Aww, I feel terrible for Sasha and Amanda. Any chance there's a big karma rebalancing for the two of them in their crapsack world? I see some potential for linking the two of them together, for all we know they live in the same apartment building. A certain landlord might find herself under threat of legal action from a furious Amanda while her mother's blubbering behind her begging her to forgive her. Maybe she blurts out someone else in the building has a sham, a pitiful thing she notices Lisa has been abusing, and either mentions Lisa has been living paycheck to paycheck, Amanda perks up hearing about another abused sham in her building with Stan's warm body fresh in her mind, or just the fact that there's another sham nearby for a desperate Ms. Stone to acquire to try and appease Amanda.

One potential is Ms. Stone bolting to Lisa's and writing her a very generous check, enough to persuade her not to hold onto Sasha and enjoy tormenting her before killing her right before the deadline. Another is Amanda awakening some protective zeal after learning about Sasha from the landlord and marching down to buy her off of Lisa, maybe tricking her into thinking she'll give Sasha a terrible end by framing Stan's death and saying how desperate she is to enjoy abusing a sham all the way up to the deadline or drawing on her paralegal experience and citing some clauses if Lisa refuses to sell or gets greedy.

Speaking of clauses, my favorite potential future I desperately want is Amanda letting Sasha free herself to spite Lisa. What if there's a clause in the new law that as long as the sham has the payment with witnesses to attest the cost of their debt and that they've paid it, their owner cannot refuse accepting it and freeing them or risk getting arrested and the sham freed anyway? The sham's benefactor could literally being standing there after handing them the cash or check or holding their smart phone in front of the shame with a cash app ready to go right in front of their owner and they would have to accept it. Amanda would conveniently learned when the landlord mentioned Sasha and Lisa that Sasha only cost $600 and meekly confirm it in the initial negotiation to satisfy Amanda. I would love to see Amanda and gang get invited into Lisa's, Amanda get taunted or ridiculed by Lisa that she won't sell or let Sasha out of her apartment to earn her freedom or demand a fortune, only for Amanda to gently hand Sasha the payment and explain the acceptance clause. Have her scoop Sasha up while leaving Lisa shaking in rage but too shocked to act and say something withering to her downcast mother as she passes by her.
