Yes, yes, we all know how much you loathe Cassie. The important thing to note in this chapter is that Nick is out of the apartment and away from her. He’s now free to be able to regain control of his powers, but before he can actually do that, he needs to let go. Remember, though, in the end, all the bad ones eventually get their comeuppance.

Still really enjoying this story! The fact that Cassie brought up Nick being small while they were having sex makes it seem like she does actually enjoy him being tiny and might be having some second thoughts about banning him from doing it. Maybe she's conflicted between her lust for using him as a toy versus her desire to keep him safe. This internal conflict might be why she was acting that way towards Nick for the first half of the chapter.
Then again, I also can't help but wonder if she's plotting something with how sudden of a shift she had in her personality towards the end of the chapter. Maybe she's been reading Nick's book in her free time?
Looks like we're about to find out how durable Nick is if the end of the chapter is any indication. I can't help but wonder if Cassie will believe that Nick didn't shrink himself on purpose and how she'll react to him being shrunk again.
Can't wait to see how things play out from here to the rest of the story and whether or not we'll see a happy ending.

Cassie does still love Nick, conditionality anyway, and she does still care about him, but the stress of having to worry about accidentally squashing him by something as simple as walking around their apartment obviously has her on edge....and she’s quickly approaching the breaking point.

Cassie's cluelessness is really tiring now. How she doesn't think to check on Nick, after everything that's happened. Even if she 'thought' she might have heard something, after everything she should have taken more precaution and thought "Nope, gonna check just in case"
And her moments with Nick in this chapter (when they're having sex) was a bit of a relief, but as you yourself said, her feelings for Nick seem to be subjbective as long as he's following what she wants. As long as Nick is doing things the way she wants, everything is fine.
But if not, she's a moody intollerant bitch who treats him like a bug, or sub-human, "no no Nick, don't explain yourself, don't tell me your genuine fear and the fact you can't fucking control the shrinking, I don't want to hear it cause I'm not happy with you" - Cassie
Why not put up some camera's or some sort of system to allert her when he shrinks, you would think after almost dying multiple times that Nick would say "Yep, I need to put some cameras up" or some sort of alarm system.
*sighs* with all that being said, I am looking forward to the next chapter, you write the tiny scenes so hot, and I love Cassie's body and interacting with her feet and massive form (though at the same time, Cassie's aloofness and ignorance, and bitchy attitude pisses me off)

You empathize with Nick, and you regret Cassie, which is what I was going for, so I guess I’ve done a good job writing this story. She’s ignorant of her own faults, and ignorant of Nick’s situation when he’s shrunk, which you picked up on, so congrats.

Great story. I love how Nick has a hard time controling his shrinking. Cassie reaction is pretty understandable from her point. Nick just keeps shrinking and she thinks that if she gets rid of the book that will fix the problem. it will be interesting to see if he gets bigger again. if he does, will he ever explain to her that he is doing subconsciously? will he shrink again and have to hide. does he have to hide on her body or clothes to find a way to get back. does she find him and squish him? I hope it is with her boobs or pussy, even if it is unaware. Or does she accept that he can't control it. does she let him live with her or on her? Does she make his life horrible for being that small until he can bring his shrinking under control.
There are so many options. it will be great to see what you write.

I kind of want Cassie to have a huge epiphany moment of how she's treated him, and actually believe's Nick's story, just to see the emotional strain and toll it'll put on this bitch.
Sorry if I seem like I'm bitter, but her character (as it stands now) is fucking horrible to Nick.

It’s perfectly fine that you’re not a fan of Cassie, and it’s true that she doesn’t listen to Nick. She’s ignorant of his situation, even when she knows he’s small. The strain on their marriage is definitely reaching the breaking point, and it’ll take more than councilling to keep them together.
To be honest with you, your dislike of Cassie is kind of the point. She is supposed to be demonstrating conditional love, and that it’s really not healthy in a marriage. I’m actually really glad that you picked up on it, and feel sympathy for Nick for having to put up with it.

Another awesome chapter! I've really enjoyed the sweaty workout theme, to me it just takes the unaware side of things to a new level and adds a new layer of tortue to Nick's ordeal. Can't wait to see where things go from here now that it seems like Cassie is going to be expecting Nick to come home.
I'll echo what another user said and say that I'm also looking forward to seeing you explore how Nick's shrinking is putting a strain on their relationship. I mean regardless of whether or not Nick is in control of his shrinking at this point, Cassie made it clear that she was done with it, so it'll be interesting to see how she reacts to Nick being tiny again, especially if he has trouble returning to normal (or can't).

