”

“Hey,” Cindy cut Dagon off with a warning in her voice, “That’s our mom you're talking about.”

“Yeah…” Dagon scoffed as he went on, “Which is why I was gonna call her a-”

Cindy turned toward Dagon and gave him a look that made him rethink the word he was gonna call her. “A person I didn’t like…” Dagon said with an annoyed look. “You might not have to worry about her, but she hated me.”

“She didn’t hate you,” Cindy argued, turning her attention back to the ground before her.

Dagon would have let out a hard laugh if he wasn’t too busy not trying to bite his tongue off with each step Cindy was making. Dagon rolled his eyes that his sister couldn’t see, “AH yes, I forgot that threatening to eat you whole was a loving sentiment that EVERY parent tells their child.  How forgetful of me.”  The amount of sarcasm coming from Dagon made Cindy’s shoulder feel heavier than before.

Cindy didn’t argue with his remark.

Dagon shook his head, “She was some mom… look can we just not talk about her?”

Cindy slowly nodded her head in agreement.

Dagon sighed as he looked out over the horizon as they traveled. He was quiet, which also didn’t help as Cindy was silent. The only sound was the soft thuds of her feet on the frozen ground before her. The silence between the two was long as Cindy continued to walk and Dagon stayed on her shoulder for the journey. Dagon felt bad as every breeze of cold air made Cindy shiver, but she never said a word about the weather.

Dagon finally said something to spark a conversation up for the long walk, “Soooo, when are you gonna marry Nancy?”

Cindy seemed to trip over an invisible rock or root as she stumbled forward before stopping herself from falling. “WHAT?! Why are you asking that,” Cindy asked flustered at the very private and personal question.

“What? I’m your brother… the least we can do is chat about it while we walk,” Dagon said, trying to sound innocent at the big question he asked.

Cindy muttered as she went back to a strolling pace, “I mean… like I said, I want to… some time… soon...”

Dagon snorted as he rolled his eyes, “Ah yes, soon. I love that time. It’s somewhere between yesterday and never.”

Cindy turned her head toward Dagon with an angry scowl and pressed her lips together and blew a mighty blow of hot air to push Dagon off her shoulder. Dagon would have gone tumbling off Cindy if he wasn’t prepared the moment he saw her turning toward him. Dagon grabbed the material closest to him and held on as the mighty gust of air ripped at him. “Buzz off brother.”

“Just calm down,” Dagon panted as he relaxed after the attack.  At least it warmed him up a bit. “I’m just trying to fucking help my baby sister.”

Cindy shook and possibly rolled her eyes at the “help” that Dagon was trying to offer. Finally she spoke, “Yeah? And what? How are you gonna help me when you haven’t even made a move on Olivia?”

Dagon’s teasing smile slowly died, “I… well that’s completely different.”

“Ohhhhh,” Cindy smirked as she was now on the attack, “How so? I thought you were both doing soooooo well together, I mean… it’s not like your a GIANTESS trying to marry a normal person.”

Dagon’s mouth hung open at the actuations, “She’s royalty!”

“Oh noooo…” Cindy mocked, “Olivia trying to marry someone her own size… how dreadful.”

Dagon slapped Cindy's shoulder, that was probably more like a tickle to her, “There is so much more to her world than ours! Besides her fucking dad is like out to get me. I can’t even be in the same room if he’s there! You have no idea how bad it is…” Dagon watched Cindy glance at him with an arched brow, just before she scoffed Dagon went on, “Okay… so maybe we're more alike than we think, but I’m just saying Nancy has already tooken the deep dive, you both are already there. Me and Olivia… well…” Dagon sighed as he thought about it while watching Cindy walk over a crevice in the ground that would have been nearly impossible for Dagon to jump over. Dagon let out a sullen voice as he went on, “She’s… she’s got options that she can make. She doesn’t need to settle for me-”

Cindy let out a mighty snort, “OH my god… you're so fucking oblivious… you want to give me advice, and yet look at you, that is just so sad.”

Dagon glared at Cindy, “What are you fucking trying to say, huh?”

“Oh please… she’s completely head over heels for you!” Cindy retorted with a goofy know it all grin. “She’s been like that since… well, I’d say day one, but I wasn’t there… sweet Olivia is totally into you. And you're into her… so stop being a little,” Cindy slowed down as she brought her face closer to Dagon, “Whimp! I mean if I’m gonna ask Nancy to marry me, the least you can do is try and be official with Olivia’s dad and everyone else around her.”

Dagon was annoyed that his sister would poke at this topic. He was trying to make it more about her, but it somehow turned on him. Yet, she had a point. He should make it more official than just rumors and speculations. Dagon should try and throw his hat into the fray and ask for Olivia’s hand.

Letting out the exhausted sigh, Dagon nodded, “I guess you’re right. So … what are we gonna do, try and see who asks who first?”

There was a pause before Cindy looked at Dagon with a smug childish look which Dagon could only replicate before saying, “Loser has to do what?”

“Well… my toes have been feeling a little stiff and scraggly, especially from walking up here on all this cold hard ground,” Cindy mentioned with the shitties grin on her face.

Dagon shuddered, and it wasn’t because of the cold. The thought of having to clean and pamper his giant sister’s toes was one of the few NO NOS he had. A giantess's feet was something one did not want to be near after long walks.

However Dagon gave Cindy the same shit eating grin as he spoke, “Well, I haven’t had Skralling in a while…”

Cindy’s face went from cocky to straight cold horror, “You wouldn’t…. the last time I went to grab one, it fucking sprayed me and I smelled horrible for a week!”

Dagon just shrugged, “Hey if you want to back out now like a wuss go ahead…”

Cindy contemplated it before narrowing her eyes as she weighed the possible benefits and downfalls of this bet. Finally she spoke, “DEAL!”

Dagon laughed as he gave Cindy a sinister smile “Oh shit, this gonna be good. I mean the moment we get back all I got to do ask Olivia, but you?  Well you gotta wait till Nancy leaves the town to even talk with her. I hope you don’t mind smelling like Skralling for a week!”

Cindy smirk instantly died as she realized what Dagon was saying. He could get to town any time of the day but Cindy had to wait till Nancy snuck out to meet her. “HEY NO THAT’S NOT FAIR!”

“ooo are you trying to back out now,” Dagon mocked his enormous sister..

“You tricked me!” Cindy yelled as she turned toward Dagon on her shoulder glaring daggers at him.

“Too late, we made the bet,” Dagon continued to tease as he got ready to dodge any of Cindy’s swats or smacks at him.

“DAGON!” Cindy cried as she did just that. Her left arm tried to swat and hit her annoying brother, but he was too quick and limber as he crawled around her shoulder and neck. Cindy was whining at her brother as she swung and missed every time. Always hearing his annoying laugh in her ears as he slithered around her neck and body.

Cindy complained for a long time as she tried to punish her elusive brother. The two siblings continued to argue and tease each other as they made their way to Brax town

The journey to Brax town was longer than Dagon remembered, but Cindy made it to one of the few checkpoints outside of town undetected. The sign on the dusty and unkept road told Dagon they were close. Oddly there didn’t seem to be a soul nearby traveling to or from Brax town.

“Alright,” Dagon told Cindy as he slipped down her arm and to the cold ground. “You stay here, maybe look around a little, BUT,” Dagon said firmly, “Stay out of sight, I don’t need Brax town going into a frenzy seeing you walking around near their city.”

Cindy rolled her eyes as she shooed Dagon off while mocking him, “DoN’t bE a giAntESs NeAR a ciTY!” Cindy gave Dagon a look, “I get it… jeez, you act like this is new to me.  Not the first time I had to sit around waiting for you.”

“I’m just trying to keep you from getting hurt,” Dagon told her with as much sincerity as he could without acting like an older brother.  He really wanted to give her some sass but he could understand her feelings about the whole situation.

“And I’m fine,” Cindy complained as she rolled her eyes at him. “Jeez, if anything I’d be more worried about yourself. Gonna go walk into some random town and ask questions about giantess… If anyone should be worrying I’d think it would be you.”

Dagon shook his head at his sister's remark as he grabbed his bag and started the long journey to Brax town. His sister didn’t know what she was saying, Dagon knew from first hand experience how to react with others. As a Giantess she had no idea what it was like all those years he was on his own. He knew exactly what to say and how to behave, what to do to blend in and be a common local or a traveler. Ignoring any words of advice that Cindy gave, Dagon headed toward the town of Brax. Slowly he made his long journey across the rough and unkept road to the town.

The walk toward the northern town could have been more gentle as the ground felt more like loose rubble or rocks. The ground wasn’t paved or repaid like other towns, it was clear there wasn’t much care going into the roads. Brax Town must be putting its money and manpower into other activities than paving the trading route to and from the city. Traversing across the road while stumbling, made it harder to reach his destination. Combine that with the cold bleak weather, it only made the trip that much worse.  Dagon had to tug his cloak and clothing closer and tighter as he approached the distant city, just so he wouldn’t freeze his jewels off. As horrible as the walk to the city was, he knew it would have been worse without his sister.  Even so, he shut his happiness and any emotions for his sister’s help down, and  made his way toward the major town in the area to get some answers and simple supplies. Daogn slowly came toward the town walls and gate.  As he approached the weird object he saw slowly came into focus causing him to reach the shocking and stunning sight before him.

The opening gates were the same normal looking doors, with the same size and girth as many towns like this. However there were more details to the main gate that took Dagon aback as soon as he walked through and took in the sight before him. There were large long looming objects hanging over the entrance just beyond the gate, once you entered Brax Town. Those elongated shapes came into view as Dagon got closer, big enormous white bones hanging over the gate openings like a chandelier.  Dagon couldn’t help but look at the jagged stick like structures that hung over the outside of the gate. Dagon felt his stomach drop as he could only think of one creature… or person, that would make such bones, a giantess. Those were giantess bones draping the outskirts of the town like decorations or trophies.  Something that wasn’t here last time Dagon traveled to the town.  The sigh of those white chalky beams lining above him made his stomach turn at the possibilities of who they belonged to.

Dagon buried the sick and disgusted feeling as he stepped into Brax Town. A pair of guards were standing at the wide open gates. Any attention Dagon thought he was gonna get from them, was nonexistent. The guards were so uncaring and nonchalant about Dagon entering the city, that he hardly had to say a word or two before he was let into the open city. He wasn’t even checked for dangerous weapons.  It was clear they were more concerned about other things.  Dagon slowly walked beyond the gate and into the very bleak and bland town. The streets were nearly empty and the citizens were hardly out walking around. Dagon saw a few people on the side of the street eyeball him but soon turned away from him. It was like walking through a ghost town, there was little to no life or activity going on around him and it was startling.

Dagon had a bad feeling about this place, as he slowly lurked deeper into the livelihoods of Brax Town and its citizens. No one seemed “normal '', everyone looked gloomy, upset, or agitated.  The only sound he heard was either someone arguing with someone or a cold and quiet voice asking for food.  Every other corner Dagon turned he found someone fighting with another or a limp body on the side of the street. A haunting aura hovered around the town, which made Dagon on edge.

“What the fuck,” Dagon muttered to himself as he passed another brawl of two men trying to beat the other to a pulp. Finally he was entering the so-called “trading center”, the marketplace for the whole town.  The heart of the city.  This too seemed oddly empty. Dagon looked at the stalls around and found most of them had nothing if not small supplies he didn’t need. Confused, Dagon went to the nearest stall, “Hey… I’m looking for lots of pelts and furs. You know anyone who might have some?” Dagon slowly slid a gold piece to the shopkeeper. The keeper quickly snatched it up before checking the authenticity of the coin. Satisfied he looked back at Dagon with a weary look, but after being paid he gave up the info.

“Yeah… yeah, over there,” he said, pointing toward another larger stall while pocketing the coin. “They got something from the last hunt.”

Dagon paused at that word and how he said it, “Hunt?” Dagon repeated, not sure what that meant.

“Yeah…” He nodded, “Now go on you, unless you're gonna buy something or want to trade for more information,” He asked with a greedy twinkle in his eye. His hand shot out for more gold.

Dagon slowly shook his head, he wasn’t made of money and didn’t need to be blowing his cash that easily. Dagon walked away from the grumpy trader as he headed toward the pelt dealer. As Dagon approached he also noticed how gloomy and grungy this trader was too. Just like the atmosphere of the town, he looked deprived and poor of funds. Dagon slowly approached the merchant and saw his eyes glow at a possible customer.

“GREETINGS!” The voice sounded stressed as it was forced to be full of excitement.

Dagon finally asked the looming question, “What… what’s going on around here?”

“What do you mean,” He asked, sounding a little confused. “Wait, did you not want to … buy?” The warning in his voice sounded worried and harsh as it seemed that his hopes of money were being ripped away.

“Do you sell pelts, fabric, or something to use for staying warm,” Dagon asked to make sure this wasn’t a waste of time.

“Why of course!” He quickly spoke.

“Then yes, I have business with you. So long as it’s what I'm looking for.”  Dagon stressed his words to make sure he understood that Dagon wasn’t a chump.

The merchant looked hesitant as he glanced around as if expecting someone to come rob him, “What are you looking for… stranger?”

Dagon sensed the man's hesitation. First Dagon showed his hands before dipping his hand into his pocket to show some coins. This seemed to ease the man before him, “Well, I need fabric, the warmer the better. The larger, well I got a lot of people to clothe, so the bigger the better ....”

The trader’s eyes bulged before a giant grin came on his face, “Well stranger… I have what you're looking for and MORE!”

Dagon nodded as he dropped his coins into his pocket before repeating, “So this place…. It’s a lot different from when I was here last.”

The merchant paused as he stopped from gathering his materials. “How so?”

“Well, it seems so much… uh… less lively, I guess. Did something happen here,” Dagon asked as he watched the merchain before him slowly go into the tent behind him. “Everyone seems kind of off, I guess, or I’m just not used to this freezing weather,” Dagon chuckled, hoping to get a friendly response from the trader.

The merchant wasn’t laughing as he went about his business and finally came back out of his tent of supplies, “A lot has happened in the last few years. Things have changed…” The pause he left on made Dagon arch a brow at those haunted words.

“Changed… like for the better or… worse?” Dagon asked seeing the man seem uncomfortable explaining. Seeing how touchy the subject was Dagon threw his hands up, “Nevermind, forget it. Let’s just focus on our trade, and I’ll be out of your hair.”

This seemed to please the man as he nodded before pulling out a large chunk of fur and slammed it on the table before them. “Just got this today. Fresh and warm, one of the larger pieces I got. Feel it, it’s good quality. Sure it might take some work to cut it to normal size to fit you or whoever, but you can’t beat the softness and warmth provided.”

Dagon looked at the large cloth fabric that was easily determined to belong to a large creature. There was only one type of creature that would wear this, a Giantess. Dagon kept a stone face as he looked at the wolf and bear hybrid clothing that a Giantess must have made and stitched together. “Wh-where did you get this? This is giantess clothing…”

For the first time the trader smirked, “Good eye sir, I have plenty, in fact if you're looking for something more furry, I have one made of Elk and Mogor. A weird combination but oddly satisfying.  Especially with the cold season coming in.”

Dagon didn’t care about any of that, he was too shocked to see Giantess clothing being sold, and it sounded like there was more. “How…?” Dagon asked, trying to find out how the trader got his hands on something so important.  One would have to sneak up on a sleeping giantess or kill one, but both were highly unlikely.

