Amber
walked into the small coffee shop, as she started to get ready for
the morning rush. There was a lot for her to do this morning. She
needed to get the machines working, set up the snacks and other
buyables near the registers. Clean up the floor and tables for those
wanting to sit down and have their drinks. Amber held back a yawn as
the early freaking hours she was working, these shifts were so
draining for her. Showing up before six AM was a killer, and having
to run around making sure things were in tip top shape for their
customers was even worse. Amber hated having to do this job with so
much of her being. Hell she would have quit months ago, but that was
before she met … HER.
Amber
was feeling excited already as she moved chairs and table around
thinking of the gorgeous supple woman that caught her eye ages ago.
Amber hadn’t caught her name, not yet. The mysterious woman showed
up at nine thirty on the dot, asking for the simple boba tea and
sometimes a fresh biscuit. The months that Amber worked here, she
knew this woman’s schedule and orders like the back of her hand.
Amber lived to see her beautiful goddess every morning… well every
morning Monday through Friday. Amber learned quickly she didn’t
work weekends, so she cut those days from her schedule.
Without
working weekends that left Amber with just the weekdays to work.
Although those were rough days, it was totally worth it to see her
mysterious woman. Amber smiled as she lifted up a chair and placed it
on the top of a table so she could sweep and mop the floor under it.
The
store would open in an hour and Amber had a million and one things to
do before then. Most people would feel overwhelmed, but not Amber.
She was calm and cool. Thinking of those purple locks that flowed
from her crushes’ head, helped her focus on her work as she
daydreamed of touching them. Amber wondered what the mysterious
woman’s smell would be like, as she mopped the floor. Amber
imagined the sound of the woman’s voice as they spent a night
talking and sharing thoughts and dreams together…
Amber
was lost in Lala land, as she day dreamed all morning about her
perfect girl. The idea of her asking Amber out for a meal or just a
cup of coffee was bliss to her. Amber wasn’t sure if she would be
able to hold herself back if that question came up one of these days.
“Do
you want to go out for a thing…”
Those
words would make Amber’s whole week!
Blushing
at the thought, Amber headed back to the counter and started to prep
the machines to make everyone's morning drinks. Amber put everything
she needed inside the device. Coffee, tea, cream, milk, water, and
even the special syrup for the extra flavor. Amber was all prepared
for the morning rush to come before her.
Amber
had barely flipped the sign from 'CLOSED’ to “OPEN” and already
had a few people coming inside to place an order.
Amber
smiled as she spoke, “Welcome to Warm Beans, can I take your
order?”
The
first customer called for some obscure random drink that would have
sounded like gibberish to most and if it was Amber’s first day she
would have been panicking and freaking out. Luckily she’s been
working here for a while and knew what an “orange mocha frappuccino
” was. Creating the first order of the morning, Amber quickly went
to work as she glanced up at the clock. It would only be a few hours
till she saw her beautiful flower…
Charlie
was feeling less than motivated as he walked to his office job. The
thought of having to do his job for another week before he could
clock out for the weekend was horrible. The constant nine to five job
was wearing him thin, and it didn't help that this weekend, he
partied so hard he hardly slept. So this morning was especially slow
and grueling for Charlie. His head was foggy and heavy and his limbs
were weak. He had no energy at all to get going, and he hadn’t even
punched in for his sift at the office. Today was gonna suck so hard.
Stumbling
a little on the curb, Charlie regained his footing before he bumped
into someone else and made his day even worse.
“Come
on,” Charlie muttered to himself. He had to wake his ass up.
Looking
at his watch, Charlie saw he was at least making some good time. He
would be getting to the office a little early and figured he had some
time for a quick detour. Deciding to head to the nearest coffee store
for a drink should help him. Anything to pick up his mood and body.
It would at least get the morning going and hopefully push him into
the afternoon.
Charlie
saw a nice looking cafe just on the corner and decided to head in.
