This one is simply a great little story and idea. Wouldn't have minded a bit more buildup/dialogue, but it's well done as is.

This ending was fantastic, I love the accidental, nonchalant, uncaring manner of both drunk girls, the deception, and how even after they are both sober his death is considered an afterthought. Is my mental state in question because imagining being albert in this situation gets my engine running? Probably. But this is still fantastic writing.

That was the part that turned me on the most too, the casual dismissal afterwards, where they just don't care. Also the implication that the dog has eaten boyfriends before, and probably will again, and yet she keeps the dog. I tend to relate more to the preds in these stories, but I'm glad you enjoy it from Alfred's POV too <3
