Yes, it’s been so long since I last posted, but I had to go back and do some major rewrites to the story, especially these last few chapters, before I was satisfied with the finished product. The Saturday chapters are especially taking me an extra long time because the plot is largely conversation driven, and I had to take extra time writing and rewriting the scenes to hit all the important plot points and get to the outcome I wanted the story to reach, while still trying to make the conversations flow smoothly, feel more natural, and ensure the eventual character actions seem more believable.

     It’s been a long, slow road, and I know many of my readers have been waiting patiently on new material—which I assure you is coming—instead of just rewrites, which many people complained about when they got rewrites instead of new material. I’ve also been working on several projects simultaneously, and often switch back and forth between projects when I get inspiration or ideas for scenarios. Hopefully, I’ll start posting again within the next few weeks.

Currently, I’m working on a couple side projects that I’m using to practice and layout scenarios which I plan to include in Little, Big Brother. I’m also working on the outline and getting some preliminary ideas and details laid out.

Unfortunately, it might be a solid year before I start posting chapters for my next novel. Along with the side projects, I really want to finish the alternate ending for Babysitter Trouble, since I have a lot of readers asking for it. I also want to have most of the novel written to avoid delays in posting new chapters.
