He should be scared of Fanny. I like that she treats him like a child since he is so small. I assume Fanny will become more authoritative. Will he eventually have to answer her with Yes Ma'am?

Maybe a situation where she asks him something and he answers yes but she does not hear him because of his tiny voice. Fanny looks down and says excuse me. He looks up even more frightened and answers a bit louder, Yes Ma'am. Just wondered if you agreed.

Awesome chapter. Love all the things Fanny has done. Really a great chapter. I am surprised that he does not answer her with yes ma'am. He should look up at her when she speaks to him. Well done describing her hand and fingers slowly wrapping him up despite his banging.

Thanks for the feedback, i really appreciate it. Regarding the "yes ma'am" thing, bear in mind that i am from Argentina and english is not my native language. I am not very familiarized with the term, i have never read it or heard it in any context other than this site and i don't even know how it sounds, for long time i thought that the word "ma'am" stood for "mom / mother" and i realized that it wasn't like that one week ago after reading your previous review and searching the term meaning on internet.
Nice chapter. I like that Fanny is forcing him to admit his smallness and uselessness.
I like that just as he is saying you can't do this, Fanny closes the drawer further showing she can and that his opinion means nothing. Love her psychology on him. I am voting neighbor.

Yes Ma'am is a sign of respect usually from a younger person to an older lady, or to a female boss at work. You can say it to any lady who you have respect for. Even someone only 10 years older. Just someone showing respect to someone above them in life.

Matthew has the chance of a lifetime as a devil offers to give him everything he ever wanted. The consequences though may be more than he anticipated.
Wow, a deal with the devil. Nice idea. Enjoying the story very much. I would have liked more interaction with Candace. I am surprised that at his size he doesn't address her as Ms. Candace. Looking forward to seeing more of where you are going with this. So far it is well done and interesting.

Thanks, we're just about at the point where things are going to get drastically worse as Matthew shrinks, so there will definitely be more moments with Candace involved. As of the end of this chapter 5 I have his height at 4'0. Right now I just want him to have some moments with the main characters since right now he still has moderate sovereignty over his life. As he continues to lose height and things spiral way beyond his control he'll have some far more interesting interactions with people.
Cool chapter. I hope he stays 1 foot 6 inches for a while longer.

The two young girls were pretty cool also. Can't blame them for being interested.

Glad to see this story continued. I am rereading it.. When he is talking to Candace he originally addresses her as Ms . Candace or Miss Candace (can't remember) and answers her with yes ma'am . Should t he always answer her this way?

Ack! That was an oversight on my part, I forgot to add that he had a very sarcastic inflection in the first chapter when he refered to Candace as m'am. Normally he doesn't use any honorifics when referring to Candace, and when he does it tends to be with a dose of snark.
Very well done I enjoyed Miss Taylor and the way she took control. A kid would see things differently than an adult. Dr. Penne was awesome. The measuring, the weighing, and the inspecting were all great. I thought she might have tested his blood. Very well written by the way. He has no choice but to depend on the kindness of everyone. I would think a few more yes Ma'ams are in order to diffuse potential situations.

Fabulous story. Really enjoyed it. Loved the vehicle being crushed first.
An 18 year old sister finds herself shrinking and must live through the embarressing trauma of shrinking smaller then her 15 year old, 12 year old, 8 year old and finally two year old sisters. suddenly she isn't the dominate one in the house and her mother just doesn't care. Can she survive her sisters as they realize the upper hand they have?
