This is really great. I'd like to say 'Finish it!' but, looking back at my own aborted projects on this website, it's hard not to sound like a hypocrite. Anyway this story makes me want to go back to writing on here.

This is going to be one of the first stories I ever finish on here to be fair. Certainly helps that this is a commission with only 1 chapter left. I'll always have sympathy for unfinished stories though, I get it.

I like to think my writing ability has improved since MM so it can be a little grating reading it back at times which makes it a lot harder to pick back up. I love all the characters though so maaaybe one day I’ll redux it with an ending but that’s a big maybe.

wow this story is similar to “Sweat and Tears” in a really cool twist. Yyou mentioned this was a commission so can expect about the same length as sweat and tears to really get good enough content, like 6-7 chapters? thsi story is a real hit pls continue !!!!!

While not the biggest fan of the "thicc" stuff, I do enjoy some odorous overtures, and you certainly describe that well. Laney's got the perfect mix of pushy mischievousness and restraint that makes her a joy when it comes to any sort of "interaction." Ned, while, he gives more more of a "everyman" impression, is still rather likable enough to root for, and you've portrayed his reaction to his condition reasonably well.
The premise does appear to resemble "Sweat and Tears," which is a very good thing, since that was an absolute gem, although Laney appears to be less of a headache to deal with than Alex, even if she smells seven ways to Sunday.

Ned is somewhat of a straight man to Laney but I like to think he's got a bit of spunk in him. I find the shrunken reaction always hard to write, because what are you actually doing in that scenario lol, glad you enjoyed it though.
A comparison to Sweat and Tears is a huge compliment, I didn't actually have it mind when writing this but now that you mention it... the premise's do match up. Happy to pay tribute to that banger regardless.
