I'm always excited to see I when I have a new review. Really get the heart pumping when I see someone has read something I work really hard on. Which makes the reveal that it's lying spam hurt a little every time it happens.

Okay, I ended up liking Lillith way more than I thought I would, she had a surprising amount of depth! I can't wait to see what ability Harm got. Very intense game all throughout! Interesting characters too. This was a fantastic arc. Thank you for the chapter! Now, we can only hope Cleo won't give in to any desires...

One, elias really is super annoying and hard to work with. As much as I get his frustrations, it's not like everyone else at the table is much better. They're killing people! Better the devil you know than the devil you don't, right?

Also, Cleo, you poor baby. Like, as illogical as her actions seem, they're so, so normal for new poker players. I used to do that myself when I had judt started playing! I could sympathize, poor girl.

I'm not gonna lie, I really like the direction this took! Glad to know the game also doesn't involve killing the tinies they brought, phew. Fantastic set up and great twist with getting rid of Lucas! I can't wait to see how this will go. Thank you for the chapter!

Man, as much as I can understand Elias, if anything bad happens I feel like it's gonna be all his fault. I really loved this moment with Theo and Jade! Probably going into my top 3 chapters of this work - I'm a sucker for gentle when the one being gentle could just so easily end it all and she knows it.

Also, Eve's plans seem to be working for now... I wonder what else she has in store.

I know she already was one, but this chapter definitely solidified her as a villain. So she really can manipulate people! Poor Harm, I can only feel for him. We barely got to know Elena but the whole situation made me fear for her life. You establish characters really well! Thank you for the chapter!

The plot thickens! Very pulpy way to get in a little bit of gore as we start to see a bit more of what Wr8 can do, figuratively and literally. It seemed like Caleb barely needed a shove to act out his dark fantasies, so I'm very curious as to what her power actually is. Thanks again for writing it!

What he got wasn't just a shove, Caleb's entire resolves around control, and he was robbed of it.

Oh wow, two chapters, nice! I wanted to comment on both since you deserve the attention and individual reviews - also hopefully this will help boost the story! This was a nice break from the last few chapters and a nice look into how everyone is taking this. Much better than Elias, that's for sure! Great story, with lots of interesting concepts and characters. But the most interesting is obviously Robin, so let me give my two cents about what I think is going on and what I think will happen.

First, the easy part: Robin is no monster, not even near. Monsters never question, never doubt, never realize their own wicked nature. Robin is human and only human.

When someone is scared and doubts herself a lot, it can be flattering and soothing to think oneself as a unredeemable being, to say our actions are unavoidable at some level - the allure of feeling like a part of nature, of how the world really works.

This kind of thought brings both pain and pleasure - Robin relishs on the idea that only she knows her true self and is the only keeping this monstrous part at bay...

All part of a elaborate lie, not from a psyco but from someone who feels very small when near her friends. How I can meke such claim? Because what makes Robin herself are not the fantasies in her head - a human alone is no monster: she can play monster because she has people that she loves and that loved her back.

The ultimate proof of what I am saying is the fact Robin feels relieved opening up, she wants her loved ones to know she is that scary monster... but is scared out of her wits when faced with the prospect of her friends and herself meeting with a true monster like Wr8.

The true tragedy of the story - in my opinion, of course - is not Robin's fantasies or past, but the fact that she has yet to realize her fantasies do not steams from indifference or wickedness towards the ones in her absolute power, but from her need to have absolute power over those she loves.

But Robin will probably only realize she is no monster after commiting a monstrous act. I hope her friends, her family, finds it in them to remember: in Robin we trust - even when under her monstrous feet.
