Hmm, a family that posesses magic or just a family of brilliant chemists/biologists who can create anti-aging fruit and weaponize a century old shrinking virus? I'm wondering if Tae was born into the family or was adopted as a speck when they tested her and found something special in her dna. Grace seemed to imply her family knows something about how the Diminution virus began, maybe they owned the lab that developed it or just did a loot of research and had special specks like Tae.

Also Tae's claim that her familiy can't help or directly handle speck communities because American companies own them and block foreign interferance seems disingenuous now. If their family can buy attorney generals, governors, members of congress, and soon the president of the US, buying out or ruining small competitors seems like no issue. Grace's concern for Eren hints that her family may have no personal issue sheltering and helping the born specks, especially if there's useful one like Eren who can improve the efficiency of machines, since they don't acknowledge all the worthless propoganda about them. Wonder if the specks have or will have better treatment in countries the family already controls like China?

If it's Tae that's about to solo brawl with Thomas, hopefully he's injured enough to not be able to best her. She's strong and skilled but so is he. Tae might get her serum used on her if bested, remains to be seen if that happens if she has some kind of peach or blood power to reverse it when the time is right.

It's kind of funny how everyone's reaction to being told why they were shrunk is too say "but he was just a speck". Are you sure you want to make the arument that speck abuse is okay when you yourself are currently speck size?

We finally confirm that correlation about Eren noticing how tall and athletic she is for a human and the comments about how fit Eren is since only fit specks have a chance of surviving in the dangerous world. It's interesting if Tae-yeon is Tae's biological sister instead of a friend like-a-sister. Since Grace called her Ji-soo earlier, is that a general title for a family member or Tae's real name and she just strangely goes by her friend Yeon's name? It hasn't been stated yet if regular humans occasionally concieve speck babies. It would lower the bar again on the morality of the society if parents are abandoning speck infants and dumping them upon the impoverished speck communities if not requesting their doctors to kill them outright. Since Tae has a unique biological trait, the Xirang, she could either be the biological sister of Tae-yeon or she was simply a friend kind enough to care for Tae until she one day grew.

This kind of hints that Tae may be involved in the Amrita corps ability to produce weaponized shrink serum since apparently the general public has long been immune to the original outbreak a century ago. The company may have been researching the virus in speck test subjects and Tae happened to be the one in a million who had unique genetic code allowing the virus to be extracted and edited. If specks can come from normal people she may have been hidden in disdain as a mistake of the extended Amrita branch families before being used in the latest experiments and accepted back into the family as a normal human. For such a valuable assest I wonder how closely they monitor and protect her since she seemly has a great amount of independence and gooes around kidnapping and killing people of her own accord.

I'm realy curious what Tae did to make Yeon hate her and call her a monster, considering she loved and cared for Tae when she was a speck. I've got my suspicions about preying and tormenting her fellow specks when she got big, believing it was just the natural order of things. In spite of Yeon's affections she may have just gleefully decided it was her turn to feel in control over others. Or if she was given syringes of the weaponized shrink serum after being either adopted or recognized as a member of the Chen's extended family once she became normal sized. She does have the wicked streak of enjoying torturing and killing people, perhaps it's always been regular humans she suffered at the hands of or witnessed killing her fellow specks. She may have been caught in the act by Yeon or showed her one of her victims and gleefully invited her to join her, only for Yeon to be horrified and outraged. In the darkest timeline, what if she used a syringe on Yeon in a fit of rage and killed her?

P.S. That's some hella inflation when $43.55/hr is just slightly above minimum wage and insultingly low for a college graduate, from MIT no less if it's still equivalent to present day MIT. Fingers crossed this future society actually mandates that minimum wage to actually match what the living wage is. I wonder if Madeliene thinks he's just that desperate for work or if the gears start turning when she notices other awkward moments with Eren in the coming weeks.

Interesting, so Tae is a family member of a large Chinese family owned mega-corporation. Maybe something like a branch family or adoption since she doesn't have the army of assistants lingering around her like Grace. Curious what her role was, it seems to hint she dealt with some of the shadier parts of the company, since she has access to weaponized shots of the diminishment virus, is a proficient fighter, and has contacts that can track down or even kidnap people for her. The last mystery for her is whatever tragedy happened in her past. She keeps calling herself a monster and had an instant reaction to Alice calling her one, she either killed a friend/family in a fit of rage or is guilt ridden for failing to protect them from someone else.

Curious if Thomas is going to be able to walk away from his probably inevitable encounter with Tae. He's protective enough of Alice, and I don't think Tae is going to bring her back up to torment her further, so if he brawls with Tae when he learns she's already dead I wonder who will end up shrunken and what actions Grace takes in the worst scenario. It would be interesting to see if he hesitates and talks things out if Eren confesses to him what the girls did to him the night at the bar. If he has any measure of sympathy for specks I can see Tae letting him go.

