Lucky cities! Though I must say I am a bit skeptical that after having been thoroughly stepped and trodden on, that there would be anything left that would be recognizable to Laura as being a city. More likely, I think, it would just be crushed into some strange rubble or powder. It would be weird, and I think she'd ponder what it was and how it got in there, but I don't think she would be able to recognize it as a city. Large structures like the Eiffel tower DEFINITELY would not last being stepped on, and certainly wouldn't be recognizable in the aftermath. Also kinda doubt the individual bodies would be recognizable to her at her size, except with a microscope maybe. But it is a work of fiction and fetish fiction at that, so realism needs to take a back seat, I suppose.

I wonder where the next city (Berlin) is going to end up? Inside of her other shoe, I presume. I wonder why the machine would choose the inside of Laura's shoes to deposit the teleported cities of all places? It seems unlikely and contrived that this would just happen by random chance. Obviously neither Laura nor her father chose to target her shoes specifically, so I wonder why the machine did that.

Also, I would just like to make note of the fact that the company of Adidas is a German company headquartered in Germany. Maybe this might mean something to the German citizens of Berlin who find themselves in the same position as the citizens of Paris did, with the writing of "Adidas" in the sky.
