It sounds to me like Jenna is the (stereo)typical rich-bitch. The type who become addicted to always being the literal center of attention. Especially, from horny fawning boys! Hence, their almost sociopathic resentment at one particular guy finally being immune to their "charms."

Based on last chapter I always had little doubt that I would dislike Jenna. Maybe she's been screwed over by men in the past and she's taking it out on poor Kai, but whatever the reason, her attitude makes my blood boil.
