Well that was a fun little story, although I do wish it was longer. Technically it wouldn't be a time machine backwards in time but an arrival into an alternate universe to keep the paradoxes and loops out. There are also a few word errors like "pleasure in her bladder" instead of "pressure in her bladder" and the word "splinter" instead of "sphincter" but apart from little things it was a very well written story.

The descriptions of Virgilia's body are nice, but could have used even more description. For example, when Virgilia squats over James and pees on him, giving him a good look at her pussy, you could have gone into describing her pussy in more detail. You do go into a decent amount of detail about clothing and smells though, for example you describe Virgilia's pee as smelling somewhat different from a modern day's woman due to diet, which is a neat little detail. In the days before the wide availability of running water, plumbing, and toilet paper, even the pretty young ladies would smell differently. Their crotches and butts especially, since they would just casually relieve themselves outside, or in chamberpots, with little to wipe themselves.

Ironically, it turned out James was much safer with Virgilia than he was with Sarah. Sarah made a big show of freeing him from slavery by smuggling him out, but turned out to care very little from him. Sarah did nothing when the other young woman unknowingly swallowed James, and instead resigned him to a cruel and unusual fate. Poor James. He went from being one of the best and brightest in the modern world, to getting swallowed alive by an ignorant slavegirl and drowning in her stomach, while his liberator did nothing. Then to add insult to injury, his body is shit out of the ass of the careless and ignorant slavegirl into a bucket when she takes a dump. An ignoble downfall for one of modern societies learned higher ups, to just end as food and a bowel movement from one of another societies most ignorant and lower ranking members. Maybe the story would have lasted longer if he stayed with Virgilia, it seemed like he was beginning to good into her good graces, as well as her bloomers, but the abrupt dark ending was good too.

As far as other time period settings and ideas, a few come to mind.

Medieval European Countryside. Someone from the present, shrunk, is discovered by a very pretty, but very coarse and unladylike country peasant girl when she relieves herself working outside. To protect him from the animals and other dangers outside she takes him with her and keeps him very close at all times, but she also has other reasons. She's really horny, perverted, and sexually frustrated due to her sexual repression, and the lack of men around in the remote countryside. Dead father, only her, her mother, and maybe sisters to work some land in an area owned by a distant noble. She might also want to express some perverted fantasies and dominance over a man due to being at the lower end of society that's also male dominated. But she learns to love her minature lover. Maybe he teaches her some science, methods, and inventions ahead of their time to help her rise.

Pagan Rome. Someone from the present ends up shrunk, and in the possesion of the Lena (madam) of an upscale Roman brothel. She and her ladies get creative with him, and they use him as a special attraction during sexy tricks and routines in front of well paying clients as a special attraction, as word of mouth spreads, with him becoming a legend. The girls could have sexy and humorous routines of him interacting with their pussies, buttholes, and mouths in ways meant to highlight the size difference, like a tiny and giantesses sexual circus act. Even swallowing him, to the astonished viewers, before bringing him back up. Fun fact, Roman women shaved regularly to keep themselves clean in the crotch area.

Ancient World. Around Roman times. A group of men end up shrunk and in the ancient world and are brought before a barbarian queen and her daughters who are in a conflict, with maybe Romans or another barbarian tribe. Something like Queen Boudica and her revolt. The barbarian queen takes the tinies for her own personal use, and cleverly uses them in public displays, where she presents them as captured enemies that she has shrunk, claiming them as proof of her "magical powers" as part of the intimidation propaganda effort. She might even publicly dominate these "captured enemies" as part of the display, careful not to kill them, so she can present them as new "captured enemies" in the next display of her "powers."

Another idea might be to make not only shrunken size as a consequence of portal travel, but possibly invulernability or near invulnerability as well. That way the character or characters can survive stresses and pressures at their small size that might otherwise kill or maim them. It might be fun to have the giantesses use this invulnerability to their advantage, mock executions by crushing or swallowing, of those "shrunk by her magic" as part of the illusion. Or the giantess just might like the perverted femdom thrill in a male dominated society of being able to swallow her tiny man and have him pass through her body, tickling her insides,before coming out her butthole. Although, this might rob the story of some of it's danger. Either with, or without invulnerability works.

These are just some ideas for settings and scenarios and whatever you go with, I do look forward to the next story in this historical giantesses series.

I just wanted to say I always love the idea of sizey time travel cause you never know what could happen. I would love to see this as a series in general of others trying out his time machine and being sent off to different times. A giant cavewoman of prehistory, a giant princess of medival times, or even an egyptian or greek priestess thinking she got a reward from the gods. You could go with so many interesting ideas and I can't wait to see how this story goes.