The merchain gave Dagon a cocky grin, “I know a few people on the hunting party, I cut them a good deal and they usually give me the materials of their kills.”

Dagon felt a chill run up his spin as he knew what that meant. Brax town was killing Giantess!  It was an almost unheard of concept. Sure fighting off a Giantess or two was something most people did, but a fucking Hunting Party?! That was going to track, attack, and kill giantesses. This was something that Dagon was unfamiliar with. “You guys… attack giantesses,” Dagon asked, horrified at the possible answer.

The Merchain gave a soft shrug, “I don’t. I just sell the stuff the hunters don’t need or want.”

Dagon’s head was whirling at the news. This was insane. There was no way. How? No WHY?! It was beyond unheard of to try and do something so foolish and risky. Yet, there was no denying the fact that Dagon was looking at a fabric bra and loincloth made out of animal fur for a giantess to wear.  “… I’ll take it,” Dagon said, paying the sum of money asked for the premade fabric. It wouldn't be too hard to customize the clothing for Cindy. However, Dagon had more questions about this giantess hunting party.

A sick feeling was running through him as he started to piece together the horrible signs in the town. The large bones decorating areas had to belong to several Giantess victims. Lucky, Dagon noticed most of those bones were old, maybe a year or so. Melody hadn’t come up here till a week or so, so those couldn’t possibly be her bones, however that didn’t change the fact that Ashely and Melody were up here somewhere. A place where people HUNTED Giantess… Dagon had a much heavier sense of worry draping over his shoulders as part of his family was in mortal danger.

Folding and wrapping up the fabric so he could put it in his backpack and carry it back to Cindy.  Dagon decided he should get more information out of this town before he left. This wasn’t the Brax he was familiar with. Things had changed in the past couple years he had last been here. “Hey,” Dagon said to the merchant counting his coins, “This hunt, do you know when the next one is? Or who I can talk to about joining or whatever?”

“You want to join,” The merchant scoffed at the silly question. However Dagon gave him a serious look that cut his mocking tone off, “Uh, well, you can talk to Alex.”

Dagon waited for a few moments before letting out an annoyed and grumbling voice at the lack of explanation behind that answer, “AND WHERE IS ALEX?!”

The trader jumped as he shuddered at the harsh voice Dagon growled out, “OH! RIGHT! Uh, he’s at the center of town preaching! You can’t miss him, big beard, long hair… Scar on the left eye!”

Dagon slowly nodded before saying, “Thanks.” With no more need for the merchant, Dagon followed the directions. Luckily there wasn’t any way the city could have changed that much that Dagon didn’t recall some of the streets. Following the path he knew, he ducked around corners and alleys to head toward the center of town. Dagon noticed the citizens of Brax town, most of them seemed either starving or highly aggressive littering the back roads or streets.  If they weren’t slumped up against a door or object they seemed to be in a fist fight with someone.

Dagon made sure to avoid as many people as he could making his way toward this mysterious person, Alex. Dagon slipped through the streets till he came into a large crowd, it wasn’t enormous like some of Hagger’s town events.  Those streets were way more packed than here.  However, that didn’t stop the fact that there were a lot of citizens of the city standing around listening and watching. Dagon stood in the back of the substantial sized crowd of people. He could just make out the person up on a stand in the middle of the square, as he talked to everyone.

“THERE’S NO NEED TO BE AFRAID,” He shouted to everyone in a calm and commanding voice. Dagon noticed how many people in the crowd were agreeing with him.  The congregation of bodies was filling up the square as the speech continued as it  riled up more people.    “They may be bigger but we have NUMBERS! TOO LONG HAVE WE HID BEHIND THESE DAMN WALL!  TOO LONG HAVE WE FEARED THEM!  NOW IT’S OUR TIME, IT’S NOW UP TO US TO TAKE EVERYTHING BACK!” More agreement spread through the crowd as the man that Dagon could only assume was Alex spoke out in a commanding and assertive voice.  “You’ve seen us, we’ve come back with not just bodies for revenge, but for food!  Food that we’ve been lacking for so long, thanks to those monsters attacking our roads for years!  Now we can feed and be full, no longer waiting for others to try and feed us!  We have a source of meat!  A source of nourishment!”

Dagon’s ears and eyes perked up at those words.  They couldn’t possibly mean what he was thinking, right?

Food…

No, that was unthinkable.  There was no way they were eating… noway, that was fucking insane!

However, sure enough, someone standing on the stage with Alex, started to toss large chunks of what Dagon saw as chunks of packaged food into the crowd of people. The cheering and cries of happiness filled the town center as more pieces of “meat” were tossed out into the mass of citizens.

“We bring back more food for everyone! ENJOY! Tonight no one goes hungry!” Alex cheered as more food was tossed and handed out to the crowd of people.  The crowd of people surged forward toward the stage all wanting what was being offered to them.

Dagon was horrified and disgusted as he watched waves of people ushering forward to the free food being offered to what had to be a starving crowd. Dagon didn’t move as he continued to watch the man continue his talk while a frenzy of people tried to get something to eat. “For too long have they hunted and eaten us for their food and fun. Now it’s our time! Now it’s our TURN! No longer shall we starve behind these walls, we shall consume the hunters and make them the hunted! Join me and my fellow comrades and together we can purge these lands of those wretched and horrible creatures!  Let’s bring back a feast for not just us but for everyone to enjoy! LONG LIVE BRAX TOWN!” Alex’s voice roared as there was more cheering and more people tossing slabs of meat out into the crowd of people demanding more.

Dagon saw all he needed as he felt sick at the sight of people consuming Giantess meat. That was something he never even thought was possible. Dagon gave the sight one last look as the masses of people fought and argued for the meals being offered to everyone. The aggressive and heinous acts in the crowd were disturbing and off putting. Dagon had never seen people act so out of control and aggravated.  So bloodthirsty and angry.  It was like they were all driven mad.

Still Dagon got what he was looking for, information. It seemed somewhere in the past few years, Alex came into power or at least led people into hunting Giantess, to take one or more of them down.  Now it seems like he’s got a cult or following building off that initial attack.  The culture around Brax town had shifted heavily toward these hunts that Alex was conducting.  Something that was really unsettling.

Sure Dagon got it, kind of. However, this didn’t help him at all. In fact it made things much worse, as now his fear for Melody and Ashely increased several fold.  A whole town hunting down his daughter and mother of his child . Sure, Dagon wouldn’t be so worried about Melody, she might be fine, but she was looking after Ashely, who was just a child. There was no telling what could happen to them. Dagon had to find Cindy and try to get a head start on this freaking nutty town that wanted to kill and eat his daughter!

“Shit, what the fuck,” Dagon muttered in a panic as he headed through the streets and back toward the exit of this psycho crazy town. Dagon needed to get back and catch up with Cindy, than they needed to book it to find Ashely and Melody so they can head back to fucking Hager’s town. Taking his daughter to a fucking Giantess hunting land was probably the worest decision ever. If Dagon found Melody and Ashley unharmed and safe, he would have to give Melody mother of the year award…

Olivia and Nancy had been traveling for a few days. The carriage they took, without her father’s permission, had been on a nonstop journey to Brax Town. They had been going since the other night and were going on a full speed trip to Brax Town. As much as Olivia tried to sleep through the night, she couldn’t as she woke up throughout the night of their journey. The constant feeling in her gut didn’t help her either. However, as much as she hated the trip in the small wooden box, she was shocked at how fast they traveled. It was so much quicker than her last trip to Luther’s town, which made her wonder why the heck they didn’t use a carriage then? A question that she pondered the closer they got to Brax town.

It was getting later in the evening when Olivia started to feel herself starting to fall asleep.  Being up for so long was finally taking a toll on her.  The lack of sleep and the constant clopping of hooves and rolling wheels started to wear her down.

“Princess we are nearly there,'' one of Olivia’s guards said. “It shouldn’t take more than a few more hours to reach Brax town.”

The news startled Ovliva awake as she  slowly nodded.  Olivia took a look through the carriage window to see her drivers, “Good, the sooner we get there the better.” Olivia couldn’t help but narrow her eyes as she thought of Dagon running off without saying anything to her, “I have someone I need to TALK to,” Olivia grumbled as she sat in the carriage. Her anger only seemed to be fueled by the lack of sleep and annoyance of Dagon’s silly actions.

“Princess, I don’t know if you should be so upset with him,” Nancy said as she tried to remain as calm as she could in the carriage. This would seem to be her first time riding in a carriage and it was showing with each jostle and bump they took only made her look more agitated and nervous.

“And why not,” Olivia huffed, still feeling upset at Dagon’s lack of communication.

Nancy couldn’t do much but say, “I know he cares about you but he has others he cares about too. Both of you are important to his life. Or at least what I can tell. So please, I wouldn’t take this too harshly, it is his daughter he’s looking out for.”

The thought of Ashely made Olivia feel bad for forgetting the giant little girl. It was hard sometimes for Olivia to recall that Dagon did have a child, especially when he could only be around his daughter at certain times. It was easy for Olivia to understand how Dagon was feeling, because how worried she was about him, it must have been worse for him worrying about Ashely’s safety and wellbeing.  The young giantess wasn’t even old enough to be on her own.

Olivia sighed as she huffed some of the hate out of her system, as she calmed down, “You're right, but don’t think I’ll completely forgive him.”

“Of course your highness,” Nancy nodded as she flinched after another bump in the road.

Olivia felt bad as she watched Nancy try to stay calm, but it seemed even her nerves were shocked too, “I’m sorry about this Nancy, if I knew you didn’t like to travel like this, I would never have suggested it.” Olivia felt bad for her personal maid following her, granted she had her own reason for coming, but Olivia felt responsible for the predicament of putting the poor girl in a situation so distasteful to herself.

Nancy tried to calm down as she shook her head as a small smile creased her face in a kind of joking mood. “It’s kind of funny. Something so small carrying me can make me feel so unsafe, nervous, and sick… but, someone so large carrying me can make me feel so warm, safe, and loved.”

Olivia knew what Nancy was talking about, Cindy. Oddly Nancy was right, unlike this bumpy and wobbling cart, Cindy could easily carry both of them in a much smoother and gentler ride. Never once has Olivia worried about falling off of Cindy. “That might be true,” Olivia said before adding, “However, this is much faster than …” Olivia caught herself from saying the word Giantess. She had to remember that there were others around that could hear their conversation and she didn’t need Dagon or Cindy in any trouble from evesdroppers. “Other means of travel. In fact we should either catch up to Dagon and Cindy, or possibly even beat them to town.”

Nancy slowly nodded at the good news, however it didn’t improve her displeased look with the mode of transportation they were in. If anything it was like she was accepting a necessary evil in order to get where she needed to go faster than the runaways, Cindy and Dagon. It was probably for the best. Olivia sighed as she looked out the right side of the carriage to be met with a wall of rocks and dirt from the side of the clift they were riding alongside.  The trip to Brax Twon required climbing a trail along the side of a large cliff. Turning to the left side of the carriage Olivia looked over the bleak and cold landscape they traveled. She couldn't help but wonder what Dagon and Cindy were doing right now.  Olivia pondered what the brother and sister were doing while her transportation traveled above a large wooden forest spread out with hills and rivers below them.

The large clift side they were riding on had to be hundreds of feet tall, if not taller.  A height well above any giantess' reach. If anything Olivia would say they were traveling up the side of a mountain rather than a cliff, but they were heading up toward the flat land above the leafless forest below them. The weather was getting chillier the higher up they traveled.

“It sure is cold up here,” Olivia commented as she started to look for something to help put another layer on to keep out the cold.

“Here Princess,” Nancy said, “I packed you a-”

A sudden cry out from above the carriage was heard before the horses and carriage came to sudden stop jerking Nancy and Olivia about in the wooden box. Olivia landed in a heap while Nancy grabbed whatever she could to keep from falling.

“Whoa, whoa there!” one of Olivia’s guards called out. “Shit, what is this,” he grumbled.

“What’s going on,” Olivia called out, while getting up from the sudden stop. She tried to look out the front of the carriage but two of her guards were blocking the window to peek from. Heading to the door she swung it open, “Why did we stop, is everything okay-”

Olivia looked ahead of the carriage and not even twenty feet ahead, just around the bend she saw a large log of a tree blocking the entire path of the road. It was wide enough to cover from the side of the cliff to the edge of the road, blocking the path forward for the carriage. It would take everyone's effort to try and push it out of the way if they wanted to continue.

“Where did that come from,” One of her guards muttered looking at the enormously large tree lying in their path.

Olviva frowned, “Did… did it fall down? I don’t remember it raining any time soon…” She said, confused.

“Princess you should get back inside, “we’ll try and move it out of the way.” One of her four guards told her.

Olivia was about to do what they asked of her until she recalled something. It had been years so it didn’t click with her but finally she remembered her dangerous journey with Dagon, and how something similar happened. She gasped at the one word that came to mind, “Giantess…”

This was a trap.

Olivia was about to tell everyone they needed to leave but suddenly there was a sliding sound and a mighty thump behind them. Everyone turned around to see a young giantess blocking their retreat. She had just come sliding down the side of the cliff, which must have been not even a four foot drop for her. The young girl wasn’t fully grown, as far as Olivia could tell. She looked in her young, if not mid teens, well under Cindy and Melody’s size. However still big enough to pose a threat unlike Ashely and her size.

“HIGHNESS BACK INSIDE,” One of her guards yelled as he grabbed his weapons. “To arms men!”

All of Olivia’s guards got their weapons and in no time were guarding the back of the carriage from the monstrous girl standing behind them. Swords drawn and spears ready Olivia’s four guards were prepared to lay down their lives for her. Olivia watched as the young giantess seemed hesitant as if she didn’t want to fight. She looked hungry and tired. They didn’t need to fight. They could work this out.

“Wa-wait!” Olivia called out. “Everyone wait! We don’t have to fight,” Olivia cried out from the carriage. Olivia’s guards were shocked and confused when she ordered them to stand down.

“Princess, please,” Her captain begged, “It’s a giantess!”

“She’s hungry,” Olivia told her guards in the poor girl's defense. “We have plenty of food to give her. No one needs to get hurt or killed.” Olivia quickly told her guards as she quickly ordered one of them to get their supplies.

The giantess looked confused and perplexed at what was going on. Olivia didn’t want this child to go hungry or worse, her men hurt and maybe even kill her. If there was anything that Olivia learned with Cindy and Melody, is that Giantess weren’t evil-

Before Olivia could finish that thought the young giantess bent down and swatted one of Olivia’s guards off the cliff. The startling smack filled the air with its sudden and hard impact.  The man’s screams were heard as he was backhand off the ground and down toward the forest below, surely to die from the impact when he finally hit the ground or trees below.

Olivia gasped from the carriage door as her guards scrambled to get into position to defend her, however their chance was gone. The crouching giantess was already reaching for another soldier with her other hand and snatched him up like a weed from a garden. He cried out for a split second before the crunching and squishing sound of metal and bones could be heard.

“SHIT!” the captain of the now two man group yelled as he ordered his last man to back up.

It wasn’t fast enough as the large giantess’ foot came crashing into the man with a mighty kick. He went flying forward and smashed into the carriage backside. The loud sudden impact caused it to rock and shake, sending Olivia tumbling back inside. Nancy quickly shut the door, to offer some form of protection for Olivia.

Olivia was still recovering when she heard the captain of her guard demanding the giantess to leave them.

