I just LOVE this story, especially this chapter.  The idea that millions are living on Andrew's balls, actually fighting a war over them, is intoxicating.  His ballsack is their whole world, its wrinkles mountain ranges and valleys.  No wonder he finds their puny conflict amusing.   I'm half-tempted to write a derivative story exploring this aspect of your larger world more fully.  Imagine all the details which could be fleshed out.  For example, if Andrew is warm, and his balls drop, does that make the war intensify because it's easier to move armies across less hilly terrain?  Conversely, if he's cold, and thus his sack scrunches back up, do the various factions become more isolated due to the return of the "mountains"?  Do they have a sort of Richter scale to measure the intensity of his ballquakes, depending on whether he's walking, or going for a jog?  What if he casually reaches down and scratches his nuts?  A story about how even his trivial actions could profoundly shape their whole world might be fun to write.  What do you think?