The sign already saying open, Charlie decided to head into Warm
Beans. The moment he stepped in he was hit by the fresh smelling
scent of coffee, tea, and other drinks. It was nice, however the line
wasn’t. He just stepped into the store and he nearly bumped into
someone.
“Shit…”
Charlie groaned as he saw the long line and the one and only brasita
working the counter. She was vigorously taking orders and making
drinks, a one man army behind the counter doing five things at once.
Charlie was astounded by her skills at multitasking. Still Charlie
wasn’t sure if he wanted to wait the ten or fifteen minutes it
would be to pick up a single coffee. Looking at the line and back
outside, Charlie was about to step out of line, when he saw the
amazing barista pump out two orders at once.
The
line moved forward faster than Charlie thought. Seeing as it might
not take as long as he thought, Charlie decided to stay in line.
Besides it smelled like some kick ass coffee, how could he pass it
up? Seeing as he could die for a cup of coffee, Charlie hunkered
down. Not minding the line, Charlie waited till it was his turn for
his order.
Amber
was busting her ass off.
She
really wished it wasn’t just her taking orders, making them, and
doing everything by herself this morning. Sadly it wasn’t up to her
how many people were working today. Instead she was stuck here going
through a nightmarish morning, just to supply these people with their
morning drinks. Yet management either couldn’t find anyone or
thought she was enough to hold down the fort by herself. Something
that really didn’t sit well with her as she handed out yet another
drink and saw the endless line leading to the front of the store.
Amber took a second to groan at the customers lining up to place
their morning orders.
Amber
couldn’t help but look at the clock.
Her
heart stopped as she saw the time. It was two minutes till nine
thirty! SHE was gonna be here any minute! Amber felt her heart
flutter and race as she looked around and saw how many people were
waiting in line. It was insane! There was no way that SHE would wait
in such a long line. Amber felt her nerves on edge as she tried to
think of what to do. If SHE showed up and walked out due to the wait
it would break Amber’s heart. What if she never came back?!
Amber
fidgeted at the counter as she tried to think of what to do. Should
she start sending people away or like tell them she’s closing up
now? What if she-
“HEY
MISS,” the customer at the counter called out. “Are you
listening?”
Amber
shook her head as she cleared herself up and got into business mode,
“Uh, what? Sorry.”
“I
said I’d like a triple shot espresso ready to go and two biscuits.”
The man ordered with a little bite in his voice.
Amber
didn’t know why but that tone in his voice set something inside her
in motion. She had been working hard, and everyone before him was
nice, but this just seemed to set something off. She felt peeved as
she looked at the man who was expecting her to say YES SIR, like it
was her duty to complete his request.. Something that rubbed her the
wrong way. “Right, sorry give me a moment,” Amber said as she
went back to work. She was about to start the order when the man
said, “oh and make it snappy I got to get to the office soon.”
Those
words snapped something in her as she looked back at the man with a
look of annoyance and anger as he still didn’t seem content with
how fast she was going. Amber felt a fire burning in her as she felt
that her whole world started to shake at the man's comments. It
wasn’t like she was trying to be freaking slow, she was working her
ass off all morning and now she had to deal with this guy. Worse, she
was almost positive she was gonna miss the only good thing about this
job in about thirty seconds!
Amber
felt a meltdown coming on and she just wanted to scream. Standing
there with the half finished drink in one hand and the customer still
asking her to hurry up, she closed her eyes and let out a deep sigh
that could be heard throughout the whole coffee shop. Tossing the
contents of the cup into the sink, she took another deep sigh. Not
registering anything that was happening behind her, Amber closed her
eyes and channeled her inner peace. A few more calming breaths and
she turned around with a bright smile on her face.
The
cafe was empty now. Not a soul was in line, no customers sitting at a
table, it was completely empty like they weren’t even open. Silence
filled the room and Amber felt herself starting to relax. No upset
customers, no fast pace orders to complete, just a serine silence
that settled in around her.
No
sooner did Amber start to relax, did the most gorgeous woman on the
planet open the door and walk into the coffee shop. With a warm
blush, Amber greeted her, “Welcome to Warm Beans, can I take your
order?”