“Back you fucking monster, get back you BEAST! I’ll cut your fucking finger off if you even-” A startled sound was heard before the tone of his voice changed. Olivia couldn't see anything from the carriage back window, but she could hear as the man cried out for help and mercy, “PLEASE NO NO I DON’T WANT TO-”

A sickening chomping sound was heard as metal and bone was suddenly heard being crunched and chewed.

It was silent except for the sound of chewing and eating, till finally she swallowed her bite.

Olivia shuddered at the noise as she continued to hear the monster chew and bite into her only hope for safety. The cruel Giantess was chomping and bitting as she stood behind the carriage not leaving her spot. It felt like forever as Olivia and Nancy huddled in the carriage listening to that giant beast before them, eating and chewing what was left of her men. Finally after however long it took, the enormous feet got closer. The carriage started to shudder and shake as the horse in front went into a panic, but couldn’t go forward or backwards. They could only neigh and squeal as they were stuck in place. The noises soon were cut short as the sound of snapping and cracking of bones, metal, and wood could be heard and the carriage suddenly stopped shaking.

“Mmm, horse meat, it’s been a while,” The giantess laughed. “This was a good hunt…”

The sound of her voice boomed down from the ceiling as if she were speaking through it to Olivia and Nancy.  She was directly on top of them.  However the sound of wood snapping and metal ripping and tearing clearly told Olivia that she was attacking the front of the carriage where the horses were.  It only took a few moments before the sound of the front of the carriage being destroyed filled the air as it soon grew deadly silent.

Nancy and Olivia stayed still and quiet in the carriage hoping the Giantess would leave them be. She sounded like she might have gotten all the food she needed. It was noiseless and there was no sound except the whistling of the wind.

Olivia went to ask Nancy if the giantess was gone, but Nancy quickly shook her head and put her finger up to her lips to keep her from making a noise. This wasn’t the time to talk. They were still in danger.

Suddenly there was a large knocking sound from the roof of the carriage. Olivia would have thought it was someone stomping on top of it, but everyone was dead. It was the young giantess tapping the roof instead.

“Come on out, our I'll crush you flat,” The giantess told them with an almost delighted tone in her voice. It seemed like she was looking forward to smashing them.

Olivia looked toward Nancy wondering what to do. Nancy slowly nodded as they got up slowly and opened the carriage door. Slowly they got out of the carriage and saw the Young Giantess waiting for them. She was still hovering over the carriage, squatting behind the carriage guarding either side of it depending on which exit they took.  She looked fascinated and really interested in the vehicle they were in.

“I’ve never seen one of these before,” She said, sounding amazed. “So you ride in it?”

The question felt weird being asked, since she just killed Olivia’s protection and attacked them.  The childish behavior was not something she was expecting from such a killer.

“Yes…” Olivia responded.

The giantess seemed to inspect it some more, “So, it’s like a cart, but for people… cool! Okay,” She said, sounding done with examining it. The curiosity of it was now gone and attention was on Olivia and Nancy. “Two of you, perfect, just my luck. With another mouth to feed I was worried, now both mom and her can eat something-” The giantess smiled a happy and delighted grin that betrayed what was happening.

Olivia and Nancy were about to run when the Giantess quickly said, “If either of you run you’re gonna end up like them,” She said, showing off her hip, which hung the two horses she just killed.  Both were attached to her waist, lifeless like the meat they were gonna be used as.  “And him…” She pointed to the soldier she kicked into the back of the carriage. IF Olivia thought he was still alive before, looking at the body after the impact told her she was dead wrong.

Olivia shook in fear at the warning as the giantess went back to reaching for her. Nancy tugged on her arm to try and flee, but Olivia couldn’t. She was shocked in place as the enormous hand reached out for them both. Sadly, Olivia’s inability to make a decision cost them any opportunity to do anything as both Nancy and Olivia ended up being picked up off the ground like two dolls in this young adult’s hands.

The hand wrapping around Olivia was nothing like when Cindy or Melody picked her up. There was no care or sincerity to it as it wrapped around her chest and hips. It was like a giant snake was crushing the life out of her as she couldn't even breath when being lifted off the ground. Just as Olivia thought she was gonna die or pass out, she was released. Olivia collided with Nancy and suddenly the sound fabric closing from above was heard. They were trapped in a cloth bag of some kind.

“Time to head back,” The giantess announced cheerfully at her big haul. It was just before the sound of the carriage being kicked and sent tumbling down the cliff into a billion pieces. The motions of this horrible cruel giantess walking away swayed and smashed Olivia into Nancy as they slid and bounced about.  Both petrified women clueless to where they were going.

All Olivia knew was they were about to be fed to this Giantess’s mom and someone else.

Olivia did her best as she prayed with all her might, “Please… Dagon… help….”

Chapter 4 by Kickyou
Author's Notes:

Sorry.... it's been more than a while

Olivia did everything she in her power not to scream, as she was tied upside down by her feet and left dangling by her captive’s hip. The large rope was tied to her ankles as she swung back and forth with each mighty step this Giantess took. The Giantess wasn’t even attempting to be gentle as she climbed and hurried across the frosty ground and rocky roads, sending Olivia swinging and swaying in a disoriented way. Olivia lost track of how many times she was thrown into the giantess’s backside as she dangled there attached to that makeshift belt. Olivia was like some kind of squirrel or small animal trapped and captured, which wasn’t far from the truth. She was helpless to the young giantess as she carried her like the helpless creature she was to the enormous being.

Olivia could just catch a glimpse of Nancy on the other side of the giantess, as she too was stuck to the large girl’s hip but on the other side. Nancy was still, just like Olivia, as she did her best not to struggle or fight their captive. Olivia had a feeling that it wouldn’t help if they fought this cruel Giantess. Still, Olivia couldn’t help but feel guilty for dragging Nancy into this, all because of her insistent need. If anything happened to Nancy, Olivia wasn’t sure if she could live with herself….

Well, that was assuming she made it out of this, which wasn’t looking like it. The young Giantess was walking faster than any carriage that Olivia had ridden in, and it only took a few moments before Olivia lost track of where they were. The terrain was different but at the same time similar, as the rocky ground and cold frosty snow sprinkling the ground and soil, all looked the same. Olivia thought of trying to reach for her binds attached to her ankles, but the twisting and twirling around didn't help, and she wasn’t very good with knots to begin with, so untying them with this much motion was impossible for her.

Still, it didn’t help that being hung upside down this long was messing with Olivia’s vision and mind. All the blood in her body was pooling in her head and making her brain throb as she tried to think straight. She swore she saw Dagon chasing after her behind them, and a tiny Dagon-sized Cindy too, but that all had to be fake as she was seeing stars blurring her vision. The mighty throbbing in her skull soon matched her heartbeat as she felt her mind and consciousness fading to the incoming darkness….

“Your Highness….” A voice called out in the distance.

Olivia started to feel herself stirring as she started to get up but her body protested, “Just ten more minutes…” Olivia muttered as she tried to turn over in her bed with her blankets… but it didn’t help as the cold air still bit into her skin. Olivia slowly came to, upside down as she felt the chill biting her exposed skin. It took longer for her to recognize where she was than she wanted, but slowly it was coming back as she saw Nancy on the other side of the Giantess’s hip. “Nancy??” Olivia muttered as she wondered if she too passed out or if it was just Olivia.

“Your Highness,” Nancy repeated, “Are you awake?”

“Y-yes,” Olivia replied softly, but loud enough for Nancy to hear it.

“Good, I was worried,” Nancy replied sounding as she said, very worried about her.

“Worried,” Olivia repeated as she rubbed her head with her hands.

“You have been passed out for a while. I thought… well you're awake, so that’s a good sign,” Nancy told her.

“Yes yes, I’m alive,” Olivia nodded only to regret her nodding. The painful throbbing in her head didn’t help with the shaking of her skull. It took Olivia a long time before she recalled where they were and what was going on. “Oh…” Olivia spoke as she glanced upward, or downward, depending on one’s perspective, as the Giantess continued to carry them.

Feeling the sudden surge of panic at her situation, it took her a brief moment of frenzy to recall that she was upside down and stuck to a Giantess that hunted her, Nancy, and her guard.  Ripping them from her carriage. The thought of those guards that accompanied her parashing, brought a stinging sensation to her chest. They wouldn’t have died if it weren’t for her stupid actions. Those lives were already taking a toll on Olivia’s soul as she couldn’t help but weep at her personal guard dying for her silly request of going to Brax town.

“Where are we,” Olivia asked out loud as she tried to spot something familiar or recognizable, but the ground was cold and void of life, frost and some snow, covered parts of the ground. So it wasn’t like Olivia was out long, or at least she didn’t think so. Most of the land had looked like this during their travels and she sadly couldn’t tell if they had gone only a few miles or over thirty.

“I don’t know,” Nancy replied as she did her best to remain calm. After decades of having Nancy as her maid, Olivia could just make out the signs of fear and worry that was etched into her almost calm words.

“It’s okay, we’ll be fine…” Olivia lied as she tried to stay as positive as she could.

As upbeat and positive as Olivia tried to be it soon vanished in the blink of an eye when she and Nancy were pulled off the Giantess’s backside and dropped carelessly on the ground. Olivia landed with a hard impact as she was dropped what felt like ten or more feet. Her arms and legs felt bruised from the impact as she lay on the cold hard ground holding back a cry of pain. Olivia rolled over to watch the young Giantess walking off without a care in the world as she called out, “Mom I’m back…”

The moment the Giantess was gone, Olivia decided to try and run for it. She tried to stand up but stumbled to quickly realize her legs were still tied up. Olivia rolled over on her back and quickly rushed for the binds on her legs. Digging her nails into the rope, Olivia did her best to try and until the fabric but found it nearly impossible. “COME ON,” Olivia hissed seeing that the teen giantess was gone and this was her chance for escape. “Nancy, can you get free?” Olivia whispered as she scraped and peeled at the firm fabric keeping her legs hog-tied.

“No,” Nancy replied coldly. One look over and Olivia could see Nancy struggling just as hard as she was and making no progress. Holding back a curse, Olivia went back to trying to peel each thread one by one off so she could break free. It wasn’t going as she planned as the rope was being much more difficult to cut through with just her fingers and nails. Olivia looked around for some kind of sharp rock or something to use as a blade, but the ground was bare.

It was beyond upsetting for Olivia to find that she was helpless and stuck. Not one to give up though, Olivia did the only thing she could, she started to crawl and squirm away. “We…” Olivia huffed as she wiggled forward, “Can’t,” Olivia grunted, “Stay here…. We …. need to …. get away,” Olivia strained as she did her best to squirm toward freedom. As much effort as she put in, it was clear that she wasn’t making much progress. With her legs disabled, she wasn’t able to get far with her hands and knees.

The effort Olivia was putting in, wasn’t giving her much results, as she was only getting a few inches a minute. This would have been helpful if she had more time, but the sound of heavy footsteps could be heard as they approached. Olivia closed her eyes and felt dread and fear fill herself as she knew that sound all too well. It was an approaching Giantess. Olivia and Nancy were done for.

“See Mom, I got some food,” The young Giantess said proudly. “It was so easy! Nothing like those other ones. It was like catching some stupid deer,” She laughed, “But easier!”

Olivia didn’t comment as the larger Giantess came closer from behind Olivia, the sudden thumping growing louder and stronger. It wasn’t long before she could hear the heavy breathing of the larger monster. The mother of the young giantess was looking at both of them. Olivia didn’t know what to do, she could only hope that Nancy was picked first so she was left last… but deep down, she rather be the first to go, to keep Nancy safe longer.  Better Olivia went and sated this monster's appetite than one of her best friends…

“I see,” the older Giantess spoke sounding not pleased but at the same time not very upset. A very neutral and causal tone to her voice. “Your first hunt alone went well, that’s good. It wont be long before you can move on, and be a true one of us.”

The pride in the young Giantess was clear as she spoke, “Thanks, Mother.”

“Now, let’s see… Well, this one looks yummy,” the mother spoke finally showing some emotions in her words.

Olivia hardly had time to let out a yelp as the dangling rope tied to her legs was being pulled and yanked upwards. Her legs were dragged off the ground and soon her body was dangling as she was carried up toward an enormous face. It was possibly twice the size of her captive Gaintess’s face. The bland and causal-looking face gazetted at her, examining Olivia with a hunger that could be felt. The facial features on her matched similar looks of the young giantess that captured Olivia. It was clear she was her mother. Just as Olivia was observing her face, the older giantes gave Olivia a mighty shake causing her to cry out in alarm from the drastic and sudden shaking.

The giantess smirked as she grinned, “Ahh, still moving. Gooood, I like it when they squirm inside me. Helps with the digestion,” She spoke casually as if she wasn’t about to kill Olivia.

Olivia couldn’t help herself as she started to wave and scream, “Wait wait wait!”

The giantess didn't look too affected by Olivia’s words as she just let out a deep, “Hmm?” Olivia watched as the giantess hardly even listened as she brought Olivia toward her now-opening mouth. The large teeth and tongue waiting for her inside the open mouth. The hot humid air rushed out and moistened Olivia’s face in a smelly wave of mouth water. Out of instinct she panicky wipped away the moister forming on her face as she approached the open mouth wanting to eat her.

The fear rose in Olivia as she was being brought toward that dark tunnel of teeth and terror. She was gonna be eatten! This Giantess wasn’t wasting any time as she was bringing Olivia to her lips. Olivia was still shaking her head and muttering no, as she watched her doom approach in a widde gapping hole. The older Giantess’s features were slowly starting to burn their features into Olivia’s mind as it was the last thing she would see. That jawline, that nose, the chin, and those blue eyes….

Those very deep blue eyes.

Olivia gasped as they didn’t just remind her of Dagon’t but they were exactly like Dagon’s!  The dark blue mixed with the light blue almost cloudy eyes, just like the sky. The same mixture and context that Dagon and Cindy had!!

“Y-you…” Olivia gasped as she was being lowered into the dark depths of her impending doom into a Giantess’s stomach. Olivia nearly screamed, “DAGON! I KNOW DAGON!!! YOUR SON!!! I KNOW DAGON YOUR SON!!!”

Olivia felt her face stop its descent into the warm gaping maw before her.  She could feel the hot sticky slimy tongue before her. The horrible heinous-smelling scent reeked up from the depths of this Giantess’s gullet as she held her frozen there inches from her fate. The tip of the large woman’s tongue wiggled and slurped over Olivia’s forehead and face as she was positioned there for a few moments. Finally, after the longest time in all of human history, Olivia was slowly pulled out of the nastiest mouth she had ever been in.

“What was that,” The giantess asked not sounding very amused. In fact, she looked very upset. Her mood went from casual to a very pissed-off giantess. It seemed Dagon wasn’t the word to use, but Olivia already did.

“I,” Olivia said gasping and spitting out the giantess saliva in her mouth before she went on, “Dagon… I know… dating… him…”

“Dating…” She asked, the word springing from her lips like a hot summer breeze as it rushed over Olivia’s face.  The smell was much less pleasing than a hot summer breeze… “What is that?”

It took Olivia a moment to realize this was a term not familiar with Giantess. They didn’t date…

“I uh…” Olivia didn’t know why but the first word that came to mind that would clear this up was the most embarrassing and humiliating as it lept out of her lips, “MATE with him!”

It was now that a sign of amusement or enjoyment spread over the Giantess’s face, “Oh… Dagon mates with you?”