Finally Eren's job interview. I have a suspicion. I think Madeleine Lacroix is possibly either a speck friendly scientist/engineer or maybe secretly a speck herself. I think speck friendly scientist is the more likely, I sort of get a feeling from a character from the Titan Empire series who found humans adorable and loved working with them as what her personality could be like towards specks. I imagine at some point if she's speck friendly she reveals she realized he was a speck weeks ago but didn't see a problem with it. Or alternatively if I read her wrong and she's a "specks are pests" supremacist who learns Eren's a speck when someone outs him and she then fires him.

One last topic I'm curious if Grace Chen learns of how bad the specks in Norwich's situation is from Eren and if she does anything about it. A billionaire would lose pennies setting up a new and safe community for hundreds of specks. It would be an interesting twist if it was revealed her family conglomerate manages to shelter and care for specks by employing them as an innovative workforce.

Hmm, curious to see what happens when all these giants and normals get thrown together into a drunken college party. I think Steve might get beaten by a giant like Max or one of the sorority girls might force herslef on him. I wonder if Sarah or Ella will be able to help him out of a rough spot?

I've got my gears turning about an event I picture happening. Tom gets recognition from Becky and Susan for being the brains behind the companies latest quality improvement. Due to his years with the company, his latest stellar performance, and Becky and Susan spreading the word to their influential parents who gave the inexperienced college girls manager positions; I think Tom might get a suprise promotion into a mid-rank manager role. And crucially, well above the his old role as a foreman that Megan's dad took from him.

I suspect that when Megan's parents learn James is dating their daughter, her mom will do her usual storming of the beta familiy's home to threaten and berate them. Either Tom will find his courage again to stand his ground when his family is threatened or James will stand up to her, and because her normal tactic isn't working she gets violent and beats one or both of them. Conveniently, maybe right as Becky and Susan arrive for a reciprocal meet-up or visit with Tom. Not only is she caught in the act and arrested, but word spreads that one of the foreman's wives just attacked the family of the only beta manager in the company administration. Causing a chain of karma events for Megan's parents getting punished and humiliated for their behaviour towards betas.

"I wanna break you". I was thinking Tina was going to give some frank treatment to Eva; humiliate her, break her down mentally, and build her back up while developing some kind of relationship with her. Now I'm starting to worry Tina's just a giddy girl with no plan to eventually restore Eva and instead just wants to turn her into a hopeless and broken toy permanently and is going to be pretty cruel on the journey doing it. Durability might be a big safety net, but she immediately went to stomping and grinding Eva's body. Curious to see how Tina reacts when Eva finally breaks from abuse/pain. Glee in breaking her will and turning her into a robotic toy or fanatical pet for the remanider of her time, or a switch to caring/nuturing while she builds her back up into someone different and restores her or keeps her as a little friend.

Hmm, I can see Penelope being too helpless to leave Filip's cabinet after he disappeared, but Hugo had better survival skills and knew Astrid was still around for two days calling out to Filip and waiting for him to come out on his own. Hugo really should've known it was time to move on, at least hide in his original cubbyhole. I really thought one of them would've been curious to hang outside and witness Filip being snatched by the vacuum. It's frustrating to see Astrid fail to put anything together. Shouldn't his beeper in his pants still have a tracking function in the club if it's still in the "donations" box? There's also the system entry logging when a micro was captured in her vacuum robot or building disposal that she can access as the minister. Astrid seems as confident as she is incompetent at this point.

Huh, Filip's line about having a beeper leads me to believe that Astrid will learn he's was at Forbidden Desires that night. If she puts two and two together; 1. Filip was there that night, 2. Amanda may reveal that they got the last, freshly caught micro, 3. maybe his name was Filip not Phil, 4. Finally he knew her by name, then she'll realize his fate, that she ate her boyfriend afterall. Curious to see how learning what she did to her lover does to her (assuming she doesn't throw him up in the next hour and save him). As much as I'd like to believe she will be shaken to her core and turn over a new leaf by actually using her position to bring micros to communities instead of feeding grounds, I don't think that'l happen. She's already shown a predatory nature with Filip, as if she enjoys stringing him along until he discovers who she really is. I think she may feel somewhat guilty, but more strongly be disappointed she didn't get to play with him longer, revel in her taboo finally being revealed to her tiny and vulnerable boyfriend

Aww, what an adorable first meeting. Interested to see what kind of relationship develops between these two.

Hmm, how exactly did the magic work? Did Luca transfer luck, potential, and/or fortune to Amelie? If she has an increased chance to say become rich or powerful, does Luca have the opposite? Increased chances for misfortune and bad events to happen to him? Seeing how small he is, not sure how he can survive increased misfortune or death events. Even if Amelie makes good on her promise to love and care for him, and ensuring a good life to support him and makeup for his sacrafice, I think plenty of chances for him to die or be seperated from her will occur.