Rose
paused mid step as she walked into the empty store. “Oh, sorry I
thought you were open…” Rose said seeing how deserted the usually
busy store was.
“WE
ARE,” The attendant said quickly. “We, uh, well you just missed
the rush,” She let out a light laugh. “Did you want something to
drink? I can make it for you in a flash.”
Rose
felt a slight unease in the air at how unnervingly empty the store
was but the desire for a drink and to move her morning along shoved
that feeling away, “Sure.” Rose walked up to the counter and
smiled at the barista, “I’ll take a-”
“Boba
Chatime tea,” The barista quickly said, smiling warmly at Rose,
“right?”
Rose
frowned at the correct order, “Uh, yeah…”
Suddenly
the woman behind the counter blushed “Sorry sorry… just, I’ve
taken your order a few times so I kind of … know it already by
heart…”
It
was Rose’s turn to look embarrassed, “Really? Oh … Oh I’m
sorry I didn’t recognize-”
“It’s
okay,” she quickly responded as she waved off Rose’s worries.
“No
it’s just, the bun,” Rose pointed out the hair style, “It threw
me off, I don’t think I’ve seen you with it tied up like that,
right?”
The
barista paused as she blushed deeper, “Well, no, I thought I’d
try something new…”
“Well
I think it looks good on you,” Rose commented smiling.
At
those words the barista paused and touched her hair, “You think
so?”
Rose
nodded as she smiled at the woman. It was silent between the two for
a moment before the Barista quickly let out a squeak before she
realized she wasn’t moving. Rose smiled harder as she watched the
woman quickly hustle behind the counter and started to make her drink
for her. It was cute watching her barista working on her drink,
shuffling around and grabbing things to mix together. Something about
how she made it look easy but complex to do, it was fascinating to
Rose. It wasn’t till Rose was being handed the drink that she was
pulled out of her own little world, “Oh thanks sweetheart.”
The
barista blushed deeper, “You can just call me Amber,” She
muttered before adding, “or sweetheart, if you want…”
“Aren’t
you just adorable,” Rose laughed, “Well… Sweetheart,” Rose
went on watching the girl nearly blow up from her compliment, “How
much is it for the drink?”
“Oh,
oh no it’s fine, it’s on the house,” Amber told Rose.
Rose
laughed while digging around for her card, “Funny, no seriously how
much is it?”
Amber
simply retorted, still blushing like a tomato, “I’m serious it’s
on me.”
Rose
lifted an eyebrow at the young girl's words, “Mhmmm… right…
Sure it is.”
Amber
stood there feeling all her blood and nerves rushing around her body
as Rose kept digging around in her purse for something. Just as Amber
was about to tell her how she felt, or at least to let her cover the
drink, she flipped out a card and held it out. Amber slowly took the
white card and saw Rose’s full name and number on the card. It was
her contact info.
Looking
back at Rose, Amber watched her smile the nicest look Amber had ever
seen as she said, “Well, sounds like I should repay you with
something… How about we go out, and I buy you a drink or whatever
some time?”
Amber
stood there as her legs turned to jelly and her gut started to do
backflips. “Wh-what?”
Rose
gave her a wink, “Give me a call sometime sweetheart.”
Amber
watched as Rose walked out of the cafe with a strut that made Amber’s
legs tremble. She nearly dropped the calling card in her hands as she
continued to watch her sexy flower flaunt her way off and down the
sidewalk. Amber couldn’t help but shiver at how Rose said that last
sweetheart.
“Oh
my god,” Amber whimpered as she closed her eyes, enjoying the best
day of her life all over again. It was only the sound of the door
opening and another customer coming in to ruin her moment. She didn’t
even wait for them to say anything as she opened her eyes and saw the
empty room again. Looking down on the counter she saw the single
doughnut sitting on the counter that was clearly not there before.
