Great chapter! I would love to see you continue writing stories from this world. To offer up a theory for the other reviewer in regards to the lack of suspense. Yes, we know the outcome, but not was involved in the journey nor the length of time to get there.
By the beginning of the main story we know that some time had gone by. Elevation was a new phenomonom here, but was normal in the future. To the point where being a normal was strange and started to face discrimination and abuse, as in Greg's job and mugging. The main thing to note in this story is that they were on the verge of moving in together, but hadn't by the start of the main story. By then SHE had moved into her OWN place. So I can suppose that they had some troubles and an adjustment period. I can guess that because they were close friends for years before they became lovers is what probably saved and strengthened their future relationship.

Any chance you'll make that character bio sheet? Because I think I forgot who Wally is. There are a lot of characters, and I'm not that good at remembering. XP But I'm interesting in what's going to happen next time.

Wally is Walter Ramona and Mary's older brother. I referred to him as Wally tp prevent confusion between him and the Walter's family where Tyler comes from. Just wait till I introduce Sandra Walters just to make it more confusing..just joking I would never do that.
As for character bios well I guess I can try a preview of what I've been working on.
