Author's Response:

Kind of a late response but yeah, Elara is with the main bunch now. The saga continues though!

I love this story. If there was one thing I could ask for it would be to be more descriptive and make the smut scenes longer, but I really really enjoyed the “danger zone” and lightsaber parts. I just can’t help but giggle, I love it.

Author's Response:

Thanks for the kind words! I'm considering doing a "beach episode" which would be mostly smut with the main characters, no real plot advancement just a beach planet and dirty stuff. I'm really glad you enjoyed some of the pop culture references, they're pretty self indulgent, but I feel they add a bit of fun to the story.

This story is pretty good.

I suppose that after this override of the Aelmari mission to destroy the cultist ship, and that someone went so far to try and off them and disrupt humans relations, they might take a more active role in looking for, defending against, and eliminating threats to their mission. And you never piss of rogue AIs intent on preserving their goal. Besides the diplomatic incident involving the Glana.

So it will be interesting to see that.

And of course, humans are apparently physic, so they could make an even bigger deal with the Aelmari for their help in maximizing humans psychic potential, and humans can help them on the psychic side of thing. since this sems to be like Stellaris, getting psy shields and precognitive computers would be only a boon for the Aelmari. Besides all the other awesome science to be conducted on it.

For ideas..

One is some other race, perhaps a “fallen empire” (hedonists I say), is genusinly the largest in the galaxy (no concrete numbers kn what general high range galactic races are) is 100 Meters tall, and what psy power they has is apart of their biology that lets them operate that tall in the first place, which might be tall by galactic standard. Or taller, or more psy powerful, who knows.

Another is the use of wedge heels, might be an interesting conversation about the tech involved in making high heel foot where in general practical enough. Little workd building, mentioning the other extreme other races went to for their own version of it. Perhaps making a space in such heal to hide or store humans if needed. Or have some capture mechanism on the bottom, so when stepping on them it just put them into some storage jell. Or just so it minimize injuries, and lets bigs walk around and on humans with no risk.

And final one, moth girls, combo of two toes digitigrade, cute soft fur, and an extra pare of arms. Antro Mothra, but even bigger.

Hope this isn’t too much.

"Hope this isn't too much"

I don't know if there's any author anywhere that would say a person has put too much thought into their work, thanks for reading and I really enjoyed reading your thoughts on it. Stellaris definitely had an impact on the general underlying story here. You are correct that the Aelmari are permanently altered in their reactions, those that were out to eliminate them underestimated what they would take from humanity and treated them as mere machines when they're beginning to become something more.

As for humanity's place I have an idea similar to the XCOM series where humans have a vast untapped psychic potential. What this means for the Aelmari, and other species, remains to be seen. Suffice to say the unseen master of the business suit ladies is in for a bigger fight than they originally thought.

Moth girls are definitely part of this universe but have only been mentioned in passing. Clara told people in the second story that she'd encountered them, but they haven't been in the main story yet.