Smiling Amber looked at the glazed ring, “Sorry buddy, you picked,
like, the worst time to come in for a drink.” Not wasting any time,
Amber picked up the protesting and screaming snack and bit into it.
The phantom confused screams were ignored as Amber munched on the
treat in her hands, wondering where she and Rose should go. It had to
be the perfect place for their first real date….
Charlie
had no idea what the hell was going on.
One
second he walked into a coffee shop for some coffee and the next he
was in a weird chamber, piled onto what he could only assume were a
bunch of other complaining and protesting people. Charlie tried to
push the nearest person away from him for some room, but he found he
couldn’t move any of his limbs. It was confusing and frightening to
find that he couldn’t move his body, he was only able to stay
still, laying on top of some random stranger he never knew. Unable to
budge from his spot, Charlie did the only thing he could, he looked
around. Charlie glanced around to see he was in some kind of field of
bumpy brown looking boulders all over the place. Strange enough was
that the sky and horizon looked a little murky and weird, as if there
was a filter or barrier in the way. It made focusing past the weird
hue and beyond almost impossible for Charlie to do.
Trying
to ignore all the cries and unrecognizable words filtering through
Charlie’s hearing, he kept trying to look beyond those opaque
walls. It was so hard to make things out, but Charlie swore he saw
some movement. It was like an entire land mass was shifting, but that
was impossible. There couldn’t be anything that big that moves.
No
sooner had that thought came across Charlie's mind did he feel
something collide with that large barrier causing Charlie's whole
world to shake. The shouting around Charlie increased as suddenly
things were moving and Charlie and everyone else was being moved
inside this weird space. It wasn’t till Charlie saw the sky
starting to slide away that he knew something bad was coming. As soon
as the murky wall vanished it was replaced by an enormous black
nozzle looking object. Charlie was stunned at the massive moon-like
object hovering above. Yet what happened next was unexpected.
One
moment it was mostly silent, the next Charlie watched as a grayish
brown fluid came pouring out of the massive object above. The
downpour of fluids came crashing downward, like an enormous river dam
that just broke. Screams filled the air as the liquid crashed down
and started to quickly flood the area.
It
was now that more of Charlie’s puzzling questions came clear. The
first was where they were. As the liquid spread out and flooded the
space everyone was in, the curved walls kept the liquid trapped with
everyone. It reminded Charlie of a certain kind of cup-like shape. It
wasn’t till the liquid started to build up as gallons of sweet
smelling sauce swarmed everyone, that Charlie realized that the smell
and taste was similar to a certain kind of tea or drink. Finally the
last little bit of knowledge, and the most terrifying and shocking
was found out as Charlie and countless others were flung and tossed
around in the torrent of tea filling up the cup.
Charlie
was dangling in the tea, like some kind of sky diver descending
slowly. However as he started to come down from the upper levels of
this imprisoned space, it was then that he saw where all the voices
were coming from. Small black orbs littering the ground where the
noises of people complaining and pleading for help. It wasn’t till
Charlie looked off to the opaque wall near him and saw a black ball
slowly floating downward toward the bottom of the flooded room. The
small descending dot seemed to be following Charlie as he floated
downward. It took him a while but by the time Charlie landed on a
small mass of people, he knew he wasn’t a person anymore. The many
orbs that had voices coming from them, told Charlie that those were
people too, or were people. Now it seemed Charlie and everyone else
was just some kind of ingredient to this drink.
The
flowing liquid soon stopped, as Charlie now was looking through
brownish murky waters filling the empty space from before. It made
looking skyward even harder than before, unable to see the ceiling.
Still Charlie felt himself slowly settling downward with a few others
still freaking out over what had happened. Soon a mighty pillar came
descending through the liquid as it made its way through the waters
and toward the bottom of their container.
The
object was massive, easily larger than any building Charlie had seen,
and its width was startlingly massive as it passed by. The towering
pillar stayed firmly where it was unmoving and non-interacting with
everyone. Charlie heard muffled words outside of the barrier keeping
everything entrapped. Some muffled giggles and noises, sounds of
happy people chattering. It wasn’t till now that Charlie figured he
should try calling for help with those human like voices nearby.
