Every now and then I keep asking myself: "Why, why do you still refresh this page here and there just in case it gets to be updated?"
And I came to the conlcusion: "Because I secretly hope Exiguus will update this fucking good story one day."
Author's Response:
Thanks Luidgi, I'm sorry for the long gap between chapters.

I am afraid this story won't be updated anymore, and I think it is very sad. Such a good piece of work.

Honestly, I'd be very glad if you could update your story like, anytime soon. I'm anxious to read the next chapeter, which will reach the milestone of 10. If you lack ideas, I have a lot, your story is a real good one and makes my mind go wild. Keep up Exiguus.
Author's Response:
Thanks. I hate to say it, but I'm far too busy to dedicate much time to the story right now, and that'll probably be the case for a few weeks. I had gotten about half of the next chapter written before things picked up. Thanks for the encouragement.

This is probably my favorite story on this site. I love how there's actual hope there. The characters are complicated and incredibly well-written. And it's wishful thinking, considering the latest chapter's reveal, but I hope things end well for Alisa.
Author's Response:
Thank you. I'm glad you like the characters... I'm trying to make them believable and real.

Just started following this little piece. I've been gone for a couple months because of busy-ness, and this is a great way to come back. Love it.
The church scene in your most recent chapter was a nice mix of twistedness and innocence. Also, looking forward to the kindly 'research' your 'serious professional woman' has planned--with all good intentions.

Author's Response:
Thanks... I was a bit hesitant to throw religion into the mix, but I had always intended that to be a motivating factor for our antagonists.

You have to know, that every time I read this story I just get... Angry.
This is by far the cruelest story I've read in a long while, but it NEEDS to be. It's such a well crafted psychological mess.
Somehow, I know how Alisa feels, the whole situation is just so human yet unreal.
I'm very impressed, keep going, really, this is by far my favorite story around.
Author's Response:
Thanks a lot! I'm glad you like the story.

Nice nice nice. I like this story very much and I refresh the page everyday to get the next piece of action. I pretty much enjoy when things are intense and a bit out of hand. This chapter is softer than the other, but still good. I hope Alisa goes inshoe even more, I don't know why. I feel her predicament is somehow bad, yet inveitable. Anna's part is so far my favorite because she's so cruel and friendly at the same time, strong character.
Whatever you do, don't stop writing this story, it's going up the most read and most reviewed for sure. You're a very good writer.

Author's Response:

I can't help re-reading Ms Pattie's last sentence and think of what that "something" could be...
Anyway, great to see you seem to have enough spare time to write two chapters in a few days!
