This story seems cool and like it has a lot of potential. Hwen you mentioned intelligence expansion in the description akin to Blemish on the Curb, i got a little worried. Because one of my main issues of that story, was how the implied condescension seemed to get annoying after a little while, almost like it overstayed its welcome. Hopefully, stuff like that is avoided here. Good luck!

I love the set up of this story so much. The scene with the writing on the wall and then the train conductor provided so much mystery. And I love the little tease in the final few sentences. I just know this story is going to be awesome and can't wait to read about what Aaron experiences!

I wonder if this will end up having a "good" ending? Like his friends tease and humiliate him, but are still nice and gentle with him. I know your other works aren't like that, but I'm hoping for something like that.
