i actually really enjoyed this chapter and couldn't tell that this was outside your comfort zone. the only thing which portryed any sign of this being a first attempt was maybe the size of the chapter, as it is small, but all in all it was amazing. i still think your ability to creatively describe a situation and your humerous yet informative dialogue is still your strongest points. i was kind of hoping that derrick would join the group and become a "good guy" even if the protagonist didn't like him but i guess you decided to send him on a vacation, uh? =) but yeah, great dialogue, great writing and great chapter once again.
Author's Response: Thank you very much. The idea for this story had actually come from a fantasy dream like this scene I immediately knew I wanted to write a story about it. But how to logically fit it and later the other fantasies I had had while brainstorming into one contigous plotline? Thus Sizer High was born. However, right as I was about to upload this I thought to myself "Oh god. This is my first insertion scene. This is the origin thread. What if I screwed up horribly?" Your praise and that of others I will confess wiped quite a few beads of sweat from my brow. You are always a welcome sight on my review page and I hope you continue to add your feedback for later chapters. This may have been the origin thread, but that most certainely does not meen you've seen the last of Racheal and the as-of-yet unnamed protagonist. Chapter 5 is coming VERY soon!