Olivia didn’t know if it was the heat from the giantess breath making her feel red in the face, or the embarassment, or maybe it was the blood rushing to her head as she hung upside down, but she was sure she was redder than a blooming apple. The fact she just said that to anyone… and to Dagon’s mom nonetheless, or at least she assumed it was his mother…

A mom that should be dead????

“You-you’re Dagon’s mom,” Olivia asked more shocked than if her dad came out of the woods and told her she was adopted right now. It was a blow that hit harder than she knew as did her best not to act too reactive in showing her hand. However, Olivia had no idea how well she was pulling this off, as she was very shocked right now.  Her mouth was most likely wide open gaping at the sudden realization of who she was with righ tnow. “I… I thought you were dead,” Olivia squeaked out as she looked at the older MILF that held her still upside down before her mouth. It looked like she was still debating on eating her right now as she held Olivia upside down.

“Dead,” She repeated as she slowly shrugged, “Obviously not.” Olivia didn’t know what to say as she realized that Dagon’s mom didn’t feel or care about talking, instead, she held Olivia just there before her mouth, ready to toss in if she felt like it.  Olivia watched as that enormous mouth started to open wider as it went on. “Well, Dagon’s mate or not. I’m hungry, and you’re just the kind of meal I’ve been looking forward to.”

Olivia felt her eyes bulge out as she was slowly being brought back toward that horrible mouth that attempted to swallow her just moments ago. Those enormous teeth parted wider as Olivia’s struggling hands and upper body were being lowered down toward the spreading maw. Olivia screamed as the back of her head touched the tongue of Dagon’s mom’s mouth. The grasp on Olivia’s tied-up feet was starting to lessen as things started to flatten out with Olivia on that squishy slimy soft bed of tongue bedding. Olivia could see the back of Dagon’s mom’s throat oepneing and tilting her and the rest of the mouth to swallow her whole. Olivia started to cry as she realized this was her doom!  SHE WAS GONNA BE EATEN-

The sudden startling sounds of a very young childish voice rang out “NANA!”

The familiar voice of Ashley calling out, shockingly loud, quickly filled the air around everyone. Olivia was held in the mother Giantess’s throat as Ahely called out again, “NANA!”

Olivia could only listen to the words from inside of Dagon’s mother’s mouth as much of the noise was already muffled by the drooling and slobbering chamber she was stuck in. The words were gurgled and stifled by the layer of flesh and slime as Ashely greeted Nancy. The full name being a little to hard for the young giantess to pronounce, so Nana was the preferred term for Nancy.

It wasn’t long before Olivia heard the teen Giantess that kidnapped them say, “Uh mom… I think they know each other?”

There was a rumbling before Olivia was pulled out of the hungry gullet of the older giantess who didn’t look very pleased, “And?”

Olivia was gagging and coughing up the saliva she got stuck in her mouth and on her face. It took a few moments to recover from the near-death she experienced. “I said… I know… Dagon…” Olivia coughed.

To Olivia’s horror, Dagon’s mom just rolled her eyes, “Like I said before, And???”

“I…” Olivia paused as she realized that wasn’t enough for her. Maybe she didn’t believe her, or worse, she didn’t care. Olivia didn’t know what to say until she heard the childish sounds that Ashley was making. A quick glance over to Ashley and Oliviva could see how much Ashley was hugging Nancy to death in her giant small arms. Like a typical Giantess child, she had no idea how strong she was but the childish cuddle told everyone that she was familiar with the one she was squeezing like a toy teddy bear. “I’m Ashley’s stepmom,” Olivia quickly blurted out.

Those words didn’t seem to go well with Dagon’s mom as she gave her a cold and unammused look. Trying not to get killed, Olivia could only say the first thing that came to her mind, “Melody! Talk to Melody! She’ll vouch for me, we both know each other I swear it!” It wasn’t till those words came out that she feared that maybe this was Melody’s time to remove Olivia from the picture. It would only take a simple “no” for Olivia to meet her doom. But Melody wouldn’t do that, right? Not wanting to risk the chance of Melody wanting to remove Olivia from the board of Dagon’s love life, she quickly thought of something that might convice this titanic woman that she wasn’t lying. Olivia quickly waved at Ashley to get her attention. She soon spotted Olivia and gave her a wave back as she let Nancy go. “See,” Olivia tried to prove her point. Just, look, take me to Ashley’s mom, we know each other!” Olivia shouted trying not to cry as she felt like her words weren’t working for the older Giantess. She looked to be considering if it was worth keeping Olivia around or just swallowing her right here and now.

Each second Olivia hung upside was nerve-racking as she could feel the Giantess considering just eatting her. The feeling of the Giantess’s fingers tightening on her legs as they periodically swung Olivia back and forth didn’t help as she felt like a snack between those large digits. However, the large Giantess slowly leaned down till she was closer to Ashley as she held Olivia upside down toward her. “Little one,” Dagon’s mom asked shaking Olivia by the feet, dangling before Ashely. “Do you know this little… THING?”

Olivia never felt more horrified in her life. It was literally all in the palms of a child, a cute but very confused looking child glancing up at Olivia. One wrong word would mean the end of her life. Olivia’s entire being was about to be decided by a little kids response. Olivia’s life with Ashley flashed before her eyes as she questioned everything she ever said or did to upset the child. Even the slightest mistake or wronging could lead to Olivia’s death as she watched the little giant child ponder the question. Did Ashely know Olivia….

Did she know Olivia, especially at this young age?!?!

It took a billion heartbeats for Ashley to finally speak, “Yup… she’s daddy’s friend!”

Olivia felt her heart sink at the word, FRIEND.

Dagon’s mom questioned the word, “Friend?”

Ashley continued to hold and squeeze Nancy as she spoke, “Mhmm, Daddy is always with Owivia. She’s daddy’s bestest friend.”

Olivia slowly opened her eyes as she looked up at Dagon’s mom who didn’t look very impressed. Wanting to correct Ashely on her name, Olivia opened her mouth to correct the child but felt the sudden need to be silent as the Giantess’s eyes were set on her. It took the large woman a long time but finally, she let out a deep sigh as she slowly lowered Olivia before dropping her on her backside. With a huff, she quickly called out, “Hazel!”

The teen giantess moved closer to Dagon’s mom, “Yes?”

“You need to go hunting again. Bring me something fresh and warm. I want it squirming,” The older Giantess spoke as she looked very crossed.

“Yes mother,” Hazle spoke hurring off into the dark woods.

Olivia looked up at the older mother figure as she slowly took a seat and let out a deep sigh. She looked very tired, and then a quick glanced over at Olivia caused her to stiffen. Olivia wanted to say thanks but, she had a feeling that wouldn’t help the Giantess with her decision she made. Instead Olivia could only say, “Why?”

The motherly Giantess leaned back into a large rock as she slowly grunted. It took her a long while before she spoke, “Because…” She spoke softly before saying, “ A crying child,” She slowly nudged her head toward Ashley who was giggling and playing around with Nancy like she was a friendly toy, “Is more annoying than having a little tiny like yourself wandering around.”

Olivia wanted to say something but slowly closed her mouth. That wasn’t a compliment as much as it was an insult. However, Olivia wasn’t about to fight Dagon’s mom on her words. Heck, she wasn’t even sure she could argue about her views. Shit, she nearly ate Olivia a few moments ago! What was Olivia doing sitting around with this horrible creature before her?!

However, as much as Olivia wanted to run, she couldn’t. Epsically with poor Ashley nearby, and with no Melody in sight. Olivia would need to protect the large young child from whatever horrors that were having Melody distracted.

Which brought the thought to her mind… Where the fuck was Melody????

“What do you mean they were eating Giantess???” Cindy asked sounding horrified at the news Dagon gave her.

“I mean they were eating them!” Dagon repeated louder as he checked the ground again finding no marks of any Giantess’s activity, just like the past hour or so that he had been searching.

Cindy couldn’t help it as she kept pushing Dagon, “Like… you mean-”

Dagon let out an agervated sound at his sister who wasn’t getting it, “LIKE THEY WERE EATING THEM! My God Cindy, I'm not making this shit up to scare you or anything, if that’s what you’re thinking. I literally saw the bones… they were fucking throwing Giantess’s skin or meat or whatever out for people to eat… to EATTTT!!! They’re fucking,” Dagon spat each letter out, “E, A, T, THEM, Cindy. They are hunting and killing Giantess for food…” Dagon shook his head as he looked back at Cindy, “Just like how they were being eaten by-” The words out of his mouth were quickly shut off as he realized what he was about to say almost sounded like he was justifying the action the villaigers were doing.

However, Cindy didn’t let it go as she pushed Dagon on what he was saying, “What? What was that???”

Dagon shook his head, “Nothing, sorry never mind. We need to get moving-”

Cindy slammed her foot before Dagon as she let out a rude sound, “NO… you were saying something. Now what was it? Go on say it. What was it you were gonna say?!”

Daogn had never seen Cindy so upset but it was something he wasn’t shocked to see. Instead, he glanced up at her and crossed his arms. After a long few minutes of a stare down, Dagon finally said, “What do you want me to say? They are eating Giantess! Just like how all the Giantess are eating them! They all deserve this fucked up circle of killing each other. They should both eat each other till they are all gone! I don’t know what else to say other than to leave them alone and let this play out the way they want. I just,” Dagon quickly huffed as he let his emotions calm down. “I just want to bring them home, both Ashley and Melody. They don’t need to be out here, not with these people and all this danger around here.”

Cindy didn’t say anything as they went on walking. It took her a few moments before she muttered softly, “We’re not all like that.” Dagon almost missed it, as large and loud Cindy could be, she could be extremely quite when she wanted to.

Dagon paused as he looked up at his little sister, “Cindy, you can’t think I meant you.”

“Well,” Cindy said still upset, “You said ALL the Giantess…”

Dagon didn’t know if his sister was teasing him or being serrious right now, “Cindy… you don’t eat people. Or are you telling me you been sneaking off at night to chow down on some poor people you come across?”

Cindy looked sick at the thought, “NO!”

Dagon snorted, “Then it’s obvious I wasn’t talking about you. Did you think I meant you? Or what about Ashley and Melody? Did you think I included them? That I would want to see them dead?”

It was now that Cindy gave Dagon a look like he was being a jerk, “Well, not now, duh.”

Dagon shook his head at his little sister, “I swear, to have you as my sister is more of a pain than getting stepped on, and I’ve been stepped on many times by your freakishly large feet, so like that’s say something.”

Cindy let out a half laugh and gasp as she glared at him with embarrassment, “You little! My feet aren’t that big!’

“Are you kidding,” Dagon laughed, “LOOK AT THEM! How Nancy can tolerate them is a mystery I will never be able to solve, that’s for sure.”

Cindy blushed red as she lifted her foot and started to try and stomp on or at least knock Dagon down. He was easily able to dance out of the way, “I’ll show you how painful it can be when I step on you,” Cindy remarked as she tried to trample her brother under one of her feet.

“Okay okay, truce,” Dagon laughed as he felt like they were getting distracted.

Cindy paused for a moment, giving Dagon a moment to collect himself. Thinking it was over, Dagon turne daround.  However he was suddenly hit with a boop in the back of his body as Cindy slammed her toes right into him, sending Dagon sprawling into the snow. Cindy snickered, “Oops, my fault. Sorry didn’t see you there with my BIG feet in the way.”

Dagon wasn’t as upset as most people would be after being kicked into a snow drift by their humongous sister, but he couldn’t help but feel like maybe they were goofing off a bit too much. “Okay okay, are you done? I mean it’s not like were in a canablistic territory with people hunting for Giantess, and let’s not forget that there are Giantess hunting people. Especially with my daughter and her mother out there.”

“Hey you started it,” Cindy laughed. “Don’t start nothing, if you can’t finish it.”

Dagon didn’t comment as he got up and brushed himself off. It wasn’t worth fighting his sister over this as it seemed she was in a better mood already. Something that he was happy to see. Dagon slowly got up from his landing on in the snow pile and started to look around.

There was something that caught his eye, a certain pattern of flattened ground to a point. Heading over to the area, he quickly knelt down and looked over the smashed dead grass and noticed how large the area was. However, it was the soft gentle patch next to it, of a smaller footprint that let Dagon know what he was looking at. A Giantess and a young Giantess heading in the same direction. Dagon wasn’t sure if this was Melody and Ashley but he had a feeling that it could lead to something that they needed to follow. “This way,” Dagon told Cindy as he pointed the direction of the pathway.

Cindy paused her childish activities as she looked down the long distant path that Dagon pointed to, “You sure?”

“No… but I’m sure there aren’t that many Giantess with kids around Ashley's age and size. If it’s not them, maybe they saw where they went. It’s better than stumbling around for other clues.” Dagon looked at his sister as he gave her a stern look, “We have to at least start somewhere…”

Giving him a nod Cindy bent down and picked up Dagon and carried him up to a more manageable height. Cindy picked up her pace as she hurried after the footsteps and the trail Dagon pointed out. Dagon didn’t say anything as Cindy ran or jogged faster than he could sprint. It was something that made him glad that she came along. That and the company, Cindy always seemed to keep him calm or distracted at the right times when Dagon really needed it. Looking past Cindy’s large fingers, he kept his eyes on the ground and helped direct Cindy toward the direction of the footprints were heading.

Things were going well, that was until the unthinkable happened. The footprints split. The smaller ones trailed off in another direction as the larger ones headed in another direction. Dagon had to tell Cindy to stop suddenly as he noticed the parting of ways. It was clear they split apart.

Dagon cursed under his breath as he watched the pair of footmarks head in one direction while the other went off toward who knew where. Dagon grumbled as Cindy lowered him down, “Shit…” Dagon grumbled as he stood there wondering where to go. He started to doubt himself, there was no way Melody would have left Ashley, at least he hoped that was true. This had to be another set of footsteps, right?

“What’s wrong,” Cindy asked trying to poke Dagon’s mind.

“They split up… why would she leave her,” Dagon spoke just loud enough for Cindy to hear. “This doesn’t make sense, maybe I missed something back there,” Dagon said starting to head back from the split.

“Dagon, we don’t have time for this…” Cindy expressed her worry, as she seemed just as concerned as he was.

Dagon couldn’t help but glare up at his sister wanting to snap at her for reminding him how important this was. However, he bit his tongue as he fought the troubling urge to say something mean. “What if it’s not them,” Dagon told Cindy his fear.

Cindy scoffed and rolled her eyes, “All the more reason to hurry up and find out now! Jeez big bro I swear sometimes you act so stupid at the worst times.”

Dagon groaned as he shook his head at his sister’s very direct approach. He wanted to yell at Cindy or to at least take his anger out in some way, but his increasing worry about his daughter’s being, way out here by herself filled his mind. His increasing need to find Ashley was at the forefront of his mind, “Fine fine, come on big feet let’s go this way.”

Cindy gasped, “BIG FEET?!”

“YES,” Dagon laughed as he pointed at those kickers that nearly killed him from knocking him over not even an hour ago, “BIG,” Dagon said jerking his hand back and forth between his sister’s bare feet, “FEET!” Cindy started to lift her foot up to attempt a stomp on Dagon in her anger, but Dagon quickly sprung his lost child on Cindy before she could attack, “You’re wasting time, your niece is out there all alone and you're busy trying to step on me…”

Cindy narrowed her eyes on Dagon before slowly lowering her hand to let him back on, “Ooooh you’re so freaking lucky I care more about her than you.”

