My only main issue is that I have trouble internalising how big a 4000 miles giantess would even be, so it's difficult to accurately picture the story in my mind any help? reference material ect.

I always like to start with idea that the smallest size something can be seen at by the naked eye at a close range is 0.5 mm- the diameter of a speck of dust. The equivalent of a 4000 mile tall woman would be something 1 mile- so I set it up that she can see an extremely tall skyscraper (in the real world none are that tall, but they get very close)- which is what I set up in the most recent chapter.
I wanted the microputian population to be >100,000,000 so it's a large nation, contained within an ant-farm that's maybe 1 foot by 1 foot on prodi scale . That would mean it's about 500,000 square miles (size of New England and New York state) on micro scale, or 200 of them/square mile, which is typical of the US east seaboard.
Her fingertip would be about 20 miles by 30 miles.

In the first chapter, John estimated Maddie's height at 20,000 miles, and Maddie measured herself at 4000 miles in this chapter. Is this an error?

Sorry I thought I caught that before publishing; scale should be 4,000 miles, there is going to be some interaction where 20,000 would be too big , although if micros are 1 inch to lillis on up the chain, that would come out to a prodigan being 20,000 miles. (70^4 as large) I edited for 4,000 miles.

Great story so far!
Intrigued to see how the relationship between John and Maddie develops going forward. Also curious to see if Maddie finds a way to bring the civilization away to college with her… Seems like there could be all sorts of fun possibilities if that happens
