So it was manifest destiny in the end, was it? The world needed a massive Trish to transport them to a new world, and now she gets to shrink back down and enjoy her family (unless she keeps going, down of course, but it sounds like she'd enjoy that, too!). I can't express enough how ecstatic I am that we got such a happy ending, even if it means my literal-goddess theory was wrong!

Those first few paragraphs were pretty cleverly put together, leaving Trish's fate ambiguous. That "Trish's gift to them all" line actually had me a bit concerned that she was either too big for this new world as well (we hadn't been told that it was Mars just yet) or that something else had happened to her.

But everything from "Go ask your mom" forward absolutely melted my heart!

The way Thomas, Trish, and Sophie picked on Junior was so endearing, and it was so nice to get a glimpse at the Thomas and Trish's children at that! We only got to know young Junior and Sophie in this chapter, but they jumped off the page with their unique personalities. It took almost no time at all for me to love reading them.

The size discussion between Trish and Thomas was so interesting. Her lying about how she felt at 20 feet tall just to turn on her husband was a very Trish thing to do, and her reasons for feeling so awkward about it made perfect sense. Also, I would assume that she went through maybe her most hostile time on the way up (that's when the FBI tried to turn her against him) might have had something to do with that too, but that's pure speculation on my part.

And I don't blame Trish being upset on the day that Thomas stopped fitting fully inside her. That's a hell of a thing to have to give up!

There were several Trish moments in this final chapter (hell, the whole thing could be considered a Trish moment unto itself), but I think I'm going to single out her "trying to eat" Thomas because of his cheekiness. That was insanely cute and really hot at the same time, which sums up my view of Trish as well as anything.

A close runner-up would be the way she reminded Thomas that he hadn't given her a pregnant belly yet. I was happy enough for her that she would be able to properly mother her children now, but to potentially be able to experience a real pregnancy and hold one of her newborn children, knowing how much it hurt her not to experience these things the first two times is a better future than I could have imagined for her based on even where the previous chapter ended.

Back to that size discussion, I was intrigued at how Trish's original attraction to big strong men not only stayed strong despite her growing lust at being larger than everything but actually seems to have evolved to the point that she finds the prospect of being super small equally as hot. She has a true size fetish now, which is a long way from where she was at the start, simply feeling as though the man should be bigger just because that's how this was supposed to work in her mind. It's like discovering that new part of herself that loved being big helped her to understand her old self so much better.

And, of course, part of that was her deeper realization that no matter which of them is bigger (or even if they're the same size), it's the fact that she's with Thomas that really does it for her. I think her feeling filled with Thomas's "finger-sized' cock was a beautiful metaphor to illustrate this, too.

If only she had figured all this out sooner, then she could have avoided that douche Jake altogether. To be fair, though, he ended up being pretty inconsequential to her anyway, in the grand scheme of things. But reading this made me think back to her previous relationship with him and how much deeper and more meaningful what she has now truly is.

Oh, and I loved how Thomas knew just what buttons to push with her during that conversation, as he always seems to. The fact that he could help her get in the mood with that kind of teasing was a great way to illustrate that his love for her was never just about her size (I mean, this has been pretty clear pretty much from the start, but hitting on that point one more time now that she's almost normal-sized again seemed appropriate here) and that he's just as willing to indulge her as she had been to do so for him this whole time. Again, beautiful.

And I love the way you ended the story. Having Trish explain that their story is never really over is as true as anything I've read in fiction. If these characters were real, they'd experience day-to-day life until well after their adventure had ended and the last page finished. Her emphasizing that is so meaningful because, despite being a goddess for a while and saving humanity, what she ultimately wants is just to live that day-to-day existence with the people she loves, and that's no less important than all the historical stuff, at least to her.

Also, yeah Thomas, how could you skimp on the sex scenes? What the fuck, man?!

Obviously I've been a huge fan of this story and particularly its two leads. I spent a lot of time in the early chapters talking about Thomas and most of the later ones about Trish, for obvious reasons, but both of them have been so delightful to read throughout. From those early days where both of them were fighting their feelings to this wonderful ending where they have a full family and are looking to add more, their journey has been such a fulfilling one to follow.