Dagon chuckled at his sister's remark.

As much as they bickered and fought it was their way of hiding and distracting each other’s emotions from the moment. Dagon was sure he would have spent ten or even twenty minutes trying to debate which set of footprints to go after. He still wasn’t sure if he should be following after the very possible Ashley or Melody markings he found. However, Ashley came first, obviously, but what would be the reason to split up with their child?

Things got a little more confusing, as Dagon noticed extra footprints joining the smaller one, “Look… she met up with more Giantess,” Daogn pointed out.

“Melody’s family?” Cindy offered.

Dagon wasn’t sure, Melody never mentioned much of her family and there wasn’t a large set of footprints, just two. “Maybe…” Dagon muttered thinking about it. Maybe he should go after the other set of tracks. If it was Melody then he could find out what was going on, but if these tracks did lead to Ashley, there would be no way Dagon would forgive himself for leaving his daughter when she needed him.

“Shit… okay let's keep going. Worse case, this isn’t them…” Dagon said not so sure at the moment. He wanted to keep his hopes up that Melody wouldn’t have split off from Ashley, but in the worst case, what if she had to do it? What would have made her make that decision? Dagon shut out his worry as he closed his heart off to the thought and grounded himself down to the facts and what needed to be done. He needed to follow this trail and see what was at the end of it. “If you can,” Dagon told Cindy as he did his best to keep his nerves and worry down, “Can you go faster?”

Cindy let out a snort, “Faster… you haven’t even seen fast yet.” Cindy went from Mach One to Mach Four as she sprinted forward faster than Dagon was expecting. Dagon held on as the wind ripped past him just as Cindy broke the speed barrier as they dashed through the gnarly-looking woods and after what Dagon hoped was his little giant daughter…

Olivia sat next to the fire, as she and Nancy were still tied up. Her bindings were wrapped around her hands and feet, keeping her immobilized. However as bad as it was that they were restrained they didn’t seem to have to worry about being eaten, as both Hazel and her mother didn’t seem to be in the mood to consume them specifically. Instead, they were spared from such a horrible fate. The only issue that Olivia had, was where Ashley was right now. Dagon’s mom led her away with words that Olivia couldn’t make out but the way they walked off it almost seemed like they were very close, almost like family. As much as Olivia wanted to keep Ashley around, she had to first think about how to get herself and Nancy free. They were stuck at this campsite and were still strung up like two packages of meat waiting to be devoured.

“Nancy,” Olivia whispered just loud enough for her to hear. “Can you get free?”

“Sorry your highness, I can’t,” Nancy said sadly.

“Dang it,” Olivia muttered as she tried to struggle to get free while the Giantess’s were all distracted and away. “Why is it I never have something sharp on me when I need it,” Olivia grumbled as she sighed in defeat. She was strung up and now hopelessly trapped till-

There was a sudden impact as something large and quick slid up against her.  The large object grabbed Olivia and held her tight.

Olivia turned and saw the last person she ever thought would be there for her, Dagon.

Olivia felt her heart racing and her eyes widened as her mouth opened up to call out his name-

Dagon gave her a harsh and startling “SHH,” with his finger pushed toward her lips as he glanced around frantically.

Olivia didn’t say anything as Dagon continued to look around drastically. When his attention came back to Olivia he mouthed out, “WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!” Olivia couldn’t help but feel horrible as it seemed she had only set Dagon up for more problems with her need to be here.

So Olivia weakly mouthed her answer, “Helping?”

The look on Dagon’s face made Olivia’s heart drop and she could see the troubled and annoyed look on his face. Just as Olivia was gonna apologized, Dagon gave Olivia a smirk with a loving smile, something that made her heart melt. Dagon quickly shook his head and mouthed, “Of course you are… stay still.”

Olivia couldn’t move even if she wanted to, but just like Dagon asked, she stayed still. Dagon flipped out a dagger quicker than she could blink and was slicing the ropes from her arms and legs. Dagon was done cutting Olivia free in a fraction of a second and she was all over Dagon. She quickly hugged him and felt safer than ever before. Not even the carriage ride was as safe as she was in Dagon’s arms. As Olivia pulled away, the look on Dagon’s face melted her resolve as she could tell he wanted to do more than just hug. However, Dagon blinked a few times before pulling away to continue what he came here for.

Feeling a little confused at his actions, it wasn't till Dagon whispered, “I’ll get Nancy, go that way, Cindy is waiting…” Olivia felt so ashamed that she forgot about everyone and everything going on. The thought of what she wanted to happen between the two of them made Olivia want to bash her head against a rock as she literally forgot about her best friend and maid tied up helplessly beside her.

“Okay,” Olivia whispered in the most quiet voice she could as she shuffled off toward a dark set of woods-

WAIT

What was she doing??

Olivia paused midway, she swore she could see a faint outline of Cindy looking bewildered at her actions as she froze. However, Olivia needed to tell Dagon something important. She quickly spun around and hurried toward Dagon who was busy slicing Nancy free.

“Dagon,” Olivia spoke quietly as she got closer.

Dagon spun around and looked bewildered, “WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” Dagon mouthed loudly.

“You don’t understand,” Olivia said as quietly but as loudly as she dared. “Ashley is here.”

Dagon froze at the news as he quickly looked around for his daughter. Olivia wanted to say something else but Dagon wasn’t paying attention.

“Also,” Olivia spoke as she got closer, “You need to know that your M-”

The sound of footsteps approaching could be heard. Dagon was quicker than Olivia could speak as he snached both Olivia and Nancy’s arms and tore them away from their position. Dagon was quicker than Olivia thought was humanly possible as she was practically dragged them across the ground. Her feet could hardly keep up as Dagon fleed toward the edge of the Giantess’s camp. Nancy and Olivia could hardly keep up as he never let go and made them practically sprint, unless they be dragged across the ground like a knapsack.

Olivia and Nancy were pulled into the dark depths of the deserted forest, the night helping cover their escape. Olivia felt Nancy vanish in an instant before the sound of soft smooching and kissing was heard nearby.

Cindy’s silent cries were heard as she kept repeating, “Oh God safe, oh God your safe…”

Just as Olivia felt left out she felt Dagon pulling her closer as he gave her the love and attention she desired as he held her safely and close in his arms. His warm strong embrass kept her from crying when all that happened finally hit her. The danger and lose she experienced and the possible death she encountered racing through her mind. Olivia opened her mouth to say something but Dagon gave her a gentle and loving kiss in the dark. “You're safe… we got you...it’s all okay now…”

Olivia crumbled at those protective words, and the way he held her close to him, she melted like chocolate out in the sun. She couldn’t help but lean into that lean body as she felt so helpless not being with him. Dagon was her rock that she needed, and him saving her was something she never thought would happen suddenly hit her. She could have sworn his mom would have eaten her-

His mom…

It was a struggle but Olivia pulled back from the confused-looking Dagon. “Dagon, we need to talk, it’s about-”

The sound of Hazel approaching could be heard as she called out, “Hey mom I-” She stopped talking as she spotted Olivia and Nancy’s bonds cut and discarded to the side. “How the-” Hazel gasped as she quickly looked around. “Shit, Mom, they got out! They ran away,” Hazel shouted as she rushed toward the cut ropes lying empty on the ground.

As Hazel was looking at the ropes, Dagon tugged on Olivia’s arm as he tried to pull her away from the camp. “Come on, let’s get out of here before she tries to track us,” Dagon whispered.

“Wait Dagon,” Olivia protested trying to get him to listen. He seemed to be in his own little world, as he tugged on her arm. Olivia let out another protest as she dug her feet into the hard ground fighting him, “Dagon, wait-”

The sudden familiar voice of Ashley calling out caused Dagon to freeze in his tracks. His daughter quickly asked with a confused tone, “Where did they go?”

Dagon quickly spun around and in the darkness, Oliiva could see the startled look on his face. Olivia spoke softly, “That’s what I was trying to tell you. Ashley is with them. They are-”

Before Olivia could even finish Dagon let go of her hand and quickly called out to his sister, “CINDY!”

One moment Olivia was there in the darkness with Dagon, and out of nowhere, Nancy was set down by her, just as a giant shadow flew by with Dagon dashing after her. They were gone in a matter of seconds. There was the sound of the heavy footsteps of a giantess causing Olivia to spin around and watch as Cindy was barreling into the camp and heading straight for Hazel with a startling speed for someone her large size. There was nothing for Olivia to do but to watch as Cindy gave Hazel no time to prepare as she was caught off guard. With her shoulder down and in place, Cindy slammed into Hazel with so much force, that she was sent flying through the air and onto the ground with a massive thump. Olivia would have sworn that impact could have knocked down one of Hagger towns walls. Yet, Cindy didn’t let up as she proceeded to pin and keep Hazle away from Dagon and Ashley, holding her ground as Hazel let out her own cursing and protesting at the slightly larger Cindy on top of her pinning her down. Dagon was doing everything he could to try and cox Ashley to follow him.

“Come on, Ashley! This way! Come, catch Daddy!” Dagon shouted as he frantically jumped and moved around to attract her attention, something that was working for him as Ashley followed him like a puppy ready to play. Ashley was soon hurrying after Dagon as a child would race after a parent wanting a warm hug hello.

“DADDY!!!!” Ashley hurried after Dagon, as he led Ashley toward Olivia and Nancy into the darkness out of the camp.

Olivia didn’t know what to do. Did she try and stop Dagon and Cindy from fighting with Hazel? Or was escaping the best option for them all? It wasn’t like this was a very welcoming place for Olivia and Nancy, yet wasn’t this their family? Olivia had so many questions and so little time to ask them. She opened her mouth to try and say something to Dagon as he rushed toward her, however something caught her eyes.

“LOOK OUT!” Olivia shouted as she pointed upward.

Dagon had a brief moment to glance behind him before skidding to a halt as a gigantic tree trunk came smashing down and slamming into the base of the trees before Olivia. The enormous log blocked off any view as laid before her and a couple of trees, blocking it off from rolling over her and Nancy.

“Dagon,” Olivia called out. “Dagon are you okay,” Olivia tried to hurry toward one of the sides of the trees, but Nancy was there to stop her.

“Princess, please… it’s dangerous, I can’t let you get involved,” Nancy said sourly as it seemed to hurt her as much as it did Olivia that she would say that.

“We’re the only ones that know who they are to each other,” Olivia objected. “Cindy and Dagon are fighting their own family and they don’t even know it! What if they or the others hurt each other? I can’t-”

Nancy seemed to fold as she understood and quickly nodded, “I’ll help you over, it’ll be quicker.”

Thank you,” Olivia said as they rushed to the giant tree trunk. Olivia, with Nancy’s help, was able to climb over the top of the enormous wooden blockade in the way. The moment she was on top of the tree, she took a moment to assess the situation.

It was pure chaos as a lot had changed for the brief moment that Olivia was cut out from the ongoing mess. Olivia spotted Ashley crying and standing there as it seemed she was freaked out from the enormous tree that nearly hit her. The fight must have set off her tantrum, however, that was the least of Olivia’s worries as things only got worse from there. She glanced over to see Cindy now pinned on the ground with Hazel on top, her hands trying to grab Cindy’s throat. Dagon was racing toward Hazel, he already pulled out his daggers and it looked like he was going to murder Hazel the moment he got to her. Something that Olivia had no doubt would happen. The only thing keeping Hazel safe from Dagon, was their mother outside the campfire light, tossing random objects at him. Dagon was ducking and sliding and jumping out of the way, slowly but surely making his way toward Hazel who had her back to him, totally unaware of the danger coming for her.

Olivia couldn’t let this go on. Olivia took a deep breath till her lungs hurt and quickly cupped her hands over her mouth and shouted as loud as her throat let her as she screamed till her voice broke, “YOU’RE ALL FAMILY!!!!!!!!”

Everyone seemed to pause and turn toward Olivia as she coughed and gasped after expelling every speck of air from her lungs. She was panting and rubbing her sore throat as Cindy and Hazel looked at each other. It wasn’t till their eyes locked in on each other and the look of recognition kicked in.

“Wh-” Cindy spoke as Hazel looked equally confused. Slowly she slid off of Cindy as she kept examining her recently discovered sister. “But… how…” Cindy asked looking just as puzzled as Dagon was as he approached.

Slowly but surely another Giantess walked out of the dark and into the light.

Olivia watched with some sense of joy, or hope, that the long distant family that rejoined together could try and mend or be one together after so long. However, Dagon and Cindy’s mom broke that with a very disgruntle tone as she looked right at Dagon and said, “Oh… it’s you…”

Olivia was shocked at how heartless and uncaring their mother was toward seeing her children after so long. Especially if they thought she had been dead the past fifteen or so years! There didn’t seem to be any joy or happiness in her voice as she dropped the boulder in one hand on the ground as she headed toward the fire to warm up.

Cindy looked shocked, as if she was seeing a ghost of some kind. However, Dagon had his own emotional reaction. It was one of disgust and hate, “Well fucking hell,” he said which Olivia could hardly hear from so far away. Dagon didn’t even sheet his blades as he went on, “Aren’t you supposed to be dead already?”

Olivia watched as Dagon’s mom finally gave a smile, a cold and cruel one as she replied, “I could say the same thing about you, human…”

This was obviously not how Olivia thought any of this would have gone. The bad blood between family seemed to be deeper and much colder than she originally thought. It was now that she regretted that maybe she should have let Dagon save her and Nancy and left without starting this drama. Because as cold as the night air was with the warmth of the fire going, the tension between all of Dagon’s family was much much colder….

Chapter 5 by Kickyou

Dagon had no words to share at the moment. He couldn’t stop glaring at the last person he expected to see in his entire life, his fucking mother. She sat there, acting like her own children weren’t there with her as she ate her damn food. Dagon fought the urge of doing something really stupid, which was hard, considering how pissed off he was at his mom. Dagon was sure that if Ashley and Olivia weren’t there with him right now,  he would be doing something he may or may not regret later. Dagon felt his hands itching to grab his daggers; the only thing keeping them sheathed was Olivia’s calm, collective hand literally on top of his.

Taking a deep breath, Dagon tried to keep his cool. Cindy, on the other hand, looked so shell-shocked she hardly noticed Nancy taking a seat in her lap. Dagon would have made fun of Cindy’s jaw-dropping face right now, but there was a fine line between teasing and being a jerk. Not saying Dagon didn’t cross it, but right now wasn’t the time for it. Dagon watched his mom, who should be deader than dirty right now, chuck the remains of her meal into the fire as she casually licked her teeth of any food between them.

Even though it was dark and dangerous outside of the campfire, Dagon wanted to get out of here. He wanted to be as far away from his biological mother as he could. However, if it weren’t for the fact that she found Ashley, which was something he hated to be grateful about, but was.  Also, if she found Ashley, then maybe she might have some information on Melody.  Dagon couldn't help but stick around till he got all he could from this bitch.

“So…” Dagon said harshly,  cutting through the silence and straight to the point. “Where’s Melody?”  Dagon was giving his mom the look, one that said he didn’t care for any pleasantry and wanted the facts.

It was silent as Dagon’s mom seemed not to hear him. It was just before Dagon was about to shout out his question again, when she finally spoke casually, “Who?”

Dagon closed his eyes and counted to five as he spoke firmly, “Melody… Ashley’s mom… do you know where she is?”

Dagon’s mom just shrugged, “How should I know?”

