Even though I didn't prefer the ending, you can't deny that this story is Ace.

I like how she was helpful at first, but eventually changed her mind to use him how she saw fit.  I think even if sshe was sober, the same thoughts would have popped in her head and if not, a friend could have gave her the smallest push to keep him as a servant and she easily see the benefits.