“HEY!
HEY!! CAN YOU HEAR ME?!?!” He screamed trying to project his voice
through the fluid and the walls beyond that. There was no response
except more talking and laughing outside those walls. Charlie was
gonna call out one more time when everything swayed. Charlie felt
himself shift and started to float around in the fluid as he and a
few others started to drift upward from the momentum in the ocean of
tea. Charlie was still swaying around when he felt something tugging
the current downward. Suddenly there were dozens of screams and cries
as everything was being sucked up toward the pillar at the bottom of
the liquid. Charlie was being slowly pulled toward the epicenter of
this vacuum. Suddenly a high pitch scream flew past Charlie as one of
the other spheres was being slurped up the long straw. The sounds of
the high pitch scream grew louder before it passed Charlie and was
dragged off into the heavens where the noise grew quieter till it was
silent. The current stop and Charlie was left hanging in the air as
he slowly started to float back downward.
“What
was that?!” Someone screamed nearby.
“Oh
God, Sarah? SARAH?!” another voice cried out.
“What
is going on?! What happened?!” another panicked voice cried out in
horror.
Charlie
wanted to tell everyone they were somehow in a drink, as some kind of
spice or mocha ball or something… but would that help anyone? How
would that change the situation? Instead he remained silent as he
listened to the countless voices crying and complaining about the
situation. All of them were worried and scared.
Then
there was another vortex of swirling fluids and torrents that dragged
everyone toward the epicenter of the suction.. Screams filled the
whole space as the flow of tea dragged countless people toward the
pillars’ opening and soon launched up the long tube. It was
becoming more clear what was going on to everyone inside the cup,
someone was sucking on that pillar, or straw, and dragging helpless
people up the long tube to their possible doom.
The
current of the vacuum didn’t last long, just for a few seconds,
just enough to pull a handful of terrified people up and away. The
current was dying down and Charlie was no longer being pulled toward
the straw stuck in the cup. Looking upward, Charlie noticed how much
space was between the liquid above and the empty air between the
waters and the sky. It seemed whoever was drinking this concoction
was thirsty as more than half the contents was gone.
Charlie
observed the barriers of plastic that encircled him and how enormous
the smudged looking object wrapped around it were. Charlie could only
guess they were fingers, but they were massive compared to his body.
If there was any doubt of where he was with the others this confirmed
it. That along with the constant swishing and swaying that went
through the ocean of tea made it clear they were moving with someone.
Charlie could only assume it was someone walking to work or
someplace. The constant swaying felt like he was in the sea or some
large body of water as waves and currents of the liquid moved him
around. Constantly toppling over someone else, Charlie felt himself
drifting around the concoction of tea.
Just
as Charlie was getting used to drifting around in the flurry of
fluid, a sudden sucking sensation hit him as the current turned into
that vacuum once again as the cries for help grew louder. Charlie was
close enough to the straw to hear the panicked voices of people
shooting up the straw at an alarming speed. Each cry rocketed up the
tube like a rocket ship taking off, and Charlie could do nothing but
notice how close he was getting to the large opening pulling everyone
in. Between him and the remaining others, there was only so much tea
to float in, and the line of tea was dropping fast. Whoever was
drinking this cup of tea, was parched or needed the energy boost
badly.
As
Charlie desperately looked for a solution or a way to escape before
the next suction, Charlie slowly realized it didn’t matter. Him and
everyone else was gonna be eaten, and if not, would it be any better
for the alternative? Whoever was drinking this tea would finish it
all or chuck the last bit into the trash. Charlie didn’t know which
fate was worse. What was even more horrifying was that he had no
choice in what happened to himself. He couldn’t even swim around in
the fluid he was submerged in. He was utterly helpless to his fate.
Dreading
what would happen, Charlie soon felt the familiar pulling sensation.