If Olivia didn’t squeeze Dagon’s hand, he was sure he would have jumped right for the giantess’ juggler, as she sat there casually like Dagon’s worry didn’t matter to her. Dagon did all he could to keep calm as he felt himself biting the inside of his cheek from shouting at the careless beast before him.  Whatever motherly affection that should have been in her, didn’t show as it was the same massive heartless woman that he recalled back when he was a kid.

Trying to work around the lack of response, Dagon slowly brought up the important information he needed.  “Fine, where did you find my daughter…” Dagon spoke slowly, feeling blood in his mouth from how hard he was chewing his cheeks in annoyance. If he could get back there, he could try and track down Melody. He just needed a location, and they could leave his damn mom alone and forget they ever cross paths

“No idea,” She sighed sounding bored. “I didn’t find the little one, that would be Hazel.”

Dagon slowly turned toward Hazel. His apparently youngest sister, he didn’t know he had till now. It was something shocking to get through as he examined the teen Giantess he and Cindy had attacked not too long ago. He saw that she looked a little baffled at the entire situation but was clearly on his fucking monster of a mother’s side. “Well…” Dagon asked Hazel.

Hazel looked at Dagon, then back at their mom, then back at Dagon. She didn’t look like she understood what was going on, but finally she looked back at Dagon to answer his question, with a snooty tone, “I don’t know.”

Dagon felt a tick building in his jaw as he was losing his patience with his mom and this damn kid. If Olivia wasn’t by his side holding his hand and keeping him calm, he was positive he would have tried to literally beat the answer out of these two. Instead, Dagon took another much-needed deeper breath as he fought the urge down and said with a firm voice, “What do you mean, you don’t know…”

Hazel didn’t seem to like his tone as she crossed her arms and tried to puff herself up bigger than she already was. A common tactic for a giantess asserting their dominance, “I mean I don’t remember! I ran into her when hunting. I don’t even recall where I was.” Hazy didn’t seem to be lying, but her defensive and aggressive stance didn’t help, as it told Dagon that she was holding something back.

Dagon took a much-needed deeper breath as he closed his eyes. Dagon couldn’t help but mutter quietly, “Some giantess, can’t even recall where she’s been…”

“What was that,” Hazel shouted angrily as she caught what Dagon said not so quietly.

Dagon didn’t flinch as he looked at the teen giantess and repeated his muttered response, “I said SOME GIANTESS… anyone hunting would have recalled where they'd been not even a day ago.  Any decent tracker would recall where they've been up to a few days at the least.”

Before Hazel could argue, their mother cut in, “He’s right, Hazel, I taught you better.”

Dagon felt a slight sense of pride in being told he was right, but then that was his mom backing him up, so it just fizzled out. He watched as Hazel wanted to argue before she nodded slowly and responded with, “Yes, mother.”

It was silent again around the bonfire as Dagon watched Hazel look gloomy from the reprimand she got. Before Dagon could say something, his mom spoke up first, “So what now? If you're done, you can leave now.”

Dagon was never happier to hear those words as he started to get up and brush his clothes down.  Just as Dagon was prepared to walk away, Cindy couldn’t help but burst Dagon’s happy bubble. “WHAT?  BUT MOM! HOW ARE YOU EVEN…” Cindy didn’t finish as she sat there looking so longingly at their mother. Dagon wanted to step in, but there was nothing he could do or say. They saw their mother as two different people. Cindy saw her as a loving, caring figure, Dagon… well, to say that when she threw him out was the best thing for him would be an understatement. Dagon sat there waiting for their mother to explain the obvious answer that seemed to elude Cindy..

“Even what,” the older giantess asked, not seeing any issue with Cindy’s upsetting outburst.

Cindy slowly went on, “Well,  alive? I thought you were dying.  WE,” Cindy gestured to Dagon.  “Thought you were dead!”  Dagon didn’t comment. He was busy trying to recall what his sister said, and he was sure Cindy told him their mom was dead, not dying.  Still, the answer came out as Dagon listened to their mom’s response.

“Yes, I was sick, but I recovered. What about it? Why are you acting so clingy? I taught you better than that, Cindy. Stopping being so…” Dagon watched as his mom looked for the right word to use for a moment, right before she found it in a few moments, “Human.”

Dagon, Olivia, and Nancy were all looking at Cindy, who looked so hurt at those words. Not only that, but Dagon’s mom wasn’t even batting an eyelash at the insult that would make many Giantesses fight another at such a demeaning remark.

However, Cindy wasn’t like other Giantesses, and Dagon knew it. He could feel Cindy’s sadness building at the harsh remark. Dagon wasn’t gonna give his mom the satisfaction of seeing Cindy cry before her, so he stood up and made a big show of it. “Well shit, your useless just like normal. Probably would have been better if you stayed dead, anyway, thanks for nothing.”

Dagon and his mom were the only ones who weren’t acting shocked as he started to leave. Cindy was still trying to get answers from their mother, Olivia was trying to make him reconsider leaving, Hazel was trying to ask questions to their mom, and Ashley was wondering what was going on in general.  It was pure chaos around the fire, but at least things weren’t pinned on Cindy.  However, Dagon was already feeling more of his anger building up at what his mom said, and he knew if he stayed, things would get bloody.

Not wanting to spend another minute with his mom, Dagon started to leave, hoping maybe the others might follow.  He took a few steps away from the campfire. He hardly got far when he heard the last thing he expected from his mom. “You're a fool to leave, we already have a fire going. You can at least wait out the night. At least it gives me time to see my grandchild.”

Those words struck something in Dagon as he spun around, “She’s not your grandchild! You’re dead to me and any part of my family! Don’t you dare even try and act like you give a shit!” The only one around the fire that didn’t react to Dagon’s harsh words was his fucking mom. She seemed to expect them as she sat there casually. Dagon felt something in him snap as he wanted his mom to feel something, if anything, toward him, but the lack of it stoked a flame in him that he wished was dead when he heard she passed away so long ago. “Fuck this,” Dagon muttered as he spun around and stormed off.

“Dagon,” Cindy called out, but Dagon ignored his sister’s call as he stomped off into the night. He couldn’t stand his mom, and now he was acting like a child running off in the woods but he knew if he stayed around his damn mom, he would do something he would regret.  Or would he? Probably not.

Dagon growled to himself as he walked into the darkness and out of the firelight. It was a dangerous act, one he would never recommend to anyone, but part of him had some anger in him that was looking for something to fight out here at night. Anything that wanted to attack him would regret it, as he needed to work his rage out. A ghost from his past that he thought was put dead and buried was back, worse was that she was just as bad or even worse than he recalled.

Pulling out his blades, Dagon prepared to attack the nearest creature to get near him. That was till he heard someone calling out to him. “Dagon?” Dagon froze as Olivia hurried after him.  He could just make out her shape in the night as she did her best to keep up with him.

Dagon spun on her in the dark, still furious as he felt the words flying out of his mouth before he could calm down, “WHAT!?” Dagon shouted. Olivia was silent. The pause was enough to make Dagon feel like the asshole he was. Dagon let out a gruff grunt, “I’m sorry…”

Seeming to understand, Olivia didn’t fight or argue with Dagon as she talked to him in the shadowy woods, “Are you okay?”

Dagon didn’t know how to answer that. He wanted to lie and say yes, but it was clear he wasn’t. Besides, he didn’t want to hide behind fake words or anything similar. So instead he spoke the truth, “No. No, I’m not. My fucking…” Dagon sighed heavily, “Are all moms like this?”

“I should hope not,” Olivia joked for a moment, but saw it wasn’t helping Dagon’s mood. “I wouldn’t know, I lost mine when I was young.”

Dagon felt a stab in his gut at those words, “Sorry,” Dagon replied as he took Olivia into his arms to hold for some sense of comfort. “She just…” Dagon didn’t know how to explain it, but Olivia seemed to understand.

“I know,” Olivia told Dagon, “I can understand how you feel. Your mom doesn’t seem to be the kindest person. I mean, she nearly ate me when she found me-”

Dagon’s grip went cold at those words. The emotions in him flared up at the mention of Olivia being in harm's way, and it was his fucking mom too, “She what?!”

Olivia pulled back, “I mean, she didn’t know who either me or Nancy were-”

“Nancy too?!” Dagon felt a fury in his chest growing as he felt his hands itching to grab his daggers and find something to sink them into. He couldn’t, no, he WOULDN’T let this stand. Dagon was gonna personally teach his mom a lesson, “I’m gonna-”

Olivia grabbed Dagon and stopped him, “Stop… just… please, for me. I know you and your mom’s relationship is rough, but it was a misunderstanding and it all worked itself out. We’re all safe and sound right now.”

The anger and hate in Dagon for his mom only seemed to be growing ever since they met. He had no words he could use to share about how he was feeling right now. “She’s not my mom,” Dagon spoke coldly. “She made it clear years ago. Now she’s what, sticking her fucking face into my life again after what she did? No, that’s not how this works.” Dagon could still recall the harsh words his mom told him as she forced him out of her and Cindy’s lives. Olivia didn’t comment as she stayed with Dagon as he kept his distance from his mom. All the turmoil in Dagon was swirling around as he tried to come to terms with all the new information and news he got today. It wasn’t till now that, with Olivia near him, his thoughts were now coming back that he really saw her.  It was almost upsetting that he hadn’t asked yet, “Are you okay,” Dagon asked. As he examined Olivia for any injury. Seeing that Olivia was fine, after her objecting countless times, Dagon slowly shifted the subject to something else. He finally came back to a question he had earlier tonight: “So what the heck are you doing here again?”

It was now that Dagon watched Olivia give an embarrassed and flustered look, “Well… you left without saying anything-”

Dagon scoffed, “I left a note!”

Olivia gave Dagon a swat at his arm, “A pretty shitty note! What the hell was that?”

Dagon was shocked, “I… well, if I tried to tell you in person, you would have done something stupid. Like follow me,” Dagon told Olivia before giving her a look in the pitch black night, “Which you totally did.”

Olivia gave a startled gasp, “That’s only because you left without telling me!’

Dagon wanted to argue with Olivia about it, but he knew it would only go in circles. Dagon felt like he couldn’t win this conversation. So Dagon gave in and decided to concede his point, “You're right, I’m sorry.”

Olivia gave Dagon a sketchy look, as if she knew that he was doing something fishy, “You’re sorry? Well, this is kind of new for you, Dagon, giving in so soon… what gives?”

Dgaon let out a tired sigh as he couldn’t help himself from both hating and loving Olivia for seeing more of him than most, if not anyone else. “There was a reason I wanted to keep you away,” Dagon grumbled. He looked at Olivia and hated the idea that she was here with him. Not that he didn’t love her company and took her presence as a gift, it was more of what he could lose. “I didn’t want you to be in harms way, and look, not even freaking a day and you were nearly killed.” Dagon shook his head as he scoofed, “By my fucking mom none the less!”

Olivia stood there and slowly interjected, “I mean… it wasn’t really your mom. It was Hazel who captured us.”

“My point exactly, you could have died. My mom, Hazel, someone else… it doesn’t matter who it was, it matters that it could and almost did. Olivia, this is no place for someone like you,” Dagon explained.

Dagon wasn’t sure if Olivia thought of her next choice of words, but she said it anyway, “And what about you?”

Dagon just gave Olivia a look, he wasn’t sure she saw in the dark before saying, “I grew up out here. I’m probably the only normal person you might meet who knows what they are doing out in the wild.” Olivia was silent after Dagon’s response. Dagon felt bad about shutting her down, but he wasn’t sure if that was a good or bad sign. So Dagon slowly pulled Olivia closer, “Sorry… as much as I hate that you're here…” Dagon brought his face closer to Olivia, “I’m happy you're here. You silly, silly princess,” Dagon chuckled as he got closer to Olivia’s lips.

Just before Dagon connected, Olivia gave off her own noise of annoyance and acceptance before smooching Dagon. Dagon didn’t pull back as he only pulled Olivia closer and continued to kiss her on the lips. It was such a reassuring feeling and moment that Dagon forgot everything. He didn’t care where he was or what was going on, he just wanted more of Olivia. He wrapped his arms around his one and only princess and kept her close as they kissed in the night. It was a very short kiss, or maybe it was long. Dagon didn’t know, time was absent as he kept himself connected to Olivia till they were both out of breath and exhausted from the action.

Dagon knew that being out in the dark woods wasn’t very smart, but he couldn’t stop himself from continuing as he and Olivia proceeded to show their affection for one another. Dagon was already enveloped in a world of Olivia and the way she was reciprocating those emotions, Dagon knew she was also enjoying it. Dagon’s worries were slowly slipping away each moment he was with Olivia. Every kiss she pushed back to Dagon deleted Dagon’s worries. Running into his mom was soon forgotten, and worrying about Melody soon vanished. Soon, all that mattered to Dagon at the moment was keeping Olivia safe and pleasing the two of themselves.

Slowly backing Olivia up into a nearby tree, Dagon pushed Olivia up into the wooden barrier. The sounds she made were shocking and delightful as she didn’t pull back. “Uh…” She muttered before whispering, “Is this a good idea?”

Dagon held back a snort at the obvious answer. Dagon whispered into Olivia’s ear, “No… but do you want me to stop?”

Olivia shook her head in the dark, it was enough for Dagon to understand as he continued. He knew Olivia’s outfit, as he didn’t need much light, if any, to start to take down the garment that was in the way. Dagon never left Olivia’s loving lips as he kissed his worries and concerns away. Soon, Dagon had one of his hands down past Olivia’s hips. He used his fingers to explore and pleasure Olivia as she used both Dagon and the tree as support. Dagon never let up till he felt the familiar warmth running down his hand that told him Olivia had just climaxed. Dagon kept Olivia pinned between himself and the large wooded wall as he lined his excited self up for entrance.

Dagon leaned into Olivia’s ear as he whispered, “Try and be quiet. Don’t want anyone or anything distracting us. You can bite me if you need to.”

Olivia only muttered acknowledgment as she leaned into Dagon. The moment Dagon entered Olivia’s warm insides, she gasped and chomped down on Dagon’s shoulder like it was a chunk of steak. The pain and pleasure were everything that Dagon needed at the moment. It drew him out of his thoughts and into reality, and the moment he was in with Olivia. He accepted the chomp and proceeded to thrust himself inside of Olivia. The slick and savory love tunnel was worth every second of the nibbling and biting Olivia was doing. Dagon pulled Olivia’s legs up and kept her up against the base of the tree as he used it for support. Olivia’s legs wrapped around Dagon’s hips as she kept her voice muffled into his shoulder like a pillow in bed.

Maybe it was the stress of the past few days, maybe it was the emotions he felt toward his mother that were coming out, or just a combination of a dozen things, Dagon was converting it all into his love making, as he kept Olivia wrapped up and close in his arms. Continuing their loving, Dagon focused on making Olivia squirm, as he could tell by the force she grabbed or mawed at him, how well she enjoyed it. Dagon kept up his motions as Olivia made cute noises in his ear. It was all reactions and experiences that Dagon was able to move Olivia closer to her climax. The way she grabbed with her arms and legs, her insides pulling at him, the sounds she made, it was all clues for Dagon needed to know when or how to proceed. It wasn’t till the end that she clenched down with her inner body as well as her outer. Dagon got the hug of a lifetime as he felt the warmth and compassion behind the squeeze that Olivia was giving Dagon. It was enough for him to join in the pleasuring release as he buried himself into Olivia’s loins and kept her held up against the giant base of the tree. Dagon did his best to keep his release as noiselessly as he could, but he was sure it wasn’t the best effort as he felt his soul leave for a split second.

