Very good sci fi so far. Have you, by any chance, read “Children Of Ruin” by Adrian Tchaikovsky? The Queen is very similar to These-Of-We in the story. If you haven’t, it’s a great book and I’d highly recommend the series (that series being the “Children of Time” series)

This story is awesome !
I loved how the incorperants slowly are getting more and more powerful, plus the display of capacities they have like absortion and shapeshifting !
Are you going to continue this story, because i'm eager to know how big the Queen will get and how Humanity is going to resist !

I adore stuff like this where someone transforms incrementally into a sexier being. Lots of details about each phase of the process down to the micrometers. Shapeshifters and absorption. Really excited for where this is going, and I hope you see this through to the end cause Earth doesn't stand a chance.