More shouts of alarm and fear filled the tea mixture as more squishy
balls of Boba flew up the straw and into the hungry awaiting maw of
their consumer. As Charlie felt himself being pulled toward the
ominous object that looked more like a black hole than an opening to
a straw, Charlie's fear of being consumed was acting up. Knowing
there was nothing he could do, gave him the slightest sense of ease
in the situation.
That
ease soon vanished when Charlie finally crossed the threshold and was
yanked upward the large tube with a few others. It was like taking a
ride on one of those Drop Towers, but so much worse. Flying upward in
the fluid stream was like being launched from a catapult. Charlie
could feel his body shake and shiver from the violent force that
yanked on him. As long as it felt going upwards, it didn’t last
more than a few seconds. One moment Charlie was in a tight tube with
liquid pushing in on him, the next he was launched upward into a
large chamber full of tea and other Boba people. Charlie could feel
more pressure building up as more liquid filled this open space, the
sound of sucking filled the remaining air that was trapped in here
with him.
After
a few moments the sound stopped and there wasn’t any more pressure
building up. Charlie was confused for just a second before he felt a
rushing sensation and the chamber pressed in on itself and half the
contents vanished as several cries were heard only to be drowned out
by a mighty gulping sound. Charlie listened to the massive beast
swallow half of them. Charlie felt the warm air filling part of the
mouth he was sitting in. It would only be a few more moments before
Charlie and everyone else inside the mouth would follow the last gulp
and go down to where all food and drinks end up.
Charlie
hardly had time to prepare himself as sure enough, everything was
soon pushed together and shoved down into the back of the throat.
Charlie wished he knew who was sending him to his doom, or at least
if they knew about them. Sadly, Charlie wouldn't get any answers as
he and the rest of the unwilling people were pulled down with a
mighty swallow. Charlie was pushed up against someone as they were
nearly mashed into one as the pressure was immense. The ball of tea
and Boba balls were dragged and pulled downward in a might mass of
slurry.
Finally
after a very tight trip, Charlie was released out into a massive
opening. The sounds of his fellow people screaming and begging for
help filled the chamber as he entered the noisy room. The heat was
atrocious, as was the heavy smell. The scent of the tea he had been
swimming in was in the air, along with a stomach smell. Ironically,
Charlie couldn't smell any food, so whoever just ate them had to have
skipped breakfast, or they already digested it before drinking it.
None of that did Charlie any good as he sat in the warm ocean of
mixed contents. The cries of people filling the room grew louder and
harsher. It wasn’t till Charlie heard the monstrous roar and growl
around him, that everyone grew quite in fear. Soon things started to
swish and sway harsher as the grumbling and groaning increased. The
stomach was acting up. Maybe it was because it was the tea, or the
emptiness, or their consumer was being active right now. Whatever it
was, digestion was kicking in. Charlie was dunked and dragged around
in the torturous turmoil, the soupy stomach slush soon became a
raging storm.
It
wouldn’t be long before he ended up like any other morning meal. He
just wished he knew who he was inside of.
As
if to answer his question he heard the most unladylike burp shake his
tomb. Charlie couldn’t help but cures and swear at his fate of
being digested by some fucking man…
Rose
patted her belly as she sat back in her office chair and enjoyed the
nice loud burp she expelled. Nothing like a nice morning tea to start
the day. Sighing at the filled feeling of her belly having something
to work on, Rose decided to get ready for the day. Tossing the nearly
empty cup into her trash bin, she didn’t bother drinking the
remaining tea and Boba balls in it. Too much of that stuff would add
a little extra to her figure, and not in the good way.
Rose
let out another softer burp as she could already feel her belly
breaking all that sugar and sweets down. Rose made a mental note to
work out a little extra tonight when she hit the gym, just to burn
off the extra calories she consumed this morning. In fact, Rose would
make sure to burn more calories, so she could go back to that sexy
Brista, Amber, who makes a damn good Boba Tea.
Smiling,
Rose licked her lips at the thought of such a sugary treat to enjoy
early in the morning… oh and the tea too.
