That was a nice little twist there at the end. I feel like I should have seen it coming, but I didn't even think about Kyle coming down with the virus too.

Of course, I think that adds some significant weight to Will's question of what all of this means for the three of them going forward. Are Will and Kyle pretty much just going to switch places during Kyle's time with the virus? Would it be weird or even appropriate for Will to be the new benefactor of Sofia's sexual buildup at shrinking someone, this time her actual boyfriend? Will has been in her vagina, but does that mean normal-sized sex between them is cool now? Would Kyle go along with that, and even if he did, what kind of effect would it have on his mental health to see his girlfriend and best friend doing that, even if he's involved too?

And most importantly, what exactly does Sofia have in mind for those weeks when both Will and Kyle are tiny?

You set up a pretty unique dynamic between these three character, which really made me stop and think about these questions after finishing the story. This was really just a romp kind of story without much plot, but you still managed to build these characters up in such a way that the reader almost has to wonder about stuff like that. That's not really a surprise, given your other work that I've read so far, but it's still impressive.

Sofia is a really interesting character. She obviously cares about Will, but sometimes she lets her own fun cloud her judgment both with what she says and what she tries to do (trying to trick the guys into a three way with an unwitting Will in her pussy was a lot meaner and maybe even more dangerous than I think she realized). Still, she means well and shows that she really does care enough that the guys don't hold it against her (and maybe even like her more for it at times). And her finding ways to tease both Will AND Kyle with Will's size is an art form that she has mastered.

I also liked how Kyle continued to try to advocate for Will but also continued to give in to Sofia at times. That struggle made him more interesting for sure. And the way he sometimes joined his girlfriend in teasing Will (apparently a lot about leaving him at that size) was fun but didn't feel like it crossed a line. In a way, that was probably the most normal he could have treated his friend.

And Will's mental state as he ventured into the unknown of shrinking below the average floor was a joy to follow. It was one of those emotional rollercoasters I keep hearing about. His growing fear and depression is nicely conveyed, but it's balanced out with the inevitable three way I mentioned was inevitable (hence the name) in my last review and especially that birthday surprise. It was really touching that at his lowest point, his friends, at their busiest part of the school year, took the time to celebrate his birthday. And that line about the cupcake being the best he's ever had other than the taste was perfect.

Overall, for your first foray into a couples story (or even just as a story in general), this was really good!

Author's Response:

That awkward conversation Will was going to have is probably still going to happen, just in a different context. I think that whatever they all decide it'll be something they all enjoy, as strange as it is.

Sofia is definitely the driving sexual force of the story, cajoling the boys into her wild fantasies as Will gets smaller. She definitely cares for both of them, which is what keeps her manipulations from going in a darker direction.

Ultimately I wanted them all to remain friends through the shrinking, so a few scenes showing how strong the relationship is were needed. I thought the birthday thing was a nice way to show how much they value their tiny friend, even if he's kind of their pet for a year lol.
