Ever since I first read this story back in early 2023 I thought there was something compelling about it. Aside from its general quality, I can't quite put my finger on it, but I think has to do with how Alice's general place in society is left to the reader's imagination. We don't quite know how normal it is for giants to exist. We don't exactly know how common they are. Harry is surprised by her, but not to the point that he can't keep acting normal. We don't know how accommodative society is of giants, and we don't know what power they hold. Her casual display of dominance when she crushes a couple of cars and sits down on a building without a care in the world would normally strike me as too cruel, or annoyingly arrogant, but judging from everyone's reaction, it seems like it's not too unusual, though we can't tell for sure. So I'm just left with a hot display of power. It's weirdly intriguing.

With so much great competition, A Date with a Giantess might not be my favorite Terry Larka story, but it's certainly one that makes me go "Damn! O_O"

And yes, Harry and Alice are cute together lol

Wow! I never expected to see a new review on this one. Thank you! This was one of my earliest size stories, written back when I only posted on DA (which was basically a six-month span before I joined GW). 

I’ve always been a fan of jumping straight into the action, and something I love about one-shots is the ability to introduce concepts without feeling the need to explain every little aspect of them. I enjoy the “just run with it” vibes a story like this has, where the important parts are what’s happening in the moment and not figuring out how we got to this moment. Because goddammit, I just wanted to write a cute date between a man and 100ft woman and I wasn’t letting anything get in the way of that!

But thank you for sharing your thoughts on this story. I haven’t thought about it in years, so it’s really cool to see a fresh perspective on it. I’m glad you enjoyed it!