Time stood still as Dagon only focused on Olivia at this very moment. He shouldn’t have let his guard down, but he couldn’t stop himself as he embraced Olivia during his release.  The blinding feeling of peace and happiness was all that Dagon could do but admire the woman he was joined with.  She was everything to him, right here and now was all that he was focused on.  A moment he would truly die for.  It wasn’t till his post orgasm that reality came back ,and Dagon started to become observant of his surroundings. Luckily, nothing tried to sneak up on them in the night when Dagon was most vulnerable.  Yet just because it didn’t happen didn’t mean it couldn’t so when all things were done, Dagon was back on his guard as he slowly lowered Olivia down from his arms.

Olivia was the first to speak, “Where… did that come from?”

Dagon couldn’t help but smile as he helped Olivia get situated before responding, “As much as I didn’t want you here… I’m glad you're here.”

Olivia let out a light laugh, “Oh, that’s what that was, a simple hello?”

Dagon smirked in the night. “I wish every Hello was like that.”

“Oh, stop it,” Olivia laughed. Dagon smiled at those words, as he could only imagine what Olivia looked like right now. Something that brought Dagon back to where they were. It also seemed to be something that Olivia came to, as she soon asked, “Uh… so is it safe to be out here, at this time of night?”

“You feeling nervous,” Dagon asked, still holding Olivia.

“No,” Olivia replied almost definitely.

“That’s good,” Dagon chuckled.

“But,” Olivia quickly added, “Should I?”

“I mean, it wouldn’t help, but yes,” Dagon told her. “You have a weird knack for getting yourself into bad situations. I wouldn’t go wandering off in the night like this, if someone isn’t with you, especially if there’s a giantess around.” Dagon warned her. After hearing how she got caught, it didn’t help his view of her naive ways on how she thought. However, Dagon didn’t feel like it was the time or place to call her out on it. Instead, he finally felt calmer than before as he let Olivia's presence comfort him into a lulling sense of joy. “Anyway, let’s head back.”

“You feeling better,” Olivia asked with a sound of hope in her voice.

Dagon snorted, “About my mom? Hell no, but with you here, I feel like I can ignore her till we leave. Just don’t let go,” Dagon said, giving her hand a nice, gentle squeeze. “I got a feeling I might do something stupid if you do.” Olivia couldn’t help but laugh at what she thought was a joke. Dagon didn’t correct her, she didn’t know how serious that comment was, as he would need both his hands if he wanted to attack his mom…

Cindy watched Dagon storm off into the cold night. Cindy was about to get up, but saw Olivia hurrying after him. Cindy bit her lip, debating if she should follow, but figured if anyone could get to Dagon other than herself, Olivia could do it. Trusting the small princess to do such a thing, Cindy turned her attention back to her mom… and sister?

“So, uh,” Cindy muttered as she tried to think which of the billions of questions she had right now to ask her mom, which was first? “How… are… things,” Cindy asked, not really feeling like this was the right one to ask.

“Cold,” Her mom stated. “Hazel, where’s the firewood?”

“Right, mother,” She said before getting up and hurrying off into the dark to look for what Cindy assumed was more kindling. Cindy watched the young giantess follow her mother’s command. She reminded Cindy of herself when she was little, well, at that age. Hazel seemed to be the age that Cindy was when she left her mother.  Although that was because she was positive her mom was dying, which was why she left her mother to herself. Those were some of Cindy’s harshest times in her life. Living by herself with no one, not even Dagon. Starving and almost too weak to move. It was a miracle she made it long enough to run into Dagon. It was probably Cindy’s darkest days of her entire life.

Cindy waited till Hazel was gone before asking her mom some much-needed questions. Cindy felt like it had been hours, still her mom didn’t seem too interested in Cindy. It wasn’t till she felt the gentle hand of Nancy on her thigh that Cindy looked down. Nancy was there, no judgment on her face as she gave Cindy her attention and love that she desperately needed. Cindy held back the urge to pick her cute little maid up and kiss her till she was glistening with her smooches. It was just that feeling that Cindy needed to use to force herself to ask the questions she needed from her mom.

“Are you gonna explain yourself,” Cindy asked in a stern and demanding voice.

Cindy watched her mom look a little surprised, as if she found a snack at the bottom of a bag she thought was empty, “Oh? That sounds like a demand. Are you demanding something from your mother?” Cindy felt the pushback from her mom. A figure she always clung to and even now wasn’t sure if she had the will or strength to go up against, that was if she was alone. Nancy, on the other hand, gave her the courage and strength to do just what Cindy always wanted to do.

“Mom,” Cindy said sternly, “enough. How are you still alive? Who is Hazel? Why are you here? What’s going on? How did you find Ashley? Where is Melody?! MOM! If there was ever a time to be caring toward me, hell, even a little bit to Dagon, now is the time. You have to explain.”

Cindy could see her mom debating if she needed to say anything. However, as the silence went on over the camp, Cindy watched as her mom finally decided to answer some questions. “Fine. Seeing as it’ll be a long night if I don’t talk to you, I’ll talk with you for a bit.” Cindy wanted to argue about the reasoning behind why she was doing it, but the fact that she was getting her desired outcome was enough to stay quiet and calm.  Something she knew she could do much better than Dagon.

“Where to begin,” Cindy’s mom said as she thought back slightly as she told Cindy. “I was sick, yes, not feeling so well. I knew I couldn’t keep taking care of you and myself at the same time, so I decided it would be best if you moved on. You were at the age that you’d either make it or not. I figured it was time for you to leave and start your own life.” Cindy gasped as she heard the harsh truth.

Cindy couldn’t stop herself from cutting in, “So you weren’t dying?! You said you-”

“Well, how else was I gonna get you to leave?” She asked Cindy. The question hit Cindy harder than she wanted to admit as she struggled to hold back tears.  Her mom really did abandon her, “I see.”

“Anyway, after you left,” Cindy’s mom said as she went on. “I was starving, and it was getting to that time…”

Cindy frowned. “Time?”

“Oh, come on,” Cindy’s mother snorted, “You're old enough. You should have felt it by now.” Cindy frowned for a second before her mother clarified, “MATTING! My goodness, dear, didn’t I teach you anything?”

Cindy suddenly realized what she meant and couldn’t help but glance down at Nancy. The tiny maid was between her thighs, holding onto Cindy’s leg.  Nancy was applying as much comfort as she could to support Cindy. Something that was way more useful than anything Cindy could think of helping with right now. “Right…” Cindy nodded as she recalled her attempt with Olivia, and the months later, when she and Nancy met. The urge her mother was speaking of was something Cindy was well aware of, just not for the same desired gender.

“Anyway,” Cindy’s mom continued as she went on with her tale. “I found a small group of humans. Plenty of food, and lucky for me, someone that tickled my pus-”

Cindy wasn’t sure if she was speaking for herself or for Ashley, who was still nearby, but she quickly stopped her mother, “MOM! LANGUAGE!”

The look from her mother was shock before she glanced at the little one at the campfire, “Right… you forget about these things when they aren’t yours...” Cindy fought back some words as she waited for her mom to continue. “Right, so I found someone I fancied, after a few nights of fun, I finished him off.” Cindy didn’t comment as she knew the term. Either her mom ate the man or injured them to the point of death. Whatever the cause was, Hazel’s father met a similar fate to her and Dagon’s parents. Cindy slowly nodded as she let her mom go on. “It wasn’t long before I knew I had another child brewing. So I found a place with a good supply of food, and joined a few other hunting groups. They helped till I gave birth to Hazel. After that, I raised Hazel as any proper mother would, and here we are.”

Cindy felt a punch to the stomach. She didn’t know which part hurt more, the fact that her mother acted like nothing happened since she was thought dead, or the fact that she didn’t seem to share anything that might have transpired over those years. It was like nothing mattered to her, or maybe it was that Cindy wasn’t worth having it explained to. Cindy felt sick to her stomach, and she didn’t know why. “Oh,” Cindy muttered as she glanced away from her mom across the bonfire.

“Are you okay?” Nancy asked Cindy, as she never let go of Cindy’s leg, showing her support.

Cindy gave her a weak smile as she tried to let her know that she’ll be okay. As Cindy was about to say something, her mom spoke up, “So what is it with that one? It’s been clinging to you since you got here.”

Cindy felt a startling spark run up her spine as her mom noticed Nancy. Both Cindy and Nancy looked shocked at the question. Cindy, more so than Nancy, as her mom was calling her out on something she wasn’t prepared to explain. Feeling her mouth move before her mind could, Cindy told the truth, “She’s Dagon’s mate’s maid, Nancy. Olivia is a princess, so she has people who take care of her.”

The explanation was so quick that Cindy couldn’t help but frown inwardly as she didn’t know why she was telling her mom this. Deep down, Cindy wanted to tell her mom that Nancy was her mate, her lover, her one and only… but part of her stopped Cindy. Her mom couldn’t or wouldn’t accept the truth behind Cindy’s relationship. Looking back at how she handled her lack of eating people, it was a clear sign she wouldn’t support Cindy’s loved one. Cindy glanced down at Nancy and watched in pure horror as a weak smile appeared on Nancy’s face. It seemed she understood Cindy’s response. Before Cindy could take anything back or correct what she meant, Nancy spoke up, “I’m Miss Olivia’s personal servant. Anything she needs, I’m there to take care of it. It’s a pleasure to meet you, Dagon’s mother.” Nancy proceeded to do a bow toward Cindy’s mother.

“Well, look at you, finally introducing yourself. A maid… what exactly is that?” Cindy heard her mom ask Nancy.

“I take care of any and all of Lady Olivia’s needs,” Nancy told Cindy’s mother without any hesitation.

“Like a slave. Interesting. Well, it’s nice to meet you, Ms. slave,” Cindy’s mother remarked.

Cindy felt something in her heart drop. To hear Nancy be called a slave, hit her like a punch in the gut. It was impossible for Cindy to examine Nancy’s expression after those words, but Nancy never argued or spoke back. She simply let those words wash over her and accepted the term, slave. Cindy went to open her mouth, but Nancy didn’t let Cindy talk as she spoke up, “Likewise. Master Dagon spoke briefly of you with Miss Olivia. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” The formal tone that Nancy spoke in, Cindy could tell it was a practiced and forced tone. Something that Nancy used when she had to deal with nobles.

“Hardly, slave,” Cindy’s mom snorted, “I doubt he spoke of me once, or if he did, it was nothing I’d appreciate. However, that doesn’t matter. The tales he speaks of to humans mean nothing to me.”

It was silent through the night as neither Cindy nor her mom had much to talk about. Only the sound of the night fire could be heard, that and Ashley’s sleeping sounds as she was tuckered out. Cindy couldn’t help but look down at Nancy, who seemed to put some distance between herself and Cindy. It seemed Cindy’s mom’s observation was keen, and Nancy wasn’t gonna put Cindy through more of her mother’s questioning again. It was something that stung Cindy as she wanted Nancy close and comfy, keeping her warm from the elements personally, rather than the bonfire.  It was something Cindy grew to enjoy doing for her sweet Nancy. However, now it was clear she couldn’t allow it,  if her mother suspected something more was going on between the two of them. Was that something that Cindy should be worried about? Why did Cindy care what her mother thought?  Cindy should-

The sound of the ground and twigs breaking brought Cindy’s attention to Hazel approaching the camp. It looked like she tore down a few trees or tree branches as she brought more than enough kindling for the fire before them.

“That took you longer than expected,” Their mother said to Hazel.

“Sorry, mother,” Hazel apologized. “I worked as fast as I could.”

Cindy watched her mom sigh in disapproval as she tossed some chunks of wood into the fire to keep it going. Her tone was to the point and emotionless, “Next time, be faster. If I were freezing, I would have died by now.”

“Sorry, mother,” Hazel responded as she took a seat by the fire. Cindy couldn’t help but recall the times her mother berated her actions. It was looking into a mirror and seeing her past self. Her mother hadn’t changed since they separated. If anything, she was exactly the same, only with another child now. Cindy felt sympathy for the younger girl; being treated this way couldn’t be good for her.  However, Hazel’s actions were anything but regret or sadness. She seemed more interested in pleasing their mother rather than her own self-worth. “Should I go look for some food,” Hazel asked.

“Don’t bother,” Their mother replied. “We should have enough. And if I do get hungry, we have a…” Cindy watched as her mom looked right at Nancy, “Maid, it’s what they call their slaves, to snack on if we need to.”

Cindy felt a fire explode in her stomach at those words. She felt her hands tighten into fists. Cindy opened her mouth to shout at her mom-

Dagon’s voice cut through the camp, stopping Cindy from doing anything she might regret, “Oh… you’re still here, mother, shocker….”

Cindy looked at Dagon and then back to their mother, who gave an unamused look before replying, “Same… thought you and the other little one were eaten. Did you at least bring back something to eat?”

Dagon shook his head as he led Olivia over to Cindy, “Wasn’t it the job of the oldest one supposed to hunt for the food? Wasn’t that what you taught me?” Cindy held Olivia closer to Nancy between her legs as her brother spewed his anger at his mom. “Yet here you are, ironic.”

It was hard for Cindy not to step in. She couldn’t stop herself. This was the mother she thought she lost, the one she grew up with, caring for her and loving her all those years. A mom who sang her songs to sleep and taught her so much. “Dagon…” Cindy spoke up, “Please… It’s mom.”

Dagon cut a look at Cindy, “Yeah, exactly! It’s Mom! Who was dead…SHE SHOULD BE DEAD AND YET SHE’S STILL-”

Cindy heard Olivia make a small noise that Dagon heard. Cindy couldn’t see it, but it looked like she gave Dagon a look or sign or something that paused Dagon’s rant he was about to spill.  He took a deep breath, and Cindy watched in shock as her brother calmed down. Before muttering something and walking toward his daughter. Dagon made his way over to check in on Ashley as she slept. It was something that Dagon did whenever he was with Ashley. Cindy wasn’t sure if it was soothing for him or a nervous habit of a father checking in. Whatever reason Dagon had, he never told Cindy, but it was a habit that Cindy envied the child for.

Seeing as the campfire got quiet again, Cindy could only think of one thing she could say. “Well, I’m sure everyone’s tired.” Cindy proceeded to scoop up Olivia and Nancy in her hands. “I think we're gonna head to bed now.” Cindy proceeded to pull Nancy and Olivia toward her chest as she hugged them close.  It was almost instinctual on Cindy’s part as she didn’t even think about it.

“What are you doing?” Cindy’s mom asked, puzzled at her action.  Those words caught Cindy off guard as she realized how uncharacteristic for a giantess to do such a thing.  Before Cindy could think, she was responding.