I was hoping people would like the workout scene. I wasn’t expecting it to go so long, but there were so many things I wanted Nick to go through, that it literally would’ve been a HUGE chapter, so I split it up to make it more digestible.
It’s true that Cassie should be more careful, especially after promising Nick she’d always look for him, but it’s the fact that she is pretty ignorant in that respect that reflects her personality. It seems her love for Nick is proving to be conditional on him obeying her and staying big; but, as his wife, she should love him unconditionally, especially when he gets himself into trouble and needs it the most. He’s trying to keep his promise, but ends up breaking it when he accidentally shrinks himself, and she breaks her promise by not staying aware of him when he’s absent, and these are the times that we see that Cassie’s love and sympathy for him tend to disappear, in her ignorance and her apathy when she finds him. Don’t get me wrong, she’s not cruel, she just can’t seem to love Nick when he’s small.
You’re not wrong in thinking that Nick’s shrinking is definitely putting some strain on their marriage, and you’ll see just how that manifests in the chapters ahead.

Really enjoyed this chapter! Actually the past two chapters have touched on two of my favorite scenarios. The idea of shrinking in one's sleep and then getting trapped under your spouse is awesome, and the workout scenario was great. Now that Nick is around front it'll be interesting to see if he winds up going for a ride as Cassie blows off some of her sexual frustration from earlier. I also can't wait to see what Cassie does once she finds Nick. I'm hoping he'll stay small for a while this time, even after he's found.

I really like the idea of shrinking in one’s sleep and get tingly trapped under one’s spouse, too. The feelings of helplessness and the excuse for a spouse to be naked works out perfectly.
And trust me, Cassie’s workout is FAR from over, and Nick’s torture is really going to heat up.

1/4 is actually a bit too large for my fantasies especially if it is unaware. if youre 1/4 I kinda cant see it would work being unaware, especially if the girls opens her arse and looks into a mirror. thats why for me it is really important to think about these scales, and just bring out a meassurement scale and look at how large 1/4 for example are and then think if that would work or not, and in my oppinion 1/4 is way too large for a good unware plot. it becomes logic from sizes around 1/16 or smaller. I saw you mentioned the word yoga in this chapter, I have to say I dont enjoy work out plots, especially not yoga or treatmill plots at all, that is way too cliche for my taste. so I mostly wont enjoy the next chapter sadly I think. but I still seceretly hope for maybe I will.

I do like how you mention the miscommunication between the two of them at their different sizes and how you try to keep it realistic. It’s true, I could have left Nick inside Cassie’s ass for a longer period, but he’d eventually have to come out some point, or end up dying in there, and I’m not ready to end the story there....at least, not yet. 😉 Rest assured, however, I’m an ass man, too, And I like the thought of a character being sat on, or stuck somewhere between a giant woman’s ass cheeks. If you liked the first part of this chapter, I think you’re really going to enjoy the next couple. Trust me, this won’t be the last Nick sees of Cassie’s ass!
I know some people like to have sad, or tragic endings at the end of their stories. For me, it all depends on the situation, and if I feel the story needs to have a happy ending or not. All I can say is, not all of my endings are going to be happy.

I agree that Cassie isn’t considering Nick’s side of things, but she’s more concerned with his safety than his feelings at the present moment. Like I’ve mentioned before, I didn’t want Cassie to be some unrealistic “perfect, bombshell wife”; I wanted her to be realistic, and to act and react like a real wife would if faced with a similar situation.
Also, with Nick at such a small size, Cassie can’t hear or understand what he’s saying, so she can only go off of his body language. If you recall, she DID notice Nick’s displeasure about being put in that jar, but she was too concerned with his safety, and too upset to find a better alternative.
I know Cassie’s personality maybrub you the wrong way at times, but it those qualities that make her seem realistic.
I appreciate your feedback, and I hope you continue to read on.

I was hoping some of my readers would enjoy the “glass jar” scene. I feel it brings a sense of realism to their situation as well. Cassie wants to keep Nick safe, so that might be an obvious choice. Besides, she threatened to do it before when he shrank himself too small in chapter five. It also won’t be the last time you see Cassie “punish” Nick for his recklessness either.

He pretty much goes in the same place. As long as there’s room inside Cassie, there’s air, albeit stale air. However, he wasn’t exactly inside her for that long.
I try to strive for some degree of realism in my stories. Sure I take artistic license, especially with the resiliency of my main characters, but I really try to make things plausible and picturable in the minds of my readers.
