This story could be construed as micro or mega, depending on the perspective.  And though I'm not a huge fan of goth, you really got my attention with this one.  A+.

I'd have to say, you did a good job on the details, but the ending made it go to waste. Lengthen the story, drag it out or remove a lot of the details to a more-than-basic outline