“Well, I can’t have Dagon’s mate left out in the open, MOM!” Cindy retorted. “Just because there’s a fire doesn’t mean she’s safe,” Cindy remarked. It was more geared toward Nancy, but Cindy found herself caught in the lie she didn’t want to be in. Cindy felt her lips moving before she could insert Nancy’s name into her speech.  Olivia’s came out before she could stop herself. “If the princess were harmed, it wouldn’t look good for anyone. Anyway,” Cindy spoke, getting up and turning around so her back was to her mom, “I’m going to bed, Night Mom…” Cindy said as she curled up and held both Nancy and Olivia close and snug. Cindy didn’t check in on them as she knew they would be fine.  Instead, she was more afraid of looking at their faces at what she said. Even worse was that she didn’t want them to see her face right now.  It was a contorted look of shame and sadness as she was lying to more than just her mom now. Cindy was now a product of her own lack of forwardness. What was worse was that she knew that it wasn’t just her who was hurting, but Nancy, as Cindy didn’t know what to do to change how things turned out tonight.  Cindy was such a clutz, and now she had to think of a way to make it up to Nancy…

Olivia was dreaming, she knew it was a dream because no matter how warm she thought she was, she was still cold.  It was only when she recalled in her sleep where she was that she slowly woke up. The deep-sounding snoring shaking her walls could only be one person, Cindy. Olivia had gotten used to the giant sister’s sounds she made in her sleep. It was calming but also annoying, like white noise for a sleeper. Olivia slowly got up and looked around in the deep, dark depths of Cindy’s protective cocoon she had made around both Nancy and Olivia. The light that barely made it through Cindy’s encompassing hands was the only light that told Olivia it was morning. She slowly turned in the near midnight darkness and found Nancy was asleep. It had been a long journey for both of them, and she didn’t need to be up right now. Better to leave her in Cindy’s palms.   Olivia knew that both of them would appreciate some time together, especially if they felt anything remotely like how Olivia and Dagon did last night.

Sneaking out of a giantess’s closed hands was easier said than done, as Olivia had to work her butt off to push past those fingers and out of the cage she was stuck in. It wasn’t like she hated being inside, but when she woke up before Cindy’s giant butt, it did make starting the day a little more difficult than it should be. Olivia sucked in her gut and wiggled and squirmed her way out of Cindy’s damned fingers before she was exposed to the outside world. The frigid and chilling air of the early morning made Olivia shudder. The fire was dead, and only a little smidge of smoke was showing from the bonfire.

Olivia did her best to climb out of Olivia’s hands and away from her body. It wasn’t too hard, but it seemed like every foot Olivia made on Cindy’s body threatened to wake the giantess. Lucky for Olivia that Cindy seemed to be a heavy sleeper as she climbed down out of her grasp and out into the open. Olivia looked around and saw that everyone was asleep, except for a couple. Dagon and Ashley were off to the side of the dead fire, playing together. Olivia couldn’t help but smile watching Dagon acting like a father. He was trying to play patty cake with his daughter, but it was more intense than any game a dad and daughter should be. Dagon looked to be doing an intense work out, as he pushed and clapped his massive daughter's hands the best he could. Ashley, on the other hand, only found it as a game.  Something that would be true if the size difference weren’t so intense.  Ashley was already a foot or more taller than Dagon, making each clap and slap something that would make Olivia’s hands regret playing with the child.

Seeing as there was nothing else she could do, Olivia headed over toward Dagon. She slowly approached, listening to Ashley laughing and having the time of her life playing with her dad. “Well, look at you two,” Olivia laughed, bringing Dagon’s attention to her.

“Sorry, did we wake you,” Dagon asked, panting and sounding out of breath.

“AGAIN!” Ashley squealed as she brought her hands up into position to continue their little game.

Dagon had moments before he quickly threw his arms up and blocked the powerful slaps of his daughter's hands as she continued to play with him. Olivia winced as she watched Dagon endure the torment as his daughter had fun playing patty cake. Every pound and push her arms did was intense for any normal-sized person, but Dagon gritted his teeth and pushed a hard smile, “GOOD JOB!” He grunted as his daughter was showing her size and weight. Olivia winced watching Dagon, as she knew that it wouldn’t be long before he physically couldn’t play with his daughter like this.  At the size she was growing, he probably only had a few months before this hand game would injure Dagon in a bad way.

Ashley squealed as they finished another round and went to start another, “AGAIN AGAIN!”

Olivia quickly cut in, “Oh, but sweetie, aren’t you hungry? Should we eat something before we play again?”

Those words were Dagon’s saving grace as Ashley’s head quickly turned toward Olivia. “YES!’ Ashley shouted as he got up. “I want to eat! Let’s eat, Daddy!”

Dagon nodded as he rolled his sore shoulders and arms as he got up from his sitting position, “Yes,yes, sure, let’s see what we have…”

Olivia watched Dagon turn toward her and mouthed, “THANK YOU SO MUCH!”

Smiling, Olivia nodded.  It was the least she could do for him. Olivia followed after Dagon, as he walked away with Ashley to find out what kind of food they had. Olivia watched as Dagon acted like an amazing father, something she couldn’t say for most parents. Olivia knew dozens of caretakers and others who watched after children of Ashley’s age, but she was sure none of them could do what Dagon was doing. The size difference was enough to scare many off the fact that Dagon kept up with his daughter, told her how well of a dad Dagon was right now. Olivia felt guilty as she wanted something similar to that with Dagon. She had grown accustomed to Melody and Ashley in Dagon’s life, but now… she wanted something of their own to bond with. Olivia felt guilty thinking about it, but she couldn’t stop herself as she desperately wanted Dagon and her to share a child of their own…

The feeling only grew as she watched Dagon and Ashley start to explore the campsite together, looking for food. Olivia watched as Dagon showed Ashley around, not just looking for food but also teaching her a few things along the way. Olivia wanted to be like that, however, she didn’t know how to interact with Ashley and if it was okay without Melody around. At the end of the day, Ashley wasn’t her child, so did she have any right trying to raise her? Olivia fought back the contemplation she had over the childish giantess.

It didn’t take long before Dagon found some fresh food, which Olivia was sure belonged to Hazel and Dagon’s mom, from the other day. However Dagon didn’t seem to give a damn as he started to prep some food for Ashley. The larger game that was ready to cook was soon set over the nearly dead fire. Olivia headed over to Dagon, as Ashley seemed delighted at the sight of food cooking, “You sure this is a good idea? Your mom won't be angry about this?”

Dagon rolled his eyes as he gave his sleeping mom a very unpleasant look, “Like I care. If she makes a big deal about it, I’ll just go get something to replace it.”

Olivia didn’t comment as she sat closer to Dagon as he slowly smoked the meat by the still-warm embers from last night. “How’d you sleep,” Olivia asked Dagon.

He chuckled, “Sleep? I wish.”

Olivia was quiet for a few smoldering moments before she asked softly, “Still thinking about your mom?”

Dagon was silent as he prepared Ashley’s food a little longer. When he took it off the heat and let it cool, he finally answered, “Yeah, but it wasn’t just her. I can’t help thinking about where Melody is. She wouldn’t have left Ashley unless she had to.”

The concern in Dagon’s voice was enough for Olivia to know he was truly worried. Dagon didn’t tend to be worried unless it was really important, or a drastic situation. This seemed like one . Olivia nodded as she tried to think of what to say. “Well, I’m sure Hazel, when she wakes up, could show us where she found Ashley. Then we should be able to track down Melody, I mean, if you can.”

Olivia heard Dagon laugh for the first time since she arrived here, “If I can? Is that a challenge,” He asked, sounding pleased with the task that Olivia had bestowed on him. “Of course, I can find her. I mean that was the whole reason I came here.” Dagon continued to look smug as he went on, “I’ll have you know I’m a master tracker, I can track anything, anywhere, anytime.”

The sudden addition of Cindy’s snort cut through the conversation. A sleepy Cindy mocked Dagon, “Master tracker… more like master slacker…”

Olivia couldn’t help but smile at the comment, but Dagon didn’t seem ot enjoy the remark, “Oh sure, make fun of me, but what about that time you lost your blanket? Who found it, and where?”

Cindy slowly sat up, giving Dagon the usual glare, “I was like what, five? How was I supposed to know where I left it?”

Dagon seemed to be gloating, “Pretty sure it was more recent than that.  Beside I still found it, so don’t act like that wasn’t something impressive.”

Olivia could never get enough of the two of them bickering. It almost made Olivia jealous that she was an only child. To have someone to banter and go back and forth with was a dream of hers for the longest time. However, it wasn’t easy finding someone who treated her like a normal person to talk with. Dagon was one of the only ones who didn’t see her for the title she had. It was a sense of relief to be more than her father’s daughter and the next heir. As much as Olivia appreciated Nancy, it was sometimes upsetting that she never treated her more than the royalty she was.

Both Dagon and Cindy were still going back and forth as Ashley continued to eat. Olivia noticed Nancy slowly slipping out of Cindy’s open palm and joining her. Olivia was growing accustomed to everyone’s antics or mannerisms around her right now, it was like they were all a family. Olivia felt much better as she was with Dagon and the others. Still smiling at the warm feeling, Nancy proceeded to do her maidly duties by asking Olivia if she wanted something to eat.

Before Olivia could reply, everything seemed to stop when a sudden older Giantess' voice brought Olivia’s attention to her. “I see you two are still as childish as ever. So much for growing up,” Olivia turned around to see that Dagon’s mother was waking up.

Dagon was the first to fire back with, “This is a family conversation, you know, for FAMILY.”

“Dagon,” Cindy gasped. “Mom’s family too-”

Dagon’s mom scoffed, “Family? That’s so human. I see you really did poison your sister with such thoughts.”

Olivia wasn’t sure who was more hurt from that statement. Dagon, who looked guilty at those words, or Cindy, who looked torn at the possible truth behind them. Olivia wasn’t sure exactly how deep those words dug in, but she could only watch as Dagon did the only thing he knew how to do, which was be aggressive toward his mom.

“Poisoned? Wow, that’s rich coming from you.” Dagon shook his head at the comment, “You abandoned me, and then you faked your own death with Cindy. You threw us away when you got tired or gave up or whatever the actually reason, which I could give a damn which ever it is. You don’t know what family is, the stuff that Cindy and I have done and gone through. Just because it’s human doesn’t mean it’s not necessary or helpful. If there is one thing that I’ll teach my daughter, that it doesn’t matter what happens, I will always be there for her! So don’t spread your fucking toxic shit, about it being a weakness for looking for help or asking others.” Olivia felt herself smile at how protective Dagon was with his built family. The look he gave Cindy, Ashley, Nancy, and finally Olivia… it warmed her heart to see that she was grouped together with everyone else. “My family is here, and when they need my help, I won't play dead like you and actually make sure they get the help they need.”

Everyone was quiet, but the most disturbing thing was how casually and unprovoked Dagon’s mom was after his speech. “If you say so. I don’t regret anything I did,” Olivia watched the older giantess casually roll over and go back to sleep.

“Of course you don’t,” Dagon muttered. Olivia could see the anger in him, as he kept his hands clenched in rage. Or maybe it was more of disappointment that his mom still turned him away after everything he spilled to her. It had been years, and here she was with him, and she couldn’t care less. Olivia just didn’t understand. Was this how all giantess mothers acted toward their children?

Olivia walked up to Dagon and took one of his hands, “It’s okay…” she told him.  Dagon seemed to calm down at her words, but the look in his eyes told Olivia that he was taking this harder than she thought he could. “Why don’t we take a walk?”

Dagon slowly shook his head, “No… I want to,” He told Olivia, “But I need to find Melody. I don’t know how long Ashley will be fine without her mom. Also, with how crazy everyone in the town is, I don’t like knowing she’s out there by herself.  Besides, the sooner we find her, the sooner we can all get out of her and away from THIS,” Dagon shot a look at his uncaring mother, “Place.”

Olivia tried to make things lighter than they were, so she tried to make a joke, “I’m sure with Melody at her size, is fine,” Olivia chuckled… It wasn’t till she realized her joke fell flat and Dagon looked concerned. “Oh… no, is it that bad?”

Dagon slowly nodded his head, “Something is off about them. I don’t know what, but… Yeah, she could be in actual danger.” Olivia hadn’t seen Dagon this worried in a while; the last time was when he was transporting her to Haven.

“Okay, I got it. What do you need,” Olivia asked, sounding determined to help.

Dagon gave an arched eyebrow before smiling. Something that didn’t bode well with Olivia, as she knew there was a mocking comment coming up. “I need you… to stay with Ashley. There's no way I'm bringing her with me. And there's no way I'm trusting…” Dagon’s eyes darted to his mother, who seemed to be back asleep. “HER,” Dagon nearly hissed, “With Ashley.”

Olivia nodded, “So keep Ashley happy and distracted, how hard can that be?”

Dagon snorted at Olivia’s optimistic view on the task.  It took him a moment before sobering up, “Oh, yeah, very simple… taking care of a tiny giantess is so easy… You got this.”

Olivia gasped at the mocking tone, “What? You think I can’t take care of a child? Your child, to be exact?”

Dagon shook his head, “No, I’m just saying it’s not that easy to take care of-”

Olivia shoved one of her arms into Dagon’s shoulder to shut him up, “I… GOT… THIS!” Olivia sternly said. Dagon seemed shocked at Olivia’s confidence but nodded.

“You got this,” Dagon repeated. “Thanks… and I love you.”

Olivia couldn’t help but blush at those words. She might have heard it a million times by now, but Dagon always seemed to put a pretty bow on it that made her lose her mind. “I love you too,” Olivia leaned in and gave him a quick kiss before pulling back, “Now go find Melody so we can get out of here. It’s so freaking cold, I want to go home and warm up by the hearth…with you.”

“Of course,” Dagon chuckled as he gave Olivia a hug goodbye, “I’ll be back before you, now it. And then we can leave.”

Olivia nodded as she watched Dagon walk toward Hazel. Olivia couldn’t hear the conversation, but it was clear that she didn’t want to leave. However, with one lazy hand wave and muttered words from Dagon’s mom, Hazel was soon reassigned to helping her brother. Olivia watched as Hazel and Dagon left, Dagon giving her one last look and a goofy send-off kiss that she rolled her eyes at. It didn’t take long before Dagon was gone.

Now it was just Olivia, Cindy, Nancy, Ashley, and Cindy’s mom. All of them quietly around the dead morning remains of last night's fire. Something that felt odd. Minutes passed, if not longer, before Nancy broke the silence. “Are you warm enough, your majesty?”

“I’m fine, thank you,” Olivia said as she was a little chilly, but nothing to worry about.

Ashley spoke next, “Where is Daddy?”

“OH,” Olivia spoke, reaching closer to the giant child, “He’s looking for your mommy. He’ll be back soon,” Olivia nodded and smiled, trying to reassure the giant-sized child.

“Oh…” Ashley replied, looking disappointed. “I wanted to play more with daddy.”

“Uh…” Olivia looked around and slowly said some words she might regret, “Well, what about you play with me? What do you want to play?”

Before Olivia could take those words back, Cindy looked like she was stung by a bee as she jumped, startled.  Olivia turned to a concerned and worried looking Cindy as Ashley soon blurted out excitedly, “I WANT TO PLAY TAG!”

“Oh, tag?  Sure, that sounds like fun,” Olivia said, confused at Cindy’s troubled look.

Before Olivia could ask what was wrong, Ashley’s hand, almost as large as her forearm, grabbed her and tugged with a force that Olivia wasn’t ready for.  “I’LL BE IT!”  Ashley exclaimed as she started to drag Olivia with her. Olivia was shocked at the strength that Ashley had as she pulled Olivia after her.

“Remember, Ashley,” Cindy called out as they were leaving, “Be gentle, like with daddy!”

“I will,” Ashley giggled, not letting up with her grip on Olivia.

It wasn’t till now that Olivia felt like this might have been a mistake.  But that was okay, she just had to entertain this large child till Dagon got back.

Which was how long again?
